What you think about

i am also one that annoys seeing a lot of discussions started by one member, a lot of discussions each day, everyday. i ask, how can they comment back to those numerous discussions. they really have no time to respond to ours. there are even those members whom, how much you make yourself being noticed, by responding to all of their discussions, you cannot see them responding, even once. and yes, not all those discussions keep alive, a few of them goes to trash bin. but since i know most of them are having violations, i prefer not to response and don't want my time wasted. i have never tried and experienced it.. This is my first week actually and i am aware of rules and agreement of mylot... I know I will be accounted for it if i would do such inappropriate thing in mylot.. What i wanted to do then is to delete my own discussion started where i think not even interesting or so.. As a new user of course i thrive to make and post nice discussion. And i hope it does not offend anybody..

I too would like people to give more to their discussion rather than a fly pass. Good discussions make the base of this site. While one-liners seem easy to start and respond, they are discussions not at all. I support your vision. Giving BRs will still be difficult for me though, especially when the quality of responses is on very high side.

yes I know of one mylotter in particular who made some fifteen in just twenty minutes and several of them were deleted.,.the rest really were almost daring anyone to answer as this person seemed to have but one answer already. He did manage to comment on some of his discussions but not on all of them. I wish people would make fewer ones and ones that do not break any my lot rules, then comment on our responses to them.

dear professor, i was envying those who post that kind of number discussions but its pretty obvious some of those get deleted because of disobeying guideline rules. i'll be justifying but maybe they post without really analyzing? i find your ways (the one week span) good. that way, you are sure your responses are counted. have a nice day, ann

I often wonder how people are able to start several discussions in a single day, but then I do realize that they don't spend the time with the discussion that they probably should devote to the discussion. This is actually one thing that drives me nuts on here. Now, I will admit that I am the kind of mylotter that takes a very long time to choose a best response on my discussions, but I do make sure and respond to every comment that is left for me and I do learn a lot from the discussions that I've taken the time to start.

I too have seen this. The moment they become members, some people think that they have to post lot of discussions and do not think about comments and responses. If we tell also, they do not give importance for our words.

I agree with you.I would much prefer to start fewer discussions on topics that i feel are worth discussing rather than fill pages ...One or two discussions a day is alright.But starting a dozen discussions is according to me a very tedious task and to be frank I cannot think of so may discussion topics....

I share the same sentiment with you Professor2010. I even noticed that my earnings decreased probably because my posts or response was deleted. It can be a little frustrating sometimes but I guess we just have to abide by their rules.

Aww, from the time I created an account here in mylot, I've had two discussions deleted which made me sad. Anyways, those were the times that I am not fully familiar with mylot's guidelines.
