Unable to Post Content, Run time error application. ugh.

Whew I finally got back on Mylot, and was wondering if it was just me or have others had this too, all of a sudden in working from myemail to mylot I got the same thing over and over run time error, and it was only on mylot. No matter what I tried to do I kept this run time thing, I think it went on for a good twenty five minutes then lo and behold I am back on mylot and got a Unable to Post Content try again. so I tried again and wonder of wonders it did load this time. So curious did anyone else have
similar troubles just now?
I am glad it did not last any longer but hope it was not anything to do with my browser.

I just double posted again, like I do all the time. I feel special. I gave that bug to MyLot though, cause they just posted a message to me 16 times.

Sorry that you are having that problem Hatley. I haven't noticed it, but then again I haven't been on too much lately. My husband and I are caring for his dad now, who is in the final stages of COPD. It's so sad. Coming here for the few minutes that I do, being here is like an island to retreat to. It really helps with the stress right now.

Hi, Hatley. I am sorry that you had to experience this.
I went through this in the past. I also have seen this happen, sometime last month. I found out that it was just an annoying glitch in the myLot's system. No need to worry. I did not went through this any time today or yesterday. I do hope that you don't get this problem anymore. Hopefully, myLot will see it and correct it as fast as they can.

hi cream thank goodness it only lasted about twenty minute and
was just a glitch on my lot. A lotof others who were trying to
get on around noon had the same problem so I am glad it was
not my computer. as it is I was off all day til just now as
there was some kind of glitch that would not let me get on
the internet. I phoned my son the computer nerd and he got it
all fixed up for me so how I can mylot again.

hi ybong007 well it was right at noon and a lot of others did
have the same problems so probably waS just here in the US
but it was fixed in twenty five minutes so good. then I could
not even get on the net today so had to p;hone my son and he
just left a little while ago, he really fixed it so now I can
mylot again its almost eight oclock Wed eve here. lol

I got the same problem last night to, I was trying to reply when I got it, so I refreshed and then I got it again. So then I closed the discussion page I had open, and tried to access through my favorites, and once again it was there, so I gave up.

twenty five minutes but I did finally get on and then had a 404
page but it disappeared and I found my response that I thought I had lost so could put it through. then had real computer problems today so my son c came and repaired it so I could get on the net tonight.

I was not online when it happened evidently. I did get a timed out error while I was away at the computer. I did, however, just get sixteen messages about a deleted response to a discussion. All the same discussion. I did not lose sixteen points. I never respond sixteen times to a discussion unless it is my own. Feel like this is making up for all those repeated multiple posts I manage to make.

oh my gosh GardenGerty 16 well I am glad you did not lose 16 responses 
so weird things were happening here on our mylot. yeah how about that, that'should exonerate you from your multiple posts. I havent had that now for several days but got one that repeated three times so I hit the report button and told mylot admins what had happened to me.

hi ElicBxn yes I tried other sites and everything was fine so it was
'just on mylot and the same old thing runtime errror, and I knew it
was not my browser.so it was only about twenty five minutes as near
as I could figure. I had gone back to bed after breakfast as I was still so sleepy so did not get as much mylotting done as usual. but thats okay.

Hi there Hatley! I hate those run time errors! It wasn't just you, as I'm sure others have already told you. Websites go down from time to time and it's such a pain when that happens. I used a couple of online databases when I was working for the railroad and it upset my routine so much when one of the sites went down. Everything had to be shuffled around...made me cranky for sure.

hi spalladino oh yes a lot of others have had it happened today
too, so finally did get back on, then got a 404 page error and that funny message about the poor fellow trying to fix the error , really kind of cute, and eureka I did get my page back and my response had not been lost after all. just an odd day.I can imagine how frustrating it would have been on online databases to get thos runtime errors. wow.

its likely because mylot was busy deleting a bunch of discussions and sending out notifications. i just got on and found another notification about a deleted discussion id responded to. so i think maybe i will just not jump into the ones that discuss a deleted discussion because those in turn get deleted also...

