Well, this really depends on my mood. I prefer red tomato sauce pastas for the most part. But if the mood strikes I like Fettucine Alfredo with grilled chicken. Other times I like gnocchi with four cheese sauce. Still other times I like lasagna or ravioli or tortellini. Another great thing with eating pasta is that it is usually very economical to serve! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

My favorite pasta is gnocchi. I grew up with it - the best kind is the ones my mom used to make by hand. I've never tasted better gnocchi!

Hi, I just thought I would mention a pasta dish that's popular in my household. We call it "savory vermacelli". You will like it if you like three things: pasta, eggs, onions. You will need: 1 egg per serving of pasta 1/2 onion per serving, coarsly chopped 1 t. parsley per serving onion salt pepper margerine or olive oil, small amount milk Prepare pasta, (we use angel hair thin spaghetti). Drain and set aside. In large, non stick large pan, melt 1 stick marg or you can use olive oil. Add chopped onions and saute' until translucent. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, parsley, (as you would for scrambled eggs) Add your cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat with the marg or oil. Turn heat to med high. Pour egg mixture over pasta and cook until eggs are set, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add onion salt and pepper to taste. serve hot this is a simple, peasant style dish that is different and delicious if you like eggs and onions. My son loves to put Louisianna hot sauce on his. smiles, ink

Thanks karlle, for the best response. I should mention that this recipe is very forgiving and alterable to suit your tastes, (I often add a generous amount of italian seasoning to the mix), so this is a dish that's easy to experiment with. I usually make a ton of this and just put leftovers in a large food bag and into the fridge. Because it nukes so well, we take out what we want and snack on it until it's gone. I like mine with butter and more onion salt, yum! Thanks again and smiles, ink

Probably lasagnia if it is made right. Some people and restaurants make really good lasagnia but some don't make it that great. But a good lasagnia is almost unbeatable. Second I would say manicotti or raviolli, then good old sphaghetti with meat sauce. Some days the only thing that sounds good is just some nice good spaghetti and meat sauce.

While I love all types of pasta and pasta recipes, Id say my favorite would have to be spaghetti and meatballs, BUT I prefer to have it with angel hair (capellini) rather than spaghetti. I like the feel to the tooth better, and also, since it's so thin, feels like more.

I made pasts bolognaise tonight and it has to be my favorite pasta dish. I tend not to use spaghetti because it can get a bit messy with the kids so I usually make it with spirals ot macaroni.

I like lasagna, but it has to be made with ricotta cheese. I also love other pasta dishes if they have tomato sauce in them and the tomato sauce has to contain oregano and fennel seed. I do not like cheese pasta dishes like macaroni and cheese. If there is cheese, it has to be as an addition and not overpowering. I also like substituting chicken or ground chicken for ground beef, but still has to have the tomato sauce - the Italian kind, no tomato soup substitutes by the way.

Hello! My favourite pasta dish is tagliatelle carbonara! I just love this dish! However, i cannot prepare it by myself! I usually buy half-prepared sauce and then just pour cream and water and then my pasta is ready! Happy mylotting!

We had spaghetti bolognese tonight but whenever I dine out, I normally order either pesto or lasagna. Why? Well because I seldom prepare pesto and lasagna at home

It is very difficult to choose, as I love pasta in all of its varieties. I like specially tortellini, and about the sauce, I like specially pesto sauce. However, that's not the only pasta I like, there are many great dishes that include pasta, like lasagna for example. Pasta always make everything taste good

Honestly speaking I really do not like all these fancy pasta recipes and never have it outside as I usually do not like the taste of it. I make it at home in my own style. I use chopped blanced carrots and beans, spring onions, mushrooms and stir fry it for some time in refined oil as I do not like olive oil. I boil the pasta for 10 mins and then mix these with all the above vegetables sometimes I do use leftover chicken if I have it. It comes out really tasty and I do love it. Take care and keep smiling
