...of a world without any partition, boundaries, discrimination, religion and war. These are the things that cause so much trouble. What do you think? This world is all divided. So much division is never good. Division always creates problems and make people weak, isn't it?

Hi sagnik, well you missed out the crux one, the controlling despots who manipulate your list of five to bring on the division. Let's see if you abolish all religion, great idea by the way, the people won't be able to be manipulated into going to war most times as they might spend time looking at the actual issues rather than blindly following the religious discriminations which allow them to act so sheep like. Countries economies still need boundaries otherwise you'd be inviting all these different religions in to come and fight in the more sane countries. Usually people make themselves weak by not thinking for themselves.

But let's not have any countries. The economy will be the same all over. What do think of that? It will be a mess, I guess.

I think there is wayyyy too much separation and division in the world today. that is why there is so much hatred and crime also. I wish we could all live in a world of peace also, but I dount it ever happens.

In today's world everybody says 'This is mine, that is yours.' ; 'This is my country, that is yours.'. Nobody says anything about 'we'. We are always trying to separate others from us while it should be the other way round. Everybody should be the same or try to be. Discrimination is a big problem in today's world.

I think we start where we are. We become informed citizens of our countries and vote (if possible) for people who can change the world to a better place. We also start in our families, our communities, our schools and places of worship. Each day we try to be a bit kinder than the day before. Even a smile and thank you to the check out clerk can help a lot. I pick up litter outside of my house and my neighbours house (she is an old lady), after a few months I noticed others doing the same. The world is full of good people but good people don't make news so the news maginifies the bad and makes it seem that all are bad. Just try to make a small difference, who knows where it will lead!

Absolutely right. One drop of water when combined with millions other drops can cause flood. We should all try to make that small difference for the good of mankind and for this world. Everybody wants to be better, but I think most of them are trying to find the way to do it.

I-Ching: Book of Changes - The I Ching is a "reflection of the universe in miniature". The word "I" has three meanings: ease and simplicity, change and transformation, and invariability.[25] Thus the three principles underlying the I Ching are the following:

 1. Simplicity - the root of the substance. The fundamental law underlying everything in the universe is utterly plain and simple, no matter how abstruse or complex some things may appear to be.
 2. Variability - the use of the substance. Everything in the universe is continually changing. By comprehending this one may realize the importance of flexibility in life and may thus cultivate the proper attitude for dealing with a multiplicity of diverse situations.
 3. Persistency - the essence of the substance. While everything in the universe seems to be changing, among the changing tides there is a persistent principle, a central rule, which does not vary with space and time
That is a noble dream that I support and also dream about. But I dont think that is the very root of the problem of this world. I have no idea what it is as well but I think when we have successfully identified it and know what to do with it then the rest of all the problem's negativity would also follow suit. Of course I think that its also not good to have everything too good. That would just be too weird and kinda "Stepford"-ish, or that recent release movie about a world where people cannot lie. I think its imperative that everything has balance. Everything will just cancel each other out eventually so the next generation can start from scratch and build their own. That's just me anyways.^_^

I think there are a huge number of problems to identify from. Since the number of problems is so big, it is fruitless to search for the core. But of course, if everything is good, then life will lose its meaning. There will be no police, no Security Agencies. The way I see it, if there is nothing bad in this world, then many people will lose their jobs. What a shame...lol...

No, division isn't good. And wars have been fought for boundaries. But war has been a part of the world for thousands of years. They seem to go in cycles and men have been doing them just forever. The world has always been divided in some way and I think it always will. It is inevidible.

Absolutely right. We want change but we do not change ourselves. We are all looking at others to take the initiative and are all laying back in our seats. That is not the way to go.

Hi Celtic, Inevitable? Yes, unfortunately I think so. We just love war too much to do away with them and we will surely never wipe away the boundaries. Would have been quite nice though. Everything uniform...

There are many people who want to change the world for good. These people want to face the problems of the world and destroy them. But many lose their way in this maze called 'life'. If we can work together, we can move forward towards a better and more beautiful world of peace and prosperity.

Hey sagnik! Wouldn't that be so wonderful! But, you are talking about if we lived in a perfect world! And unfortunately, we don't! And, I'm afraid I don't think that is ever going to happen, at least not in my lifetime or yours and pretty much never! I hate that we have boundaries, war, discrimination and disagreements over religion! But, that is just the way it is and if we all keep working on it maybe one day it will change! Like you said, we all can dream...and pray~

Hi Opal, Yes, we can definitely pray for a world which has no divisions and problems, where there is peace and unity. It is all we can do in the circumstances. Thank you for responding.

It would be wonderful to be able to be a part of a world where none of the conflicts that we face would exist. Throughout my life I've seen racism and religious intolerance as the worst issues in the world. Both of these are both unneccessary and uncalled for. However, the thing that I have also noticed in my life is that if these issues were erased, because of the nature of people, they would only find other issues to have conflict over.

Hi, Doran, we just love to quarrel, don't we? We always want to prove that we are superior than the others. We are so selfish and prejudiced that we will create new differences and will fight over them, just like the present day.

hi Sagnik,If at all the entire world is united without any differences a bug called greediness would arise and creep in between which would obviously led to many problems.so rather than fighting every day with that problem it is better to live with the ones you like and follow the appropriate religion which is best for you.Every one wants power and you can be kind enough to give up your desire of ruling others or commanding others which wouldnt be the case with the rest hence so many partitions and wars which would drive off the happiness and a simple smile of the poor ones who are only spectators in the this game.gud day.

hello sagnik! That's a very nice dream. I think we all want that but i don't agree that its the root problem. Personally, I think if we really want our world to be better we should start from ourselves. We are very good at blaming the incompetence of the government, the people around us, the terrorists. However, did we do our part in making our work a better place? God created people differently because we have different roles to play. We always look at other's faults that's why their is war. We forgot to check our faults and incompetence. Moreover, an undivided world would be very hard to govern.

Hi feev, thank you for such nice inputs. I agree that it will be difficult to govern. My dream can never be a reality. I know that. We won't be comfortable with uniting with others. We like discrimination ourselves. It is an idealist thought which cannot be done in practical life. But the most important thing you said is that we should always look at our faults rather than pointing our fingers at others. It is one thing everybody says but nobody does. I do it sometimes but mostly I complain about others. It is true and I believe almost everybody has this defect.