hibunnybon wow that could have been it, the last few days I have really steered around anything that looked iffy and this one poor newbie did not have even one answer but he had broken two mylot rules and we are all learning not to lose our responses. if only they would just read all the information.that's right discussing a deleted discussion can just get you right back into the soup. anyway the runtime error did not last too long so that was good.

hi savak this was definitely a mylot glitch asI had no p roblem with any other of my sites and it lasted maybe twenty to twenty five minutes
about lunch time.so it w as not my internet signal and I am on jack rabbit cable so it runs fast most of the time.

i have encounter that too , maybe about two months ago. it is hard for me to post the content then i never try again till now. i do not know exactly what had happened, sometimes my internet provider run so slow. i thought maybe because of that

I never have had this to happen to me. However, I don't get on here until late most of the time. Like I told Opal in another discussion, I've always been a night owl, anyway. I have started to respond to discussions that were deleted because they violated mylot's rules. I've also had some responses deleted because the discussion was deleted.

hi cyrus it happened around noon yesterday and could not get
on for twenty five minutes then it was fixed, then this morning
to my dismay I could not get on the internet. I called the cable comp;nay but it was nothing to do with the cable, so phoned my son and he came after dinner tonight and just left, but he got it fixed so am now mylotting and oh my I have at least a hundred notifications so am not going to be able to get all done tonight. the trouble with haveing a
roommate I cannot stay up til late like one or two in the morning like I used to. sigh.

It sounds like you really have had some problems here lately. Twenty-five hours is a long time not to be able to get on the internet. I can't imagine not being able to get on for that long. That was all day and one hour, wasn't it? I'm just glad your son came and straightened it out for you.

hi lazerm oh mylot had it too really as I could not get back
on mylot for a good twenty minutes as all I got was
the run time error. oh yes I was thinking about that when
it took mylot forever to fix it and one could not load
discussions. wow. glad this was over quickly.

No, it was not just you. I was also having trouble posting on mylot. I tired several times to respond to a discussion and finally just gave up. The first time trying again was now...
I hope this one goes through. I hate typing all of what I do just to have it disappear.
So here goes....

hi moondancer glad I was not alone, and I tried all sorts of ways
to get backon mylot and kept getting that runtime error from all
my attempts. and I too lost a response to something called 404
error and the cutest message about how the poor repairman could
not help it.

Hi Hatley,
I don't think it was your browser. It happened to me earlier also. I tried a couple of times. Then I tried to get on a couple othe sites that I go on and had no problem so I figured it was just mylot. It was my signal to get up and go fix dinner and finish up my laundry. I don't know how long it was down but when I finally came back it was up and running again.

hi sid nope it had to be mylot as I went to other sites no problem but all the different ways to get on mylot all had that same page runtime error so waited it out, took about twenty five minutes give or take a
few. glad it got fixed.

hi fwidman where have you been havent see you around no you missed it, it lasted maybe twenty five minutes and all you could get was runtime error no matter how you tried to get on my lot. it is okay now so can get caught up a bit.

I have not been on Mylot for a while today so I won't know if there was any problems, it that happened to me I would have been pulling my hair out and thinking if I'd something wrong, well at least you are here now and all is well, hugs.

hi tamarafireheart no its all over now this was several hours or more back and kept get this runtime error then when I did get on I lost my first response to a 404 error page and the cutest message from the repair person saying how he was trying so hard to fix the error but after all hes only human and it went on like that getting funnier then it changed back to my page and there was my resp;onse so finally did get it posted. the whole thing only lasted about twenty five minutes, it just seemed longer.

Hey Hatley! I have experienced this from time to time and have
no idea what this means or why it happens! But, it sure is a
major pain! I hate that I have just type an entire response
and then I have to try to remember what I just typed and, of
course, you can never remember exactly what you said the first
time so it kind of ruins the effect! I don't know if it has to
do with my computer or mylot or yahoo since I also respond from
my emails I just with that it would get straightened out already!
