In Indian Mythology 'Mahabharata' there is a woman character named Draupadi. She had five husbands. They are the sons of King Pandu. All the princes loved Draupadi very much. But that was not enough to Draupadi. She had a boyfriend too. The boyfriend was Lord Krishna, the King of Daraka. Draupadi used to open her heart to Krishna.Mentally she was not satisfied with her five husbands. Hello friends, what is your comment about this ancient Lady?

This is not fair! I am a Hindu, but I will never accept such accusation for any women from whichever religion!

She was not a Muslim. The Mythology was written long before Christ. Then the social character or structure was otherwise. Krishana was her friend.

I stand on my opinion & Sorry if I hurt your feelings but base on bhanusb paragraph story, that she have 5 husband & one boyfriend.Bhanusb told what is your comment about this ancient Lady? So what lesson we will get from here? It is already obvious polygamy. No matter what is your religion is or mythology's believe. In my point of view She commit adultery.Draupadi character is not perfect so we must learn from her mistake not to repeat it.I don't know the whole story but don't blame me for commenting on my point of view.

hi maybe i can narrate the actual story to you .. one of the pandava brothers, won the hand of Princess Draupadi in a fair fight .. when the brothers returned home, they told their mother on their win without revealing that the 'gift' was actually a living woman .. the mother (being like all mothers) told her children to share the 'gift' and not fight over ownership .. listening to their mothers words as 'wisdom' the brothers shared Princess Draupadi as their wife .. Princess Draupadi prays to Lord Krishna .. and the love she has for Lord Krishna is the love we have for 'God' and not lover ... Me, myself i love my god very much and it is not as i love my husband, the love is totally different She did not choose to have all those man to be her husband, she was cornered into taking them as husband there are lots of hidden message in the story .. i) mothers love and respect to her words (as the sons follow her instructions blindly ii) mothers mistake to ask the children to share everything without thinking iii)an indian womans obidience to her 'inlaws' words and instructions iv) love of god thats all i can think of now ... cheers

Hi sanjana, I know the story. Mahabharata is a great epic. Yes there are many messages In Mabharata. For that reason it became religious book of the Hindus. The love story of Radha-Krishna is symbolic. Radha's love is devotion to Lord Krishna(God). Thanks for narrating the real story.

I can understand!! I find that many men are unbend-able and tend to do what it is they want and not put the woman first but expect her to put him first. She probably got tired of their selfish ways and found someone who was less selfish.

Yes Lord Krishna was her great friend and well wisher. I also think she probably got tired.
