Okay time for secret eating habits to be revealed. The other day I had a typical picnic meal for dinner. Hot dogs, baked beans, iced tea, and Frito Chips. I eaqt my Fritos oddly sometimes and this was one of those times. I put baked beans into the Frito eating it like a dip. I did have 2 types of dip here but like the beans on the Fritos. So what is one or more of your odd eating habits? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hi Grandpa Bob, I don't really have any odd habits. Well I like hot and fried stuffs. But I absolutely cannot take vegetables or body parts. That's just that.

I also like to eat my chips that way....but I like BBQ'd chips with the baked bean on them....but it has to be Bush's baked beans....I don't eat alot of weird things...but being single I guess one of my habits would be to eat out of containers....if I have something in the freezer I just nuke it and eat right out of the container so I don't have to wash more dishes! LOL...lazy? Nope...just managing my time better!

I have not tried Campbells, but I prefer Bush's beans and we get them in the 8 pack at Sam's Club. That and Rotel tomatoes are in my cupboard all of the time.

I like baked or other beans as a dip for corn chips too! But right now I'm on a lo-carb, lo-fat diet over the winter, so am eating things like lean meats with a cooked (microwaved) onion with mustard and nutrasweet, all mixed together.. But even when not dieting, I usually eat lunch for breakfast and breakfast for lunch! (Cereal.)

I like the eat cottage cheese with potato chips, using it as a dip. Most people are grossed out by that but it's very tasty! I also like pineapple mixed in with my hamburgers, especially if there is also mozzarella cheese added--it's kind of like a pizza on a bun! Needless to say, I rarely have that dish as it's loaded with calories and fat.

I hate cottage cheese by itself. Ewwww, curdled milk is all I think when I see it. Now pineapple, is a great fruit that I love a lot. I love Hawaaian Pizza which is pineapple and pepperoni. Yummy. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

hi grandpa bob oh yes some of my friends think I am weird but I love to dip my french fries into my melting ice cream, combination of sweet and sour is really yummy. also I love to'dip potato chips into baked beans, and also into tartar sauce, but here we have fish and french fries so my fries go into the tartar sauce, truth be told I love the tartar sauce more than the fish. Fritos and baked beans, that is one really great combo along with the hot dogs, makes me hungry and its not quite ten am here in Ca.' and am slobbering for baked beans and Fritos a nd some fat oscar mayers beef dogs.oh and a fresh hot cup of black coffee no cr eam no sugar just black and strong.

Hi Hatley! Try dipping those fries into a chocolate milkshake sometime. Similar result but you don't have to wait for the ice cream to melt...

Don't do it Hatley!! Don't think about 'em anymore!! Remember your goal for 2010! (I have to admit, I like tarter sauce more than fish too! Here's my fish sandwhich: Butter toast, 2 slices of cheese, a fish in there somewhere, pickles and tarter sauce. I don't want to taste the fish!)

That is not a very healthy meal Bob, except the baked beans. I dont know what frito chips are? I gues sometimes I make weird sandwiches, such as pepperoni, egg and potato salad. I love food anyway, so I tend to try out different recipers from time to time. I do want to try making chickpea patties some time soon.

Hi, Grandpa Bob! This looks like a typical meal to me. It does not look odd to me. I think it looks wholesome and delicious. It reminds me so much of a cook out. It is perfect for an picnic! Enjoy! Take care, webeishere..

You had a cookout (in?) and didn't invite us? Since you are your beans, did you get pudding? Isn't it funny how in the winter we crave summer foods, and for the second half of summer we're just drooling over the thoughts of beef stew (or other winter-type food)? Two days ago we had hot dogs, beans, mac'n cheese and cole slaw...lol. No Fritos though. Never had them with beans, will have to try that. Down here the favorite is Frito Chili Pie, which is Fritos topped with chili and cheese. Once in a while we go to McD's, but I'm normally good about it. I get side salads instead of fries. Once a great while, when I do get fries, I also have to get a chocolate milk shake. I just love fries dipped into the milkshake. You can keep the ketchup, just give me the shake. The other thing I like, is to dip my pizza crust in ranch dressing. Delicious!

I don't know, if you can count it as a odd habit or not, but I like to eat all the things separated. It means that I first eat meat or meat products, then eat potatoes or pasta or whatever non-meat and finally comes salad.

I put my Fritos in hot tomato soup, and I like M&Ms in my Raisin Bran Crunch, or in hot oatmeal, and in popcorn. On peanut butter sandwiches, I love any of the following: cucumbers, crisp lettuce, dill pickle slices, sweet pickle relish. Same things are good on cheese sandwiches! And...I eat almost everything BUT soup with a fork and not a spoon. Shhhh...don't tell. Karen

You just gave me an idea grandpa Bob! When I eat baked beans, I always feel there is something lacking. I might try it with Fritos some time. I don't think I have any strange eating habits. Hatley's dipping of french fries in ice cream does remind me of a time back in school where I dipped french fries in chicken gravy. So unhealthy!

Hi Granpa, Where is the salad? My goodness with all that starch you need a salad. I guess one of my odd habits or desires is that I always must have something green with a substantial meal. Now, if I had the meal that you described I would have had to have either a lettuce salad, some cole slaw or if nothing like that was available a bunch of dill pickles.

I have many odd eating habits Grandpa, folks are always looking at me rather strangly at meal times. For instance, when I eat a sandwich for lunch, rather than continually pick up potato chips with my fingers, I put a layer of potato chips on the sandwich when I begin to eat the sandwich! I love the crunch and it keeps my fingers from becoming greasy! Another odd habit, I cannot stand the orange residue when eating cheese puffs...so I stab them with a fork and eat them! People always look at me odd for that one!

Mmm, I bet Fritos and baked beans would be a yummy combination! I eat somethings in weird ways or weird combos but after a while it just seems normal, it doesn't seem strange until someone really gives you the side-eye when you eat it. We have always put cinnamon on spaghetti and I didn't realize that was weird until someone told me so. I also like to eat pickles and cheese together. And I always put chicken corn chowder on toast and eat it with a fork and knife instead of in a bowl with a spoon.

When I eat potato chips of any type, I have to read something. It doesn't matter what it is. It could be a book or it could be just on the Internet. But I just can't eat chips any other way. I have no idea really why I do this. I think it was a habit that I got into years ago and thus I never got out of it, just kept doing it because I was always doing it.
