My mother really loves dogs and cats. Every weekend, when she go to mall, she would not forget to buy meats and milk for our dogs and cats. And when she cook meals, of course, it's for everyone including the dogs and cats. I don't really care about that. But sometimes, it makes me think that its too much. Maybe because of the fact we're not rich and it's very costly. Like when my mom notice that our dog, Shaggy, didn't feel well. He has a cough that day. My mom admitted Shaggy to the hospital and bought lots of medicines. And now that I have cough, my mom suggests water therapy! HAHHAHAHA! :)) I am no jealous, I just find it funny that my mom is getting too inlove with dogs and cats! lols.
You guys, do you love dogs and cats this much?

I'm sure your mother loves you more than her dogs and cats. But you grew up and she still feels the need to take care of helpless beings, like you were when you were a baby.
That's why I think she told you to use water terapy: your simptoms were so obvious because you can speak and tell her how you feel, so she knew the remedy.
But for Shaggy who can't speak, she didn't know what to do, so she had to pay for the vet and all those medicines.

Hello, I if I do, I have two cats and they are crazy, as I usually sleep in my bed and go where I go, and if a dog was barking at the door of my house these will growl, if I´m sad come and lick me in the end I love them.

Are you kidding, attente? Those "licks" are kisses! The cats are saying they LOVE us when they lick us! I love kisses from my kitties...as long as they don't kiss me on the lips.

attente what would be the use of a pet dog or cat if you would not feed
them or care for them when ill.She is just doing what any sensible person would do for a dog or cat.l do not think its too much at all and evidently she does know how much she can afford so I would just smile were I the one with the mom who seems to obsess over her pets.I think she would not do anything to jeopardize the family budget.

I love cats and dogs but I can't say as I would go this route. I think there have been alot of problems recently with produced animal food. I have heard alot of different things. I think what this woman is doing is nice but it does seem to go alittle over the top here. My mom used to do the same thing. Ikes!

When I was a teen, a dear friend of mine a a dog loever mother. We had bread and butter for tea, but the dogd has wonderful bisquits (made for people). We stole them. It took me a long time to overcome my hate for dogs. Now I love my Lola (even thogh she will NOT learn to behave). But I would not choose the kind of dogs that my friend´s mother had: that was traumatic

HAHAHA!! lols. what's with you're friend's mother's dog? Even me, I used to hate dog. I don't really want them here because I find their bark so annoying. And most of all, I hated it when they enter here in our house. But eventually, I get used to them. Now, it's okay for me. I don't care if my mom spends lots of money for them, as long as she never forgets us. heheheh.

My Lola basks when she doesn´t like someone. But that´s wonderful as I found out that alarms are very expensive. And she is a dog that lives outside as she is too big to come inside and destroy my home.

I do understand how u feel. But i think your mom is taking more care of the pets as they cant speak and let her know what they are going through. I think you are feeling unloved bcos of your mom's behaviour.

I think your mother is doing a very good job looking after the animals. As long as it doesn't eat into her household budget, and she obviously enjoys looking afterthe dogs and cats, well that's wonderful.

lol =D YOur mom is one funny woman!! BUt i guess that is good right?? At least she is caring enough to those defenceless animals, and trust u to be mature enough on how to handle your own things.. haha =D 
If there are more of such ple like your mom around, then they wont be so many strays around, and those poor cats/dogs wont be abused ever again.. hehe I respect and admire your mom for her compassion, love for the animals!!

Same here, I admire my mom so much for her patience on our dogs. Sometimes I really find those things because I used to be a dog hater, I don't want any of them roaming in our house. And I don't like it when they lick me. But because of my mom, I learn to love them and enjoy their presence. hehehe.
And I am not really a jealous person, her pets bring so much happiness to my mom. So let her have that happiness. After all, she really deserves that. hehe.

wow that is so cute.I think I can relate to your mom.she probably loves caring for small,helpless creatures.since you are an adult now,I believe your mom trusts that you can take care of yourself.I wouldn't want to give people food to my pets though.I would rather give them food that is specifically made for them.

Yes, I know that my mom trust me of being mature. And water therapy will do. ehhe. And besides, I think she really have to admit her pets if they are sick for unlike us humans, they can't speak and tell us what is wrong with them. I know my mom loves us more.

When some one shows more love towards something it really makes us feel jealous

I have always considered myself a responsible pet owner and take very good care of my pets but, really...people food for a pet? Not only is it ridiculous, it isn't really healthy for the pet. The dog and cat food we buy in the store is nutritionally balanced, species-specific. Giving them so much people food will make them fat and unhealthy. Now, I love my cats and call them my babies but they are, after all, just pets and not really my children.

Well, being on food stamps, I have saved my money by buying ingredients with my food stamps to make homemade cat food for my cats but I follow a recipe that I got off the net for the homemade cat food. Of course, if I didn't have food stamps, then buying the ingredients wouldn't really save me any money. Still and all, it sounds hilarious what your mom is doing.

Its nice to see hear that your Mom takes so much care for your pets. But do remind her that she shouldn't be spending too much on it. ie. She doesn't need to buy a very expensive food for your pets, where a low cost one is suffice and available.
Also tell her that feeding them with such things could make them addict to that, they don't eat anything else later.
