Hi yugasini garu Same pinch here too. I will very well remember peanut things and forget mountains. Once i travelled by train from my native place to my existing place but while alighting as usual I forgot one thing. This time it was my handbag and went home. After reaching home i searched for some money to give the auto driver but bag was missing then immediately i rushed to the station, but did not found it

Thank you for your helping nature but now a days i am a little bit cautious while travelling but became more absent minded at home and memory power is decreasing day by day. May be due to the increasing of my age, my forgetfulness is also increasing accordingly. Thanks for your response

Everybody do forget, and sometimes absent-minded. This is true especially when you age, this things happen more frequently. In my case, I am always the last to leave the house and I have to go around the house checking things that needs to be checked especially electricity, flat iron or stove, and water continuously running after having the daily hygiene. On my way out, sometimes I still forget my wallet, my cap, and even my eyeglasses that makes me do another trip back home. Quite frustrating sometimes.

Hi webzap Fogetfulness may be due to so many reasons. When we are aged it is common, secondly when there is tension and stress then also we will not be able to remember things. When we are in a hurry to the office, we will be searching for the car keys and wallet or Identity Card. I think in every household these are the common things as far as i noticed

Oh Vatsala, I have been forgetful to an extent, which I always attributed to my being under stress. Of late, however, I seem to find more signs of it. And I am reading a lot about Alzhiemers, dementia and such stuff, which is scaring me a lot. In a way, Alzhiemer would be a relief, because I couldnt be hurt by anybody - mentally, and my muscular atrophy wouldnt give me much chance to feel the pain as well. But dependence on others would be scary. Yes, I am concerned about it. But I am told it is natural to be so forgetful at this stage of life. Things improve after a couple of years.

Oh yes, stress contributes to our being forgetful especially if a lot of problems is flooding our mind.

Hi vandana yes. If we have stress and tension, we may tend to forget things. As our age advances, then also it is common. Do not scare for alzhiemer, or dementia or such stuff. It occurs due to over stress or some other major problem or some neurological factors. Your forgetfulness is a cause of stress

This forgetfulness is unavoidable to all after the age of 40. It goes on increasing after the age of 50. The most common forgetfulness is not switching off the lights and fans, searching for things etc. I misplaced my black beed necklace and I am still searching for it. Getting scoldings from my husband and sometimes he will give ultimatum that I should find it out within one hour, as he is the person who has gifted it out to me.

Sometimes i forget where i left my keys or my wallet and it gets annoying. I'm a merry person but i know most of the time where my stuff are although there are times when i really forget where i put them.

Yes frontvisions. I too agree with you. My son is also a merry person and is very playful in nature. When he is already late to his office, then only he will search for his ID card, Keys or mobile and make the house a total hell and we all will be busy in searching it for him. Finally it will be found in his pant pocket only

Hi, it's not as if I am suffering from forgetfulness, but because of it, I find it difficult at times, to find things around the house. I am the one always putting things in the right-safe place and two weeks later I've forgot where I should look for it! At times, if not careful, it can get so severe I couldn't find anything at all and it is really irritating. What I often do to help is keeping journals of things I do each day and take notes of all the things happening every day as much I could. I also do meditation to help me be less absent minded. ;)

Hi Hanum It is the same with my husband too. He will wear his glasses and search the entire house and shout at us too thinking that we have misplaced it and ask us to help him out. and when we ask his to go and see the mirror then he will realise and go away laughing
