What's The Last Thing You Bought In 2009?

Other than grocery shopping, it would be the candy I bought in Virginia City on the 26th, I guess. Bit o' Honey, yum...

That would be a stamp and a money order... practical stuff. That was a couple days ago. The last splurge item I bought was a magazine, and that has some slow cooker recipes that I was interested in checking out. Sadly, I still haven't actually gotten around to reading the magazine (or the two free ones that I'm subscribed to) even though it's been a couple days.

I had five dollars worth of Border Bucks, and since I knew they were having a sale anyway, I paid a visit to Borders yesterday. I wanted one of those calendars that sit on one's desk, where you tear a page away a day. The one I bought was designed by the creators of cuteoverload.com. I'm familiar with their website, and seeing a precious animal with a cute caption every day I sit at my computer desk sounds good to me. It was half off, so it cost $6.50.

Pizza and the evening paper. Pizza was for the group of kids ringing in the new year here and the paper was for me.

I bought a lot of things actually at the same time on December 29, 09. Items are two everyday shirt, one pair of everyday shorts, shower curtain, pasta, instant coffee, tempura mix and twilight VCD.

The last thing I bout in 2009 was Christmas presents for my nephew and my niece. I bought him a dinosaur and my neice a picture from the movie New Moon. I ordered them both a little late. I hope both of them like what I bought them even though I ordered them later then I should have. I gave then 4 other presents for Christmas.

The last thing that hubby and I bought in 2009 was an order of hot wings and two mixed drinks! Ha ha! we were having a wonderful evening out with our daughter and some friends in a local restaurant/bar, listening to the DJ spin sounds from the 80's! It was a wonderful evening and the wings were some of the best I have eaten in quite a while! The bartender is a personal friend which made the evening even more special.

The last thing I spent money on would be a taxi cab going home. Hmmm..pretty much it.

I bought some socks for both of my daughters with cash. And then I bought some milk from the grocery store. This is all that I can remember.

It's actually still 2009 where I'm at. I've got 5 more hours to go before I can usher in the new year. I also don't plan on going anywhere in the next few hours either. So, I guess the last thing that I paid money for was everyone's dinner a few days ago. It was my little brother's birthday so I offered to pay for a family dinner at a restaurant. Other then that I haven't really left the house except to go to work.

I bought some snacks for us for New Years and some soda. My husband bought the Wii fit exercising board. Trying to hit our goal in losing weight. I have been doing pretty good at losing weight this year. Very proud of myself in that area. I bought some nail polish. Happy New Year.

Hi danishcanadian, I was going to say a Greek coffee but the avatar paid for that, so it would be the mobile phone card as mine was gone. It was quite useless though as all the mobile phone lines were down.

Last night before 12 midnight I was in search of an open store within the neighborhood. Not to buy something that will make me feel full but something that will make me sober. Luckily, I found one and it made my new year as fun as I've expected it to be.

We went out for dinner last night, but we paid with that on gift cards, so not sure if that counts. The last purchase I made with money from our account was on Wednesday evening. After my hubby's physical therapy we stopped at Whole Foods to get fruits & veggies from shrimp kabobs.

I bought the best gift I have ever given myself to date, I went out and got Johnny Mercer: The Dream is On Me cd. what great music! It took my breath away!Happy Birthday to me!Well a few days early!

Gas for my car! I had went to visit my sister on Wed. and I shopped quite a bit but the drive left my car's tank about half full and with the freezing weather on the way I had to top it off to prevent the gas lines from freezing....not very exciting but necessary!

The last thing I bought in 2009 is chinese herb medicine, I have some backpain for these few day, so I go to see doctor (chinese doctor), I bought my chinese herb medicine, it's cost me RM100. This is the only thing I bought in 31th of December 2009.

I bought a pair of grey and black striped fingerless gloves and a Bryan Froud Faeries calendar.

Hi Danishcanadian, The last things that i bought for 2009 were groceries for the new year's eve. i bought some ingredients for the spaghetti and salad. i did buy new pair of pants and shirts for my hubby and two kids that they will use to attend the first mass in 2010. Happy New Year!
