Today morning , as i was rushing towards college in my car, i was playing some alternative rock music like "Breaking Benjamin" and at the signal another car came beside me and Opera was being played in the car. Yes i found it weird, but just to think people have different tastes. I like Opera also, but maybe only in the bathtub or something. Anyways What kind of music do you people like to hear while you are driving your car?

I like to listen to a mix of everything. I like a little rock to get me moving and a some dance music so I can dance a bit while I am driving. The only thing I don't listen to is country. I have nothing against it, just don't like it while I am driving.

Hey there and good to see you! I don't have a radio in the car because it kills conversation (well it would if I had a passenger ). Why opera in the bathtub?

I always remember you and you always ask me the same thing every time lol If you fall asleep in the bathtub, the water is cold when you wake up - and that is awful

Oh, I guess I would just want something I can sing to. I want it upbeat and moving along, so I get there a little faster. Usually I am in the car with my husband and we talk. He likes country music, not necessarily my favorite.

I like to make cds for the car, so on one cd, I can have a combination of classic rock, techno, and alternative completely intermingled. Lots of high energy music to wake me up for work, and then again at the end of the day to celebrate being out of work :)

My personal favourite type of driving music is rock 'n' roll I always tend to go for the more classic stuff like AC/DC, rocking it out whilst cruising along an open road. You can't beat such an awesome feeling

Ac/Dc is the best kind of music to hear when am on a open road traveling between towns. Sounds amazing during the valleys and forests. Nice choice my friend. Thanks for replying anyways

Depends on my mood, I guess. I really like rock, pop and electronic music. But the styles do vary from hardcore punk rock to mellow ambient electronic music. I guess that there's so much diversity in music genres that you can pick something like rock and hear it trhough all moods at anytime of the day, from a smooth pop rock in the morning and to some heavy rock as the day progresses. This plays out with most styles of music.

Hi geminipunk. I mainly listen to rock and pop when I'm driving. One thing I cannot stand to listen to while driving is classical music. Although I was sort of raised on it thanks to my mom, I find it too fast past and rather nerve racking to listen to while driving. I know. I've tried it before! LOL Happy mylotting!

If its just me in the car I would listen to country. When my girls are in the car and they don't want to listen to anything I rather just have the radio off. Its nice to listen to how they are taking in the world around them as we drive by. If they do want to listen to music it is usually Hannah Montana. Best of both worlds or the hoe down. I like some of her songs so I don't mind listening to it also. I'm sure when they become teenagers it will be alot different.

I get annoyed at that-I'll have my windows down, enjoying the fresh air-and I try to keep my music low enough to not disturb others...and then someone will pull up with the bass booming or country blasting so loud that I can't hear my own-even with the windows up. Anyways, to answer your question-I love everything from Enya to Slipnot, yes even R&b and rap. I mostly listen to 80's music though.

I like rock music and anything you can sing along to but mostly I don't listen to music in the car if I am the driver because it is distracting. I have to concentrate all the time.

I like rap/hip hop stuff that has a lot of bass! I think it's because when your in a car with so little space the bass is even louder and stronger! I love the feeling and being able to sing along and it just gets you all worked up and happy!

I mostly like to listen to the radio that plays the new hits, I like to listen to new songs and maybe look for them later, I don't always listen to the radio though, when I have a couple of songs I like I just connect my iPod, and the kind of music depends pretty much from my moods.

I never listen to opera :),, but i would like to try. It depends on the occasion, when i go out riding with friends i used to play hiphop and rock, But when i went out with chicks, i normally play pop music.

It really depends on the road situation... if its monday to friday in the morning i listen to mellow music while going to work but if its heavy traffic i listen to disco, pop rock music... and if im driving for a very long trip i like country music it eases my tiredness and it makes me alive...
