How many no responses discussions do you have at the moment? Do you feel bad when you have discussions with no responses? When I try to write a discussion I always try to make it interesting for various type of people but I have quite a few which are still unanswered or have received few responses. I guess what might have seemed a brilliant idea at that moment, was not considered by the rest of mylotters.

I do have a few in the past.. BUt due to my friends and my mommy in mylot, i have build up quite a good rapport, and thus they will somehow make sure, i dun have any zero responses to it.. lol =D But initially, i will feel bad, because it seems that my discussion are not interesting at all.. BUt as time goes by, i have gotten used to it, and plus, i'm not a regular starter, thus most ple tend to not notice me.. hehe

Yes obviously i do feel bad because i submit one topic for discussion and if i do not get response let it either positive or negative then i will not clarity on the subject. Secondly it is like discouraging our my lot friends by ignoring such discussion topic.

I know exactly what you mean. I have that problem too when I don't get many responses. It's kind of a downer. I believe most of my post are interesting but I guess not to everyone!

I like to be the first responder so I go in search of people who have a dicussion with no responses. However, you would think that someone would thank you by being the first to respond for yours.

ronaldinu I just realized I do not have any no response discussions, but have some with only five or ten, mostly they were on diabetes which must not have been too popular among other people, although really perhaps people should look at these because there are millions of people out there that they say are diabetics and do not even know it.

I guess topics about specialised subjects might keep posters away! :)Thanks for sharing

Not really. I do not come here that often, anyway, so it is not an issue for me. Sometimes it is a matter of who, what, where, when, too. If you catch me at a moment and I have no time, or do not see the topic, that would do it.

As far as I am concerned, I will feel bad when my post has no responses . I will feel so depress to see that moment. If my post is so good and with no responses , I just want to ask them why and how can we get the more responses when I post some topics. Have a nice day.

It happens to anybody that even if you write a quality post it does not necessarily mean that you ll receive a lot of replies.

i will feel sad about it, especially when you expect your friends to respond on you but got nothing. it's the feeling of being ignored that im scared about. but if i deserve to be that, then ill accept the fact. XD

Yes, and it is rather bothersome. Like you I thought my discussion was really good, it was funny and I thought I would get a couple of goofy responses of people enjoying themselves, but it never happened. I am sorry no one responded to your discussions.

I do not have any no response discussions any more. When I did have some, several of us got together and took care of them for each of us. I may have some with small number of responses, but the only response that counts is that first one. Once you have the first response, you have a discussion. Otherwise, you do not have a discussion. I hope someone reads this and fixes the ones you have with no responses so that they come back in to play. On the ones that have a few responses, you can comment on those responses and others will see them again.

I've never had any discussions with no responses, but I think if I'm right, there was one time there was 1 and then my good friend answered it and then there was another one answering it, so that's cool, LOL..

Hi, ronaldinu! It only happened to me once, but it did feel really terrible! I was new to the site, and I didn't get any responses at all. I don't start discussions all that often, but most of them get quite a lot of responses, thankfully...

I have made quite a few discussions on mylot in my year or more of being on this site, and I would say I have at least ten discussions that never got any responses and some of them are old discussions and I always try to make my discussions long but also interesting so different people will want to respond to it and let me know their opinions on the subject, and yeah what we think is a good idea might not be a good idea to other mylotters, and it does make me feel kind of bad when a discussion of mine gets no responses, because it makes me wonder if I did not do it good or if it was just a stupid idea for a discussion.

There is that initial feeling of disappointment that makes me question whether I had made a smart decision to start that discussion in the first place. But at the same time, it enables me to evaluate my choices for posting discussions in the future that will generate as much response as possible. But in the end, it was nice sharing some insights and information that I have with others. So, it's still a win-win situation for me.

No I don't feel bad. To be honest there are so many discussions on here I don't have time to read everyone. I just look for the ones that pop out and speak to me. We have tons of interests and to look at everyone's topic there is not enough time in the day. Most of the time I do get a response and sometimes I don't. Just keep trying and don't let the no responses get to you. Maybe they will get back to you at another time.
