Mu husband keep on on complaining, Oh!! my feet is cold. then I said, use socks, then he said, it doesn't help. I do feel cold too but I doubled my socks sometimes it helps and sometimes don't. I am just wondering what you do to this problem? why our feet feels colder than the rest of our body during winter time? What is your idea about this? Hope to hear from the expert.

Oh no!! I can't think that I am warm in a very cold weather. It doesn't help even if you condition your mind that it is warm though it is below zero degrees.LOL.

My mom says that it has something to do with your thinking also. People who think a lot about cold suffer from cold feet, although, I never believed in it!

You can buy a good pair of socks and this will help you keep your feet warmer. If you buy winter boots I would suggest getting more than a 1000 grains of thinsulate because this help keep your feet warmer. I think my boots are like 1500 Grains and they sweat even if it's 20 below out and I am ankle high in the snow for hours. I purchased these for winter activities and they were well worth the money and I would suggest for you to get good socks and if you can afford it a good pair of winter boots.

Well, I have boots and I don;t feel that much cold when I am out because I have boots and double pair of socks. What I am talking about is during bed time? I can't help it. My feet is too cold even if I wrapped it with blanket.

I like the cold so it is not a problem to me. The only time the cold would pose a problem is if it becomes unbareable so i woould get some socks and use a blanket when i am going to bed.

Actually our feet feels colder than the rest of our body because the less purified parts of the blood flows to the lower part. In our body the purest part of the blood goes to the upper parts where our brain situated. And in that situation the best way to keep the leg in upper position for some moment and then to lower position. And repeating this we can circulate more blood to the lower part. And it help in warming the leg.

This is a funny question for me, because in the winter I always wear heavy socks to bed, even though I am the only person I know who does this and my husband makes fun of me for it. But I cannot stand cold feet!

Sometimes I wear two pais of socks or thicker ones than I would during Summer. I wear socks for bed as well. Sometimes bed socks which are thicker than normal ones. Theres not really much more you can do. I think you can get slippers which you put in the microwave to warm up. Wearing a thick pair of socks and them should keep your feet fairly warm I think.

If your hubby is talking about when you get into bed there is a rule. All women's feet and butts drop 20 degrees, there is nothing you can do about it Lets.

I usually just get under my covers in my bed and snuggle up with my dog or turn the heater on in my room. In the winter though it's pretty easy to get the inner coldness where no matter how many layers you have on you are still going to feel like you are freezing.

I am a sufferer of the dreaded cold feet In the winter, when it gets unbearably cold, I will usually dig out a pair of the thickest socks I can find to keep my feet insulated and warm

Aah, I wish I knew the reason why the feet get so cold in winter too . To avoid cold feet I often wear two pairs of socks. One of the pairs is a normal thick winter type and the other pair is the typical super warm room socks. That never fails for me :)

Don't feel bad, I live in a very warm weather climate (Miami, Florida), and since it's been cold, I suffer constantly from cold feet, cold hands, and a very cold nose. I can't wait for summer so I can deal with the heat instead!

Let's see. I'm in Canada so it is winter here for almost half of the year, or it seems to be. lol 2 pairs of socks to wear inside my boots when I go outside. Socks and slippers inside the house. I wear sleeping socks to bed, but have to kick them off after my feet get warmed up. I also use an electric blanket in bed, too. Sometimes, if it is really cold, I'll warm up my majic bag and put it on my feet under the covers. I have bad circulation in my feet, so they get cold pretty easily.

Oh? so then the electric blanket had helped it? I have no electric blanket and I would think that is too expensive to have? But anyway, it make sense to warm up your feet using electric blanket.

Oh I could almost feel the winter myself with this topic of yours. Well cold feet? Let me see..... I once read this line: "When your feet is cold cover you head." You know what? In my own experience this helps. When feeling so cold, certainly it is the feet that feel the coldest. I believe this could be because the blood is having some hard time circulating down the feet because of the cold season. That is just my wild guess, I don't know if this could be true. But no matter what the reason could be, it is always necessary to do something so that the feet will not really freeze. In my own experience when inside an air-conditioned bus and can't reach for any blanket or any additional sweat shirt or has no socks to double, then what would I do? You know what I always wear long scarf over my neck during cold days like these. It also serves as accent for my clothing but when feeling so cold inside a bus, I use this to cover my head and and my ears included. This has been really helpful in warming up my body even down to the feet. So if double socks can't help you warm up your feet I suggest you double or triple your head coverings, and make sure the whole head including the ears. I hope this helps you friend. Happy winter!

Oh really? I might try that. You know what? I am not using scarf in here even if it is too cold. Most ladies and even men have scarf and hats but me? no, I just have double coats and gloves and double socks with boots... but then at night I feel the coldness of my feet. I might try this advice. Thanks my friend.

Hi, Whenever my feet feel cold, I will soak both feet into warm water for about 20 mins and have a foot scrub at the same time, It feel so relaxing and comfortable.Give it a try. After the foot scrub, then put on a sock, then my feet will feel warm and it is a veri best time to go to bed.
