and I am very upset that People like this are about
I am now going to be finding things out about my Landlord and the so called Estate Agent which of all a sudden seems to have disappeared, I shall be contacting their Head Office to find out if this Person ever worked for them
Again I got messages from the Landlord why is my Money not there, hey hang on it is not going out of my Account till 30th of each month, he tries to tell me not good enough, he wants it in his account by the first, I told him no chance, I do not get my Money from the Disability and that till the end so that is when it goes to him
I then asked him any news on the Decorating and that he said no
So I said to him, fine I have had enough, I will look into this why should I pay full rent and the Place looks a tip decorating wise
I don't care any more he is NOT treating me like this I have had enough and will now take every step that I have to take to get this B to get things sorted
I am angry the Council is not much help they keep saying yes we will see to it and they are not a piece of sh*t on the ground to trampled all over and I will also find out about getting help on this now from proper Sources
But right now I am crying my eyes out because I am so angry, tired and stressed out with this Landlord
He has no right to keep texting me, it should be put in writing and I have told him that, he ignores that point
The thing is if I do not reply to him he will call and call or text, I can't turn my Mobile of as both my Son and Daughter call me on it as it is to expensive for them to call my Land line, why should I turn it of though, he should not be contacting me by Phone
I have had it, no I do not want to move right now again, the last move nearly killed me and I am still trying to get finances sorted after that move, also it is not easy any more
to get somewhere with a Dog, I rather live on the Streets then give up my Gissi
Also the Area is nice, it is quiet and the Field is so handy here for little Gissi
So I guess I am going to fight
Sorry I just needed to get this out of my System, I am so mad about it all, I suppose more mad at the fact that People can treat People like this, he is an a**hole and I could really do without this but I can not live any longer with the decorating like this doors badly damaged, no matter how much I scrub them apart from the paint coming of it looks no different the dirt is still there
Why do Landlords get away with this ????

I just go home from court about half and hour ago and found this in my email..........
I have emailed your Council Tenant Representative on your behalf. You should be hearing from someone soon, so dry your eyes and put on your boxing gloves. You have me fighting for you now too.....................

Bless your heart, i'm sooo sorry u are being treated this way.It's so unfair but seems as if people get away w/alot of unfair things. I think people owning rental property should have standards to go by but they don't seem to have any sometimes or pride in what they have. All they want is that money every month. I was afraid u would have trouble when u went on & moved in w/the promise of the place being decorated later. A man's word use to mean something to them but seems as if this has gone by the wayside as so many things have. I hope things work out in your favor, Gabs. GOOD LUCK. HUGS.

Well I should have known better but thought it would be worth a chance also though it would have been so much Hassle with all the Paper work and that to cancel the Move because he did not have the Flat ready, he left it 48 before I was due to move which also was a Saturday night to tell me the Place is not ready and so on, I could not cancel the Mover I would have still had to pay him I had already paid my Bond money and everything
I think he planned this to be honest but I will not let him walk all over me

Oh Gabs, bless your heart. Do you think this other person took off with your money and did not pay the landlord your rent? I sure hope this is not the case. If it is then this is not your problem, it is his! He is the one that hired him not you! He needs to stop harassing you. What he needs to do is find the jerk that bilked him out of the rent money. Tell him that what the other guy did is not your problem he hired him not you.
That he needs to find him and leave you alone about it.
That he needs to stop blowing up your phone.
Stop accepting his calls.
Maybe for a bit even block his calls if you need to. He knew when he rented to you when you got your checks.
Go to those advocates and be forward with them, get in their faces if you have to. Is there any other advocates for the elderly there that can help you?
Here they have a tv station that get involved with people that have been done wrong by anyone...landlords, businesses, etc.
They will call then, go see them, ask questions...basically get down on them and find out why this or that is happening or why this has been done or not done to or for this person.
They try to and usually do get things straightened out. Because they air everything on tv that they do when they are trying to fix the problem. lol
I hope you have some type of advocacy like this there.
Chin up...think and go to the news papers, the mayor, tv or anyone that you think may help you. You never know unless you ask.

