Well, I've been feeling bad all day, actually yesterday too, so today, the roomie proposed we get a pizza at Cici's. I chose instead to go there. I had 5 pieces and a salad. It wasn't great, but it was nice for a change. Part of going there means no left overs, and no temptation. Still, it was nice for a change. How long have you ever gone without pizza? Was it as good as you remember it when you hadn't had it for a long time?

We never go a whole week without some pizza or another. Hubby has an addiction. Hubby has a fat wife, too. I find that if I do buffets lately, I end up feeling gross. Sometimes CiCis is good, other times not, lately. I do like spinach pizzas with alfredo sauce. When I think of a fantasy pizza though, it will be thick crust and just swimming in cheese and everything else as well. I will dip it in marinara.

That can go along with all my gooey cheese. I have some shrimp, if I bring it can I come for dinner?

I do like their spinach pizza, its what I ate. My fantasy pizza has a thin crust, with mushrooms, cauliflower and shrimp

Pizza is not my favorite food. I eat it, but I could live without it. If I never had it again that would be okay with me. Ice Cream is a different story. I usually don't eat it in the winter, but when it starts to get warm that is what I want.

I like ice cream, but I think I could live pretty good without either of them... still it would have to be unavailable... Now, we've found some sugar-free Popsicles that are good too

Fudge popsicles sound good. Sugar Free would make them even better! I'll have to get some the next time I go shopping.

well, I've never found a frozen one I cared for, or that I cared for that didn't have corn somehow involved of course, its been a LONG while since I've had one because of that old demon corn.

I like Cici's pizza. But then, I like every thing - well, almost everything. I rarely get to go out to eat. My husband prefers that I make it at home. I sometimes buy ready made pizza at the commissary and bake it at home. I have not told him that I could buy pizza dough (or make it from scratch) and add just the toppings that he likes.

I had a coworker who's nephew was living with her and working taking orders, and he'd bring a few home too later another one worked at a chicken place and he would bring home the stuff that didn't sell before they closed...

hi ElicBxn oh how I long for a real pizza with lots of pepperoni and black olives and other goodies on it. we had a slice of supposed pepperoni pizza with two whole slices of pepperoni on it and lots of cheese and tomato sauce.it was okay but not what I call fantastic by any means. we did have ravioli that the cook himself made, not the chef boyardee crap they will usually serve, and this was really delicious so why not do that all the time and forget the chef boyardee crap as it tastes horrid. I hated that as a child and still hate it. I did not know the cook could make that, and sure hope he does it again. really so good and so different from the c anned stuff.

new chef maybe? Mom's place has FABULOUS food, they say most people put on 20 lbs the first year. I hope he decides to do it more often - maybe if you sent him a note about how wonderful it was?

Hm, I don't know, I probably have pizza once a month or less. Nothing is as good as Palermo's mushroom and extra cheese pizza, but they're too dang far away from here, haven't had any in 10 years or so...

I don't like the deep dish pizzas and the Pizza Huts have gotten so greasy - ick at least Cici's don't need to be blotted before eating...

Hey! Deep dish pan pizzas such as Conan's Pizza makes are fine, but I also enjoy thin & crispy. Depends on my mood. I have to agree Pizza Hut has become waaaay too greasy. They used to be one of the best "fast & easy" delivery pizzas in town. They had tang. Now, you DO have to blot them, but that's not the sole problem; they still tend to burn the crust. If they don't knock it off pretty soon, there are other places to go; the "big red roof" might disappear. Hey, check out the economy. People want value for their 48 cents--I mean, "dollar." But CiCi's Pizza is just so blah...well, most of them; there are some flavors I like, but their crust! Ho. Hum. Tsk. It's really the only thing other than the general blandness to which I object & you know what I'm talking about pizza for pity's sake I mean piz-frikkin-za I NEVER talk about this kinda stuff what has happened to me?! Well, anyway, I think it's time to check out that "Papa's Pizza" & see if it has anything going for it. You got any coupons? Mmmm...I eat at a CiCi's in Indiana once and it was a buffet type pizza place but you could still order stuff for them to put out. It was pretty good there. I really like pizza. I guess I have it around once or twice a month. I don't go very long without it.

Cici's is okay but is no where closes to my favorite pizza place. I like going to a home town place called Prontos! It has not only pizza but great Italian food! I usually do not go more then a week and I am either at Pizza Hut or at Prontos! Happy Mylotting!

I'm afraid that we don't have any really good pizza joints around here. At least I haven't found them, but even so, they won't be New York/New Jersey style pizza, it is TEXAS after all.

I have been to some very good places. A lovely little Italian place in AMARILLO TEXAS! Once hit a nice place in Houston (didn't last long, shame). We have had some nice places in Austin, and I haven't tried all of the new places, because I don't need to gain any more weight.

I hate when I go to a town and like you said they do not have a good pizza joint! Even though I am in Texas also the pizza joint we have is owned by a family form Italy, so everything we get form them tastes authentic and great!

I'm sorry to say, CICI's is gross you should stay away from that place. They reuse what ever they can for there buffet. I can not go too long with out pizza. I have a pizza joint near my house that make the best tomato type pie. They put a little cheese onto the dough in different spots and then fill in with the sauce, it's ridiculous how good there pizza is.

well, I go for a white pizza with spinach, I agree it isn't a great pie, but its less oily than the other places that deliver in this area. Now, if I were back East, I'd be eating REALLY good pizza!

And you mean to tell me you didn't save me a piece of pizza???? Just kidding. I can't even remember the last time I had pizza. Years and years ago, I actually used to make my own homemade pizza. But haven't even done that in ages. I suppose I could get frozen pizza but that never tastes quite the same as REAL pizza from a pizzeria type place. There's one store I often pass by...a real mom and pop store pizzeria (we don't have any chain types here)...I'm DYING to get a slice, but since I'm on benefits I have to really budget my money...it's like do I buy a slice of pizza or buy more cat food...uh, guess what wins out?

oh, yeah, I hear ya, but we had already bought the cat food, so we knew we could afford $10 for pizza. After drinking a couple of glasses of water and 5 pieces of pizza, I realized that I probably had both low blood sugar AND dehydration!

Oh my goodness there is nothing like pizza to help a long day. I guess that it comes with so many different toppings and it taste great with anything. Its something when the sauce and cheese mix with eachother, and the pepperoni, or whatever your topping is. But one thing I have noticed was the amount of cheeses they use to serve on pizza, they cut it in half and where im from cici's pizza their buffet was only 3.99 now it went up to 5.99. Now when I eat Pizza It has to be Digorno, its just how their bread taste and whatever they put in their sauce.

I did notice that the spinach pizza (not tomato sauce) was less spinach and cheese than it was last year, still I didn't eat all the "bones" so while I was very bad - I could've been a LOT worse!

I"m not really into pizza, but if I'm going to think of something equivalent to your story, I should use fries. I'm so addicted to them, but one day I just stopped. It was difficult but I managed to not have any in four months.
