10 reasons why I MYLOT...

If you want to know, read on.
1. FUN - Mylot is one of the best sites I have found to have fun and spend time. With sites like Facebook and Orkut in the neighborhood, I prefer Mylot because it is much more interesting here.
2. EARN - One of the best thing about Mylot is that it pays. No need to elaborate on that
3. FRIENDS - I get to interact with people from all over the world and make friends.
4. GET HELP - If I have a problem in my life, I share it with fellow mylotters. Most often than not I get a solution to my problem from them.
5. HELP OTHERS - I am not so selfish as to only get help. I love to advise and help others and I do it here. Though I do not know how much of a help I am, but my advises do not hurt others, I hope.
6. OTHER SITES - I have come to know about so many other money making sites, thanks to the discussions here. Previously mylot was the only online earning site for me. Now there are a few.
7. IMPROVES ENGLISH - Chatting and participating in discussions here has improved my English substantially.
8. TYPING SPEED - Constant typing has helped me to increase my speed from 40 words per minute to 60-70 words per minute. That is quite an increase
9. PUBLICIZE SITES - Giving links in my profile has helped me to draw some traffic in my blogs. I am earning little somethings from those blogs.
10. TIME - I had too much free time on my hands. So instead of wasting my time by chatting away on an instant messenger or playing games, I can spend it to help others, have fun and also earn some money - all at the same time.
I guess they will delete this discussion for some violation but could not stop myself from sharing all these things.

well well...i dont know my 10 reasons for using Mylot...but one reason for sure....it helps to get views and reviews about your work and deeds from a spectrum of people and definitely help you to take and think about certain decisions that might had been as an opportunity cost if at all you would have thought about them....

Hi shraddha,
you can definitely reach a lot of people, with serious opinion and understanding, all at once. There are several sites like mylot, but the members are not so helpful or co-operative. It is a great platform to show your work and get reviews about them.

I hope they do not delete this discussion. This is a very good discussion, and I hope all the new member read this discussion. Except for points numbers 9 and 10, I am also like you. I am yet to make a blog. I have to do it one of these days, and of course I am not able to spend more quality time in here.Anyhow thanks for this wonderful discussion.

Hey, you are still here! I agree with all of those. I often try to find ways in discussions to let Mylot know just how great I think they are. I have tried out afew other sites and I find Mylot the very best i have found to date. It is a great place and I hope all the freinds I have found stick for awhile.

I am with you in this. those statements that you mentioned are true. you know it actually increased my good typing skills after months of being active in this site. it's nice to see that other users such as yourself has taken notice of this. i agree why do the useless chat when you can just do mylot.

I love all of the reasons that you've listed as to why you love MyLot. I would have to say that I agree with the majority of them myself. The one thing that I don't see on your list in so many words is that you learn by spending time on mylot. I think that is above everything the main reason that I really like to spend time here. Since I've been on mylot I've learned a lot of things in my life that I really don't think I would have learned otherwise. Mylot is an extraordinary site with extraordinary people and that is why I choose to spend my time here.

I would say that those are all pretty good reasons. To be completely honest with you I am mostly here to earn a little extra money. All of the other things are also reasons I participate. This is just all around a good site. The innventors of this site are very clever. I am surprised that there are not more people that have joined.

Hi April,
I also wondered why more people do not join this site. Even all those who join do not stay active. I am sure less than half of the actual population is active. I do not understand why they do not like this site. It is great to participate and earn. I love those small amounts that mylot send me. They help me a lot in my day to day life.

Nice one Sagnik. It's one of the best analysis i have seen so far on MYLOT.
I joined mylot before one years to make some good money, but after 6-7 months i got fed up due to it's low income opportunity and left the site. But after that i realised the other importnace of the site. Becuase I miss the site so much that i decided to start again a fresh.
Though the earning opportunity is still the same, I am quite satisfied with the site and the members.

Hey sagnik! I happen to agree with all your reasons pretty much
for mylotting! I don't deal with any other sites, so that one
maybe not so much! And I already am proficient in English too,
so maybe cross that one off too! I just love to be here to interact
with my friends, meet new people from different places and
cultures, learn new things and have a great time! And, yes if
I do have a problem this site is a great place to share and work
things out because the people here are warm and giving and love
to listen and help without judging! And I love to help others
with their problems so it works out so well! Mylot has been one
of the most wonderful places for me since I found it over a year
and a half ago and I plan to stay here as long as it is around!

ya.many of us know other sites through the discussions here with others and we can exchange the ideas about some other sites and share with their experience .that's what i also got from mylot before and i also tried my best to help someone and answer their question if i could know. that's really a nice place here.

i agree what you said,i find that i really take some advantage from mylot.sometimes i couldnt feel bored in my life.i often spend several hours every day to stay in mylot,i can make friends with different country and learn english from it,i find that my english improve quickly,i can understand what it mean.at the same time,i can earn money,although what i earn only a few,but i satisfy my work in mylot.

I also wish we had met earlier. I wish I was more active before. I wasted 5 months by doing nothing. I would have earned so much if I had been active for all those months. This is a great place to hang around and make friends.

When I first came in here, it was all about the money, but as time has gone on, it is more than that, as the money is just a bonus now, but a very good bonus indeed. I love mlot for the sharing part of it, as we can express our views whether right or wrong, and others cna express theirs as well. I love the fact I can lean from others since we have lots of differnt countries respresented, with lots of cultures. The fact I have made frends with lots of users from other coutnries is great too. It is much more than I ever anticipated happening as well. Finally, the earnings are not all that great, but it is more than I thought I would earn, and it all does add up in the end, and seems big over time. I am really enjoying myself in here and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

The money is surely a big bonus. I have not earned much,about 25$. That amounts to somewhere around rs.1000 in our currency. It is not much, but when you think that you have earned 1000rs. just by chatting and having fun, you feel like you have achieved a lot and that is a great feeling.
I just do not know why my friends do not like this site. I would have earned so much more, had they been active. I have about 10 referrals and none are active. What a pity!