Hi Moon, no the Money goes direct into the Landlords, well actually into his Wifes or Sisters account as it is going to a D R the Agency I still have to ring the Headoffice to find it if this office in London was genuine because it was a private House and like I said the answering Machine is now just a normal one not like it used to be with

firstly, you have rights as a tenant. He should not be infringing your privacy by constantly phoning or texting you. Save his texts in case you need them as evidence. If no joy contacting the local council, find out who your local councillor is. they will have that information at the council and are duty bound to give you that information. Next also , after the election , find out who your local MP is. He or she should be able to give the proper legal advice.
Again you have rights as a tenant, he should not be frightening you like this. I know you can't face him down and be tough with him as both you and dear Gissi are ill. But i used to be a local councillor and know how these landlords intimidate their tenants. If you can, try and contact the citizens advice bureau. They do give good advice but sadly these days, have limited funding so can't open 24/7. BE strong and positive if you can Gabs, don't the b******s get you down. hugs

hi gabs I am so glad you have a place to rant a bit so we can tell
you not to get too stressed out. your landlord sounds like a real jerk but then I have got to the point where I have seen most of them are
like that. In a way I was almost glad we got evicted. the gas man\\
told me that the furnace in that apt. was obsolete and not working
properly and if we used as it was it could either blow up or catch on
fire.so that was a place to get out of and they wanted 1200 dollars a month for that old apartment, outrageous.Do you have a bureau where you
can go to complain about all those problems as it seems to me he should have had all that done before you moved in. I wish I knew why landlords
get away with all that they do. the jerk we had had an eviction notice all made out before my son had hardly told him he had been laid off. boy all heart these landlords.No gabs dont you ever give up Gissi, he belongs to you, and something is going to turn up to right all this crap for you.I am going to pray for it to happen and maybe other mylotters will to then we will have the prayer power to fix mr jerk landlord. hugs from hatley.

My guess is it's because so few folks stand up to them, & then, sometimes, it's because the people who are supposed to help you fight this sort of thing are overworked & underpaid, so they don't care or don't have enough time to care, or they're incompetent, or even getting money under the table.
Hun, I completely understand your anger, but try not to let this guy get to you. With your health, it's just not a good idea. I realize it's not fair. Life's not usually "fair." But you need help. I strongly recommend praying for a good solution, & for peace in your heart. I've added mine to the mix. Nothing could be better than a good solution, right? Well, maybe one thing. Pray for your landlord that God will warm up his heart. Then everyone wins!

Well Sparks Email to the Council helped they rang the next morning and are coming to me on Tuesday to check out the Gas heating and that so we will see from there
To be honest I am expecting a Letter from him or a Text to give me notice, but that is up to him, as then he will get no money at all s no one would take the Place like this
I am the 4th Tenant in here in 2 years because of how he is well I am not letting him get away with it

It may be worth threatening the landlord with calling the police and telling them he is harassing you.
Keep on at the council, I know they are rubbish but sometimes if you bother them enough they help so you'll leave them alone. I'm so sorry this move has caused you so much stress.
Try googling tennants association and see if there is anything in your area that can help. Also try disability rights, they may be able to help. DIAL, can't remember what that stands for, but they are another organisation that may be able to help. I can't promise any of these will help but they are worth a try.

Hi Nannacroc I am scared to go that far in case he gets rid of me out of the Flat, also I am now worried about my Bond Money as he refused to put anything in writing, I have done a List and sent a Copy to the Address of the so called 'Estate Agent' I shall send it by recorded Delivery
I have looked at some of the Links and I will certainly look into them more

First, take a deep breath. Ok, Now look around your community and other resources where you can report your landlord for harassment and emotional abuse. He should not be contacting you over and over in the fashion he has been doing. Do not delete the text messages and make notes of every phone call you receive from him. This will show a pattern of abuse and harassment. Also, check your computer laws as he may have violated the law by using an electronic device to commit a crime. Your rent is due on a certain date and he should not be bullying you to pay it early. If he is harassing you, he is most likely harassing other tenants. Turn him in to the authorities. You have a right to live a quiet, undisturbed life.
As for the condition of the apartment, take pictures and document everything, then contact the housing authorities in your area and ask them to come check the peeling paint and the dirt that won't come off for harmful chemicals. If it is written into your contract that these repairs are to be done, then get a lawyer or judge to inform the landlord by official letter that he has breached his contract and could be sued unless he lives up to the agreement.

They say unless the Texts are threatening which they are not, he is entitled to ask for his money, well I always thought that is to be done by Letter and then only if you are a Month in Areas not 8 Days well I will see

I am sorry that you are going through all this. Your landlord is really a jerk isn't he? By council are you saying that you have already filed a complaint with the housing authority in your area? As for not paying full rent, you can do that under certain circumstances and there is a procedure you have to follow. I can't remember exactly how that works but if you call the housing in your city, they should be able to help. I am glad that you are fighting this. So many people just don't stand up to these types of landlords and that is why they get away with all that they do. As for him continuing to call you and text you....call the police on him. That is harrassment. You told him to stop and he continues. Good luck, gabs. I hope today goes better for you.

