A friend of mine is leaving and I think we all know who I mean...I am saddened as I enjoyed this person and would have rather seen another go besides this one. I was thinking what if we give her a wham bam of a goodbye? If we had alot of money, knew who this person was exactly and where to send a present or three what would we send to this little wonder we have all gotten to know? I will start out with a nice outfit from this persons favorite store and some smashingly delightful shoes to go with it. Now it is your turn. What would you like to give this person who is leaving us in the way of a cyber gift goodbye. Happy days to you dearie! Enjoy your gifts. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

I think I would send bushels of roses, and glittery confetti. However, I do not know who is leaving, I have been so tangled up in work I seldom get here anymore.

I do enjoy your input when you are able to put forth though. Bushels of roses and glittery confetti would be nice. I hope someone gives her a good vacuum cleaner. She may need it! Haha

I do believe I know who you are talking about... lol but I feel I am always out of the loop here. In any case, I would give this person a doll, only because I feel she is the type of person to enjoy dolls. I would also give her some fuzzy bunny slippers on those walks to her bank and back, and a nice futon to sit on because they are just fun and so is she!
Now, I am not the best at picking out gifts, and I am sure I come off as having "young" opinions on gifts... lol...

Hi celtic, unfortuantly there a few leaving at the moment it seems who we enjoy having around. I'm trying to work out if the 'smashingly delightful shoes' could be a clue as to which one you speak of, had to mention that as I love your phrase though.
One of the ones I'm thinking of would be most delighted with a bag of good quality rat food for the beasties and a carrot for herself.

I think the best gift for my leaving friend is an album filled with photographs of our time together. At least he/she will remember me and our memories where ever he/she goes. I will try to cherish our friendship by giving my friend the last and most memorable moments ever. Maybe it should be done in a large company of friends so that the impact would be bigger and grander.

I am sorry to learn of another departure, which really got me sitting back to think of the reason(s) for their decision.
If money is not an issue, then it will be appropriately a box of Noka Encore for appreciation of such a wonderful friend, who has been a treat to have all these while.
So, a great Encore here and compliments of the season.

Hey celtic! That is such a wonderful idea! I don't want her
to leave either and am truly hoping that she will reconsider
because she is such a big part of the Lot and will really be
missed so much! I would buy her whatever her favorite perfume
is! Or if she doesn't like to wear perfume, maybe a nice handbag
to go with the outfit you've picked out! I love cyber gifts!

It really shows how much you love that friend of yours but if I were at your place I would have thought of buying a gift that keep her/him reminding of me. A dress or shoes will be for one season only but if u buy her a decoration piece of something that is of daily use, that would do the magic for that instead of a cyber thing.

Hi Celticeagle, I do not know the person you are referring to but if we could get her a cyber gift, it would be a cyber arena that this person could feel that they could discuss and post to their hearts content without wanting to leave and have their friends miss them or this person missed the friends they have made. A cyber world of ...whatever makes them happy along with the new outfit, and shoes and flowers and gift certificate to a yummy restaurant and brownies sprinkled with Texas hugs. That's a send off!
