Here's a photo of one of the Zuchinni plants I started from seed. We still are getting near and below freezing temps at night. So I can not yet set them outside nor plant them. Won't be too long now though. Do you have any seedlings ready to be planted but can't? As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Nope, no seedlings started yet. We will still be cold for a little while. I often buy my plants already started. The stores do not have them yet. I am working on getting some places prepared for gardening though. I should be able to plant anything I want within the next two to three weeks. Gotta get a tiller and till up the area though. Oh, and some more soil because I am making my raised bed higher.

I try and start some seeds each year late Feb. or early March. A lot cheaper as I plant so much. We are renting a tiller this year I think. I usually dig and turn the soil/compost by hand but getting too old for that now I think. As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Homegrown zuchinni sounds yummy. I saw some puny zuchinni at the store, it was expensive and not very fresh. Happy gardening-soon.

Hello once again Grandpa Bob, it's like I am trying to give responses to your new discussion and found out that you like gardening, it's your hobby. And I think it's really nice that you enjoy gardening. My brother also likes gardening, unfortunately, I don't have talent for gardening. Maybe I can just ask my brother to teach me. . We have what we locally call ashitaba, it is a herbal plant that my brother and mother needs. That's why they have plenty of that at their home.

I don't have anything yet. I am still thinking about how I can handle a tomato plant and maybe a pepper plant or two. I am hoping to have an apartment soon and my problem will be solved! Looks like you're in for a good crop of squash this year!!

Wow they are doing well Grandpa Bob! I haven't started any seedlings I don't have anywhere to put them that they'd be undisturbed & would be exposed to sun.

Hi bob, i have been growing an egg plant here in my garden..It is about to flower and hopefully I should have the vegetable in 2 months time before the monsoon begins. the only problem is that because of the intense heat ( we are in the middle of summer here) I have to water the plant twice a day...Have a nice weekend

I dont think we will be planting our garden this year since it doesnt benefit us at the moment....but we do go to our local farmers market and support our local farmers --and still get fresh veggies which I cant wait until it opens next month. I think that is great that you got that much started already with the frigid temps I am sure you are still getting....good luck with your garden!! Happy Mylotting!
