What if your boyfriend/girlfriend is the crush of the town and sns sites?

How are you going to deal with it? Knowing that your boyfriend/girlfriend is the crush of the town and even in the internet and social networking sites. Would you feel insecure or proud? Almost all boys/girls like him/her and sending him/her private messages, he/she has a lot of admirers. I think the issue of trust and faithfulness will come in this situation. For you, you have to trust your boyfriend/girlfriend, while for him/her, he/she should be faithful to you. It would be really hard to have a boyfriend/girlfriend like that but as long as your boyfriend/girlfriend is assuring you that there's nothing to worry about and you are his/her only one, then I guess you should really be proud. Having a "crush of the town boyfriend/girlfriend" will really make us proud specially if he/she is really faithful to us. If it was my boyfriend i would really gloat about it. And i would trust him as i know he loves me. Trust and love, you cannot go wrong. Those two will make you proud of your partner. So what if everyone has a crush on that person, there is only one that person will love. TATA.@markmoney (2868)

Sweetie, let me explain it. We as women love to have friends. We do not call them admirers. And to try and take that away will be a wrong thing. I know her heart. So, you can relax. Yes, she is a very special girl, her kind is one in a lifetime. What I really like in her is she is always giving me assurance that I am her only one. Whenever I feel insecure, she will just say nothing to worry and she will let me feel that I am really special. Ok, my trust will always be with her. Thanks again saph! Take care!

Well, this will lead to a sort of possessiveness. I will find myself very possesive as this is also a love sort of thing. But i cant stop their freedom, i will talk to her about the way i feel, its her choice to decide. But surely i will tell her how i feel about it.

I probably won't mind, and I usually don't care if my partner is the crush ng bayan or crush of the town. That's just how it is. He looks good, he has a way with people. At the end of the day, he's with me and we show each other just how much we love and care for each other. As for social networking sites, this activity is something I might slightly monitor. Sending messages over the Internet might be harmful, and basically he can do whatever he wants. But i'm going to make sure he knows that i'm aware of what's going on.

I will never be jealous/insecure. I will definitely be proud of him. I have nothing to worry about. I trust him and I know he is faithful/loyal to me. And I won't let any of those girls touch him, just look.

markmoney I think its only human to feel a little like chopped liver when you boyfriend has so many admirerers and you feel like you are just standing in the line for kudos for him. but you need to reeve up your own self esteem then remember all the reasons why you love the popular guy, and trust he loves you too much to turn cold shoulder to you in favor of his admirers.trust and respect go hand in hand in a love relationship.
If you have enough trust and faith in your boyfriend you will survive for sure.

I think that if this was the situation, I would be a little bit jealous of my partner. I don't think that I would really be able to handle it because there is a green-eyed monster inside of me somewhere. When someone is highly admired by other people, then I always find that I have to question their fidelity. However, I've never had to deal with this, so I honestly don't know what my reaction would be in that situation.

It won't bother me at all, I should be proud of him,as long as he give the assurance to be his only one then let them be,its between partners who could understand inner feelings and situation,both should be very careful handling this kind of situation to make the relationship works well!

Trust is something that is earned not asked. Although no matter how hard one tries to show that he or she is worthy of it, the other one might still be blind to see that. If I am the partner of that crush of the town or the internet, I'll be proud of my partner.

My boyfriend has been a girl magnet since I knew him. At times, I get my head crazy when girls comes accross him. But Im so thankful, my boyfriend somewhat understands my insecurities that in a crowd, he holds my hand and never let me go. As if he's telling me to be comfortable that he is all mine.
