Oh man, I had no idea you were going through something like that. You know my back can cause me tremendous pain when I walk, but there is never any doubt, that I can walk without pain in my feet. I can't imagine how I would get along if my feet gave me so much trouble. I really hope they work. Let us know!

I will let you know how i get on with the boots, they did say that they take a bit of getting used to.I have suffered with a problem with my feet for nearlt two years now and i was told that i will always have this problem now.I will still take the pain killers, but i am trying not to aswell as the anti imflamitry pills that do not look like they are doing much, but anything is worth a try if you ask me.I also have a twisted spine and i know what you are saying as in a painful back as i find it is worse when it is cold.

The anti-inflammatory pills don't work for me either. Sometimes the pain catches me off guard. I'll be driving, and I fold over the steering wheel in pain. And then with the pain pills, I have to make sure I don't take too many, because if my body gets used to them, I'd have to take more. My back and neck were damaged ten years ago in a really bad car accident. But still yet, I think I have it easier than you do. Your poor feet!

wow good for you jugsjugs you will get your boots, they sound custom made to your feet. I have to wear special orthopedic boots too as I ruptured a tendon in my foot, it never got diagnosed til it was too late to operate on it so now I wear a brace on the boot of my left foot. this last time I got a different person who took the casts of my feet and after five trials to repair his errors the shoes still do not fit myf eet right.now I am stuck as my copay for a new pair would be about three hundred dollars the blasted things cost almost one thousand dollars but even at just three hundred if you do not have it, thats a lot of money. I need new shoes again but need to find the money first. hope yours come out really comfy and good fitting. before mine were always fit to my feet and no problems. but this pair have b een a total disaster.

Hatley, some places tell me that if you are diabetic you can get a free pair of shoes every year or maybe six months, would this type of thing have any bearing on your orthopedic shoes as well?

hi gardengerty it would if it were not for that darned built in brace which takes it out of the category of the free shoes, as I did try that but first they do not make casts of your feet and they do not do the braces. see my left foot had a ruptured tendon which my quack of a doctor did not diagnose right he called it a sprain, so by the time I got referred to a foot doctor the darned foot was deemed inoperable, so the foot doctor said special shoes with brace. they have to make casts of myfeet as the left one is badly misshapen., without the brace I would be literally walking on the inside of my foot, the built in brace pushes the foot back into more of a normal position but that foot will not fit into ordinary shoes. it has to be made to fit the foot, my left foot.If it were not for my darned left shoe I could indeed get free diabetic shoes., not fair but thats the way life is at times. shucks nellie.

I´m glad you will have adecuate boots for your feet. I know what it is to have feet that hurtand it is something you just cant explain to someone who doesnt have the problem. If they are as good as they seem to be, go dancing!!! When I find shoes that fit, I buy as many pairs as I can pay for. And I don´t care about fashion. People should look at my eyes, not at my feet.

I have an appointment to get mine looked at Friday. They are braces, but they sound about the same. I have had them for 3 years now, and they need updated. When I first got them they helped me a lot, and I could do a lot of things I couldn't before. Now, they don't help much. I am hopefull that after they are readjusted they will help a lot more.

jugsjugs, I am really sorry to learn of your health problems and I just would not fancy being in your shoes. Pardon the pun. I am not sure if those customized boots will be a relief as the sound of putting on a pair is already requiring a feat. But, I am hoping for your good anticipation and sake that it will aid with your needed reliefs. I've learned that fresh cherries are good for arthritis, gout and other joint inflammatory pains. So, you may want to consider this on top of your daily diet and medications. Read more: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/05/040510010724.htm Also, it is a known fact that apple cider vinegar could aid with relieving joint inflammations and in some cases bring about complete cures. So, you may want to consider this as well. Read more: http://www.arthritis-treatment-and-relief.com/vinegar-honey-arthritis.html http://www.naturalnews.com/026715_vinegar_apple_cider_vinegar_joint_pain.html My dad use to have terrible gout outbreaks and once his acidity level gets out of control, I can assure you that it can really spoil his day. However, once he started having fresh cherries and apple cider vinegar introduced into his diets, there wasn't one outbreak again until this day. I hope that the above tips will be helpful. Take care.

I really hope your new boots will give you some relief from your foot pain and get you up and out of the house. They sound like just the thing you need. I get heel pain once in awhile when I have even a little bit of walking in the wrong kind of shoes. That pain is horrible. I can't imagine having that type of pain all the time.

I'm so glad to know that you are getting these boots and I know you are, too! Two months is an awfully long time to wait on things like this. I hope you will enjoy them and that they will be comfortable. I don't know what I would do if I had to stay stuck in the house all the time. I have arthritis, too, but I don't have raynaud's or psoriasis. It's not to the point that I can't do anything much. Kathy.

I have pain in just about all of my joints. When it comes to my feet, my ankles are the ones that hurt in the achilles tendon and the front of the foot. I feel like I'm beginning to have the same problems mother had with her feet. She had bunions and sometimes my big toes hurt in that area. Raynaud's disease is where you stay cold all the time, isn't it? I've heard of it but I don't know what it is exactly. I just hope these boots will work out for you. Kathy.

Can you please share what medication[cream/ointment] you were advised for your Psoriasis? I am getting fed up with this because I am just unable to go for walks and I want to resume walking.I am getting sloppy with adding more than 3 kilos. Is arthritis another side effect of psoriasis?

Well, that sounds just grand. I had no idea they made such things. I had to have a piece made for my shoes because I have one leg just alittle shorter than the other. I was jogging seven miles a day then and getting horrible cramps in the muscles of the bottoms of my feet. Excrutiating pain. The shoe inserts were much better. I hope your boots are great and work for you.

My father suffers from arthritis and he always uses shoes that are not tight to his feet. He was operated on the knee, he has gouty arthritis and his right knee abscessed because the gout was so accumulated that it just bled. congrats on having a new boot. Hope you enjoy walking and traveling now that you are at ease with your feet.

good thing you costumized your shoe. because pain can make your disease much severe. goodluck to your recovery. :)
