Did you get your census form? Did you send it in? If not, here is a link that will take you to addresses and phone numbers of the Census Offices.http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/how-to-apply/local-office-map.php?x=1465&y=816&state=AL&zoom_level=200 These folks should be able to answer any questions that you have. They may even be able to tell you if your form was received. The census every ten years is used to determine political boundaries, how many representatives you have, what federal funding comes to your area for schools and roads, etc. It is important to have everyone counted. They keep your information confidential.

hi garden gerty so far I have received no census form and have no idea how they do this for a retirement center? I would hope each of us gets a form and we can fill this our ourselves as the admins. here has no idea of who my parents were or where they were born. I had done my family tree back many generations so I have all the stats if they just give me my form.

We only received one form and there were two families at the same mailing address so we got to see a census taker, she was very nice and it took about 15 min. to finish both forms that were needed..

It came and I forget to send it in, but the Census people have already been by to see me so I have been counted.

Nuts - I filled out my form and sent it in the mail. Of course, the postal system in my town has a severe case of Schizophrenia (Postalphrenia?) and it's even chances if that form gets where it needs to go.

Nope, we weren't missed! I filled ours out right away and sent it back. I don't understand what's so hard in doing that with some people because it's so easily done. It helps the community to get the funding that we need and when one doesn't send it back, the funding is short and then they feel they have a right to complain? I don't get it.
