HI guys, for those who have been reading my previous posts and answering them I guess you have known by now that I have been thinking of adding a new pet in the house. Aside from my JRT I am thinking of adding three more! Lol I know this may sound a whole lot but if I could have all of them I would! NOw I have been browsing the internet and I found cute adorable pets for sale in the net within my country I would like to know if it's safe to buy dogs online? Have you had an experience doing this? Hope you could share.

I would really reccomend checking out the animal in person first. It's very easy for people to sell animals with various health conditions to you and you would be none the wiser. Also it would be a good idea to visit the owner and ask them various questions in person i.e. the vaccinations that the dogs have been given and also to find out the nature of the dog.

Thank you so much for the advice. I think this is a wise one. Yup I guess we cannot tell the dog's temperament or overall health just by looking at the pic. I wish though they were located near me but they are not. They are too far away and that would be very expensive. The breeders around my place are scarce and if they have pups to sell it costs a fortune!

Believe it or not, there are a lot of scams involved with buying pets online. So, you might be able to find a pet that you are interested in online, but I definitely wouldn't commit to it until you had the opportunity to go see the pet in person. There is actually another reason for this as well, you also would want to see if the pet that you are planning on adding to your family is a good match for the one that you already have. Some animals just aren't able to get along. So, make sure that the animal really exists and that it will be able to get along with your JRT and keep your finances safe.

As far as I am concerned, I think it is not so safe for us to buy the dog through the Internest, which I think we may get the chance to buy a fake dog ,which is not related to the one that we want to buy onilne. So if want to just a dog in that kind, I think we should go to the dog supermarket, where there are a lot of dog ,which may be not so expensive foor us.

In my opinion it's safe as long as you buy it from petshop and avoid buying it from someone you didn't know because sometimes some dogs and they selling it so if you want to buy a dog via online, my advice is buy it from online petshops.

My husband and I found our dog on the internet. A picture and a description was not enough to decide if it was the right dog for us or not, but the picture gave us the first impression of the dog. We called the owner and asked him some questions about the dog. He lived in the other end of the country so we couldn't just go and see the dog, but we arranged to go there when the dog was old enough to get a new home. When we got there we finally got the chance to see the dog, and we were sure that we wanted to buy it.
