hi Gabs and Gissi hope you got home safe and sound. Earlier today, we went down to the kent coast for dinner in a pub where we have lots of friends. it started to snow , a little bit, on the way down, but while we were eating dinner, slung it down in earnest late afternoon. you may be aware, but i am terrified of driving in snow. well ,,, we finished up and set out, with me driving. it was like a blizzard and on the way to the motorway it is uphill and meant using low gears. oh wow , i started to slide sideways but kept my cool. but my other half was panicking (as you do...huh) so I pulled over and let him take over. it was that blue/white as we drove along, with thick snow pouring down. you couldnt see the sky or even either side of the road. We got about half way home and amazingly the sky cleared, the snow had gone and it was just a very cold evening. I took over then and drove the rest of the way home. Sooooo I hope you got home safely as you have no co -driver like I did. fingers crossed xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow, Gabs, hasn't that gone damn quick? It only seems like five minutes ago you were telling us you were off and that you had arrived safely! Where does time go? Well I for one am pleased to have you coming back, only because I am selfish in that I have missed going out to play with Gissi and getting up to mischief with him, but obviously I have missed you too! I wish you a safe journey and look forward to hearing that you have got home safely, I understand if it's too cold for Gissi to come out to play today, but I am in fine spirits and unusually happy for this time of the year. Mind you I haven't set up any new years resolutions for myself, I did last year and I came down with a big bang, I had failed. So I am taking it one day at a time, at least I am happy that it's cold, you know me and the damn heat LOL! See you soon sweetie and drive safe xxxx

gee he is strange most dogs love the car, maybe he needs some tranquilers from the vet for car trips? I hope you made it back safely.

Hey gabs! I hope you and little Gissi will have a very safe trip home and let us all know when you get there! I know that you are dreading this trip!lol And as for the weather, we are also having some strange stuff happening here too! We are freezing and the temp right now is 20 degrees going down into the teen with snow flurries or whatever! And right now I have no hot water or heat because the boiler is on the fritz, as usual! So it is damn cold in my apartment! But, luckily for me I am mylotting in my kitchen/office with the gas oven on! It doesn't cost me anything since I don't pay for the gas, but I still hate to have it on! I am sitting here in my computer chair with the oven door open, and Star in my lap! My boyfriend has gotten us some more Chinese Food for dinner! Yippee! I made a roast beef on Friday and really didn't want it again tonight!lol So, please check in when you return home with his Majesty Gissi! Hi gabs Glad to hear that you made it back home. Gissi are you okay too? See mum is a good driver after all. It wasn't that bad was it Gissi? You came right back home where you belong. Mum won't take you somewhere and leave you, so just be calm when you have to travel in the car. It is all good. Keep smiling...

I hope your journey won't be too difficult for you and that Gissi will behave himself! Take care while driving as I'm sure you will. I find that as much as I like going away and taking a break, it is really nice to return home too. Whenever we go anywhere it is usually by plane to visit my husband's family on the other side of the country so I have to leave my fur babies behind and I really miss them while I'm away; that is the only thing I hate; I wish I could take them with me! Have a great trip!

Safe journey Gabs. I don't care for driving in the snow either. I canceled my clients today because there was no place to park my vehicle and the roads were nasty. Better to stay home and be safe.

Travel safely. I will be thinking of you as you head home. Take your time.

Have a safe drive home Gaby, and watch that little man of yours! Be careful on those icy roads, some of them can be treacherous, so take it easy. Let us know when you arrive home safe and sound.

Hi gabs, I read you've already made it home with disgruntle doggy in tow, next time try giving him a late night then he may just sleep in the car, my little one was out for count on our two hour drive back today.
