Here's a photo of one of the many flowers etc I have planted in my yard. This is a lady's mantle. It is already blooming. It's still winter yet and it should not be blooming. But it's been in the high 40's and low 50's for a couple weeks straight and they are confused. Today it's over 70 and sunny. Lot's of things popping up. Still have frost to come as well as snow I am sure as it's only mid-March. Always get a storm in March here in Minnesota. Anything blooming WAY too early in your area this winter?

I noticed yesterday that some flowers I planted last year are coming up again, they were supposed to be annuals! I was very pleased to see them. My tulips are coming up, too.

Tulips and Daylilies are the first to pop through the ground each year.
As always.....

Very pretty..and yes some of my later bloomers are as confused as your lady. My Foxglove is under the impression that they should start showing off already. It was 60 here today and in the 50's all week. Snow is forecast for this weekend, we still have alot of frost to get through here in michigan, going to spend some time moving the leaf cover I depend on as a blanket to the plants that should still be dormant and hope they take the hint, I am hoping that if I can remove their light a little and keep their bases buried a while longer, they will go back to sleep.
This happened a couple of years ago and I couldn't stop it, but as soon as the plants bloomed too early, I cut them way back, and they did bloom again beautifully at the right time.

Yup we are due for the March snowstorm we get almost every year.
But I am getting a lot done while it's still nice enough outside.
I am so ready to plant things for my garden already.
A few of my seedlings are almost ready for transplanting too.
I always use mulch all year long on my flowers.
I just rake it all up and add a new layer.
I usually add about 3 inches mulch to my flower beds.
helps keep the moisture in the ground plus a great cover for wintertime.
As always.....

There are some flowers in the yard a few feet from my sun porch that are about to open up. I am not really sure what they are yet. Daffodils maybe. They are yellow. That much I can tell. The plant is about 10 -12 inches tall and there are about 8 buds about to open up.

Nope, none. Sunny days in the 60's, 70's and maybe warmer...

I have not noticed anything yet. It has been a little cooler than usual here, it seems.

All I've seen blooming is some snowdrops, which are right on schedule.
It was a lovely, warm day here, too, and I did some more yard cleanup today.
Boy, am I pooped!
