what will you do if you saw a myLotter's ID and avatar in another forum..?

i assume that some myLotters have come across each other often enough that they tend to recognize certain writing styles and mannerisms. i also assume that some of them have even started to be friends (if they weren't friends already..).
so what if you're browsing through another online forum or discussion site and you come across an Avatar and ID that you're used to seeing in myLot..
what would you do? would you check out how this person reacts outside of myLot? would you introduce yourself as that friend from myLot? 
or would you take the chance of anonymity and take revenge if that myLotter has made you unhappy in myLot..?

That happened to me on Facebook. I was adding people for my Mafia and when I added this one person to my Farmville also, I saw that it was someone I know from here. I told her who I was and we've become even closer friends than we were before. I thought it was pretty cool!

I do not think it is wrong to find the same id and avatar in another forum.
In fact, I encourage it.
this will help you get recognized throughout.
In fact, I too have the same id and avatar that I use in my lot also in answerland and similar forums.
And this has become my brand.
People even outside the e-world recognize me by the name 'goodfundadvisor' and I love it.
Yes, I always love talking to people if I do find them in synergy with my thoughts.

I've come across a myLotter who I thought I knew. When I saw the name, I knew it had to be this person I used to argue with on the AOL discussion boards. This guy was always on the right of me politically. Yet I don't believe I debated with him all the time because there are some conservative causes I believe in and some liberal causes. But I never approached him.

I don't care of other members that looks familiar with me in other site except if they are close virtual friends. Sometimes I do leave message like this "I saw you on the *****" I do not state what is the site and they do reply to that message, but except if they are my close virtual friend. Some who are not close to me and I have doubts if they will remember me I just know they are from Mylot but I do not let them know that I know them.

soo...if you don't let them know that you know them from another place where you know them, then they wouldn't be able to know that you know them and they know you that you know them from that place where you both know of..

Hi Mario,
If I saw just the Avatar in another forum then I would not just assume that it is the same person because some of the avatars here, are just pics that can be found on the net. If they were the same name and avatar then I would not bother trying to seek revenge or anything. Why would I? If I was upset with them from here then I'd do just what I do here...avoid that person.

well, just observe first if he is really the one then if were really so close i would send her/him a message telling her/him that i feel so happy seeing here. if ever that person is my nemesis i would not care to add here and still stay anonymous to her/him..

One can pick up avatar everywhere, but the same avatar and the same username would be too much of a coincidence. It must be the same person. Yes, I'd probably drop by and comment on the person's post and tell him or her that I seem to recognize her in another forum. I wouldn't do that if I were the person.

Hi I havent been coming across any mylotters as I am not on any other site and no I would never take revenge on another mylotter even if I]did not like that person or he or she made me unhappy. I am not going to
be childish and stoop to their level at all.If I did run into a mylot friend I would at least say hi then go about my business.I am a

I haven't met any of my friends from MyLot on other sites, but if it happens I would introduce myself and ask the person if (s)he was a member of MyLot. It could be another person using the same the name or the same avatar, so I would have to ask them to find out if it was the same person or not. I am a member of some Danish forums and some social networking sites. I use the same name on most of the sites, and one of my friends from a social networking site recognized my name on an online forum and she asked me if I used same name on the other site.

that last option is totally evil hahaha... i'm not active in forums only here in mylot so i have not seen anybody familiar from mylot. if ever, then i will introduce myself telling that we're both from mylot and maybe he/she can share more tips on earning money online as our goal is the same.

when i see someone from one forum to another, i just say hi or send a message. i had few found friends because of forums and posting.