Oh I have paid the Full rent it was just a bit late and he is saying that the rent pays for his Mortgage well sorry but the Rent at the moment should be doing the Flat up and not pay his Mortgage his Salary should do that
There is something really strange about all of this and I will get to the bottom of it
He is messing with the wrong Person, also he never puts anything in writing
The Council is coming to see me next Tuesday after receiving an Email from Sparks, so amazing I have been trying to get them to help me on this and been fobbed of then someone from a different Country writes and they spring into action straight away

I know he didn't!!! He is weigh out of line for doing that! Here, our landlord, was entirely pissed that our neighbor from downstairs came to our apartment after 10 p.m. last week. I think this guy was stoned drunk! So, if she did not like it, I know that your landlord is out of place for doing this. This man is really trying to irk your nerves! Oh gabs, I am so sorry you are goon through this! Fancy texting you all the time, it’s an invasion it is really is! What is the point in him continually asking for the money if he knows darn well that you cannot pay him until the first of the month! You can’t get blood out of a stone! He sounds like a complete a**e***e! As far as the condition of the place…You keep fighting him! I’ve had landlords like that in the past, they don’t want to lose you either so there’s a good chance he’ll come around. Is there a body you can turn to in your country like Consumer Protection or something similar?

Geez, Gabs, I hate to hear all this. Haven't you had enough crap for one life time?
Just take time to breath and think twice before you do something irrational.
You have to have a home. The deco can wait for a while longer if need be.
Still, be strong when you call and confront. Make them see you are a worthy competitor and you deserve to get what you've paid for.

I will not do anything irrational, but he still has not provided the Gas Health Certificate which is Law so tomorrow I am back onto the Council
I hate the Place looking like this, he said he will do it this month and now again no well I am sick of it, the Heating is still not fixed so I will take it further as also I think something strange is going on, if he kicks me out the Council will take action and he can not just kick me out like that

kick your friggen Landlord's azz! Me and Gissi could really let
him have it but good and I'm sure between me and Gissi we would
have him begging for mercy in not time at all! I wish you would
have mentioned this to me yesterday when we "chatted"! I can't
tell you how incredible that was! I told all my friends that I
finally got to speak to one of my bestest friends from "mylot"
which has always been a mystery to them and they couldn't
understand how someone I met maybe 2-3 years ago would call me
all the way from England! That was the ultimate for me Gabs! I
was happier than I have been ever just to have heard your voice
and Gissi (even though he waa a bit sleepy, but adorable anyway)!
Our talk was so special and it meant so much to me and I couldn't
feel any closer to anyone on the lot! Well, except a few of
those that we spoke of and you know who I'm referring too!lol
I love you and Gissi so much Gabs, and know that you can call or
email me anytime of the day or night! (as you found out I am
awake!) Please don't fret about this Landlord thing! It will be

I hope just getting this off your chest helped. I don't know the laws where you live, can you get a hold of the parent company? Maybe contact the local paper and write the editor that helps here where people's reputation when they are in business in important.

Gaby..They do it, because they can. Tell me, did you get in writing anywhere that he would make these improvements for you? If you did, you can stop paying your rent until they are done. At least here in the states you can. Here, what you do is deposit your rent into an escrow account until such time that the promises made are satisfied. The courts here say that as long as you deposit your rent into escrow, you are not in default and therefore can not be evicted for non payment. If you didn't get anything in writing than I dont know what you can do but surely there must be something. Do you have a legal aid service over there? Here, they are a free legal advice service and they specialize in landlord/tennant problems. If you don't have that, you must have something similar that you can consult. I know the laws are different there from here but surely your rights as a tennant are protected somewhere, somehow. Usually non payment of rent and the depositing of it into escrow gets them moving. You have to light a fire under his a** somehow..Let me know..j

I will again phone the Council tomorrow I need help on this, I shall also phone the Disability Office and see if they can suggest anything

Oh sweetie. Do you feel better after having written it down? Sometimes it just feels good to complain a little. Don't cry. Breathe. Things usually have a way of working out.
I wouldn't give up my dog either. I had a hard time finding a place to live that would allow my dog. But she's my baby, I can't give her up.
Your landlord sounds a little mean but maybe he's just trying to do his job. You should try talking things out calmly. Wouldn't hurt to go over his head and contact someone higher up either. Don't let him walk all over you and hurt you, but remember you don't want to upset him and get kicked out either!
I hope and pray things work out for you and that you don't have to move.
Take Gissi out and try and have a good rest of your day. Don't let things stress you out too much ok?

As for the Landlord, he is a rip of merchant what he is doing is against the Law
I will be going through the proper Channels, he can not kick me out without a good reason
He is not a Person you can talk to as he ignores my Calls Letters or any contact I try
I can't take Gissi out lol it is 9.45pm and we are going to bed soon lol
I shall loose myself in my book lol
