Does Rewards Help you Earn More Compared to Posts you make

The earnings from the 'rewards' are certainly a huge help towards reaching payout but I would not use them to bump up the amount and reach payout. I know that by adding a few comments or responses here and there I will earn a few cents and if I spent the same amount of time using the search function, I could not be certain that a reward would appear as they are random. If I win one then it seems to be luck on my side while posting is due to effort. I didn't use the tasks so I am really happy that there are now rewards for searching because I have alwqays used searches a lot!

I have used the search function quite a few times, and I have now earned a reward for it. There have been many times that I did not receive anything other than information from the search, which really is what I was looking for anyway, so it was not a wasted effort. On the other hand, I have only earned one reward for that many searches, so it really is not worth the effort to try to use it to help me reach payout, in my opinion. If I need to search something and happen to get a reward from it, then that is fantastic. Otherwise, I think that my time would much better be spent starting and responding to discussions and comments to try to earn and reach payout, because I am guaranteed to earn from those efforts as long as I follow the guidelines.

I think that the rewards system is nice, but it's random so we really don't know if we'll get money for searching or not. We could search all day and not get rewarded, so it's best to try to discuss and leave the rewards grabbing for when we're going to start a discussion and need to know if it's already been made.

No I would not rely only on the rewards program to earn here.I love to post my responses,that is what I am here for.I learn so many new things,there are so many people from around the world sharing their views,ideas and opinions out here.I love to interact with everyone.It broadens my horizons.But yes of course,the rewards is a huge addition to the community and a great one indeed.However I am trying to use the search function only when needed and not abuse the system to gain more money.I am happy with a reward of 14 cents that I won recently and I am pleased that I got it for using the search function in a constructive manner.In any case the rewards are not guaranteed so it is better to rely on posting and uploading for the greater part of your earnings,and then if the reward does come to you for using the search function properly,then nothing like it!

I would be a hypocrate if i said that earning an extra buck or two, won't help. But either you make it or you don't. So if not this month, maybe next month, you will be lucky. If i missed one payout and don't use the awards option, i will just kick myself.

Using the search engine is much easier than trying to make a post that is long enough to count! lol. I rely on both. I do tend to use the search engines alot so doing the searches is not a problem for me and I am tending at this time to get a handsome award every other day. Thank you Mylot!

Personally I am not really sure yet how this works, and was actually wondering how it all works myself. Even though I have been a member here for over 3 yrs. since due to other issues in life, like Health, etc. I am not here like I used too. But so far I have not really earned anything extra in the Rewards column yet, but interested to see how this all works in here as well.

To be honest I prefer participating in discussion rather than enrolling in a site that I know that I am never going to make us of. Though the tasks system is a good idea, I prefer discussions. The reward system might serve your purpose yes and I do udnerstand that it very easy to earn afew cents when you are near the minimum payout. That would help definitely

Bro, knowing what you mean; especially when short of a few cents for payout. If ever I do that, knowing that I'll short of a few before I hit the minimum, I will try my best to utilize the search function, but taking note not to 'abuse' it. I think by meaning of abusing the system is to keep on putting the same searches over and over again.. something like that. Otherwise, should be fine. The way I look at the rewards, it's in conjunction with discussion answering and commenting. They need to both go hand in hand instead of just using rewards to earn. 2 is better than 1..

i think it would be a help but not too much. besides there is a notice by the admin that there is a way to see if members will be abusing the search feature. so we better take precautions in using the search. though i already earned some cents in the rewards system, i will really not rely on it to earn more.

Hi sunny, I am yet to receive any reward.I have used the new search when I have to look for something, but so far no luck....And anyway we are supposed to use it naturally, and I never have used it before so, now I have to make an effort to do so...If one gets a reward every now and then, of course it does help...BTW have you got a reward? if so how much was it? i dont know the reward system rally works. i just searched for two sites in the search option and nothing rewarded. how it works? and how the few cents that we lay behind can be compensated using search option?

Hi Sunny, i need to figure out how i can maximize the use of mylot web search to earn points or rewards hehehehe. i am happy to say that since i first received my payout i am consistent on reaching or even exceeding it every month. i make it a point to reach it on the 15th of the month to the 20th so that the rest of the month i can be more relax because i made it already. thanks for the tip my dear friend!

IF we search related to our field of interest or related to any discussions, then we get rewards, i have got it in two time after the launch of the new version of mylot. Sometimes it gives good result. THe mylot search tool is really a great apart from earning rewards

I do not think that I would depend on the search rewards to meet my payout. Since I have searched several times and still not been rewarded. I think I would stick to what I know definitely earns and for me that is making discussions and posting responses to discussions. I will not give up on the searching though, hopefully I will get rewarded soon.

As the upgrade is still in its infancy, I have yet to feel the impact of it towards my earnings. The search engine is definitely an advantage as the income adds up fast with the help of the rewards. It makes reaching the minimum payout faster.

Well, I have received rewards few weeks from now, they were bigger than what I have receive now... But it really never come into my mind to rely on the search box for earning... as I have read the guidelines of rewards system, I am afraid to abuse the system... I I really never wanted to lose my account here...

I really don't need the rewards to make payout as I make ie every month just by posting, so I will continue doing just that. We really aren't supposed to use the search featire as of we are. amd mylot finds out, our accounts will be suspended withotu warning. I would just prefer not to bother with the rewards part of it and keep my account safe. I would rather do it without any help anyway, as it gives me something to strive for. I would be afraid that I might get suspended, and I am not willing to take that chance as I like it here to much, and I hope to stay for years to come. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

i think that earning money reling on the rewards coz easier than to make posts.although i stay here for long time every day. but making posts is limited.it seems difficult for me.

I wouldn't be relying on it Sunny. It's a game of chance and there is rule not to abuse the said thing. If you rely on it too much then I can defnitely say you wouldn't get the minimum payout every month. As you said it really helps when one is short of some cents to reach payout, other than that you wouldn't find me using the search bar just waiting for a chance to be rewarded. So far I got two rewards coming from it and the total reward so far is $.13
