People keep telling me how pretty my hair looks, but I need a hair cut. Should I believe them and let it grow a bit or should I just figure they are being polite and
get it cut. I let it go this month to spend the money on Christmas, but now I don't know what to do. It just looks sloppy to me. What would you do?

Maybe the next trip to the salon you should ask to just have a trim and get it styled. If others think the length is flattering, there is probably some truth in it.It may just be that you need a stylist.

Give it a little time. You can save money by not cutting it! If it looks a little ragged, a week will take that look away. I'm not cutting mine at all this winter. I'm hoping it will be long enough to ponytail by the time it gets hot and I'll have no more hair-cutting expense!

I had the same dilemma a couple of years ago...and then wall st crashed and so much became of freeing up money in one place to afford essentials...so I let my hair grow and when it needs a trim, I do it myself or my boyfriend does it. I've saved 15.00 every six weeks for two years doing that.

Hi,savypat. Personally, I would do what makes me feel good. I do what makes me comfortable. If you think you need a haircut, go for it. After all, it is our hair, lol. Sometimes, we need a change in our hairstyle. A haircut would enhance our looks. I always go to my hairstylist and ask him (gay, actually), what to do with the ever-curly hair that I have. I have found ways to carry it by using hair polish. This I do when my hair is still damp and easy to manage.
If it makes you happy, go for it, savypat!
