Do you buy DVD's or do you just rent them? Do you go to the video store, use Redbox, or Netflix or Blockbuster on line or get them from the library?

We only buy DVD's of the movies we absolutely love. They are usually superhero type movies for the boys and love stories for me. The rest of the time we rent movies. We currently use Netflix. We get the three movies at a time deal. I really like Netflix. It is so easy and convenient. Especially now, since you can watch movies using your PS3 or Wii.

When I usually want a movie, I do not really go halfway with it. I always purchase the DVD. I do not want a time limit on how long I can view the tape. Most likely I would like to view the movie several times. Therefore buying the DVD will allow me to do this. People who rent them, yeah that is good, but I either want the movie or don't care enough to even sample it. Therefore renting is a waste of money for a movie that I might not be sure about so I might as well purchase the entire thing. Besides, perhaps it is fact that I do not like being on the timetable of another person but my own. I enjoy watching the DVD at my own time and just because I get one, does not mean I will be able to watch it right away. Therefore, renting it is not an option for me, as there is a time limit on that. If I buy it, then I could let it sit for months and then I can watch it at my leisure.

Mostly we get ours from Netflix or the Library. If there is a movie that I really want to see badly and I don't want to wait for Netflix or the library I will then go the Redbox, but they sometimes run out of the really good ones fast. I buy workout DVD's but I don't usually buy movies. We did have a local video store closing though and they had DVD's for .99 I did buy several at that sale. But normally I will not buy them.

I am a member of a movieclub. They have a website where I pick out the movies that I am interested in and then they send me the movies. I receive two dvd's each time and when I return them I receive the next dvd's on my list. The movieclub has quite a lot of international movies and I enjoy watching movies from many different countries. I also like to borrow dvd's at the library. It is pretty hard to get the popular movies, but sometimes I find some interesting movies at the library, and I like to have a look at the movies while I am there.

Nowadays I get my movies from the library. I just can't see spending that kind of money on a DVD. About the only time I'll buy a DVD is if it is a movie I just have to have.

I never buy DVDs .When you can download all good movies from the net why shud you go for buying one? Moreover it is much better to go to a multiplex to catch movies than investing on DVDs

I usually buy the movies that I want to watch. I find it incovienent to wait for delivery from Netflix or Blockbuster and a pain to have to return when renting from Redbox or a video store. So someone in the family will buy the DVD and then pass it from house to house until everyone that wanted to see it has had a chance. Think I will head out at lunch and buy the Blind Side. My hubby has been wanting to see it and so have I.
