Why BO Thinks Birth Certificates Don't Matter

You can hear him say it in this video clip (URL below letter), but here it is: "...being an American is not a matter of blood & birth."
In a remote, philosophical way, he's right. America is much MORE than a place, she's an Idea.
But this is about the LAW, not philosophy, & his push to pass damnesty for illegal aliens (as well as his expensive legal fight to keep his records secret...sooo "transparent"...
).
The Constitution requires him to be a "natural born citizen" of this country. Constitutional scholars (up 'til BO) always said that meant being born on U.S. soil (that includes military basis in foreign countries), by 2 American parents.
Dual-citizenship is also forbidden for presidents, by the way, because the Framers rightly were skittish about someone with divided loyalties being in the highest office in the land. BO had Indonesian citizenship (never revoked), wherever he was born. Thus he isn't Constitutionally eligible to be president for THAT reason, either. Nor is Bobby Jindal, whom I respect & think would make a fine president, but...we are a nation of laws.
And BO has no respect for the law. That's as plain to see as a smudge on a choir robe.
So this "Constitutional lawyer"--ha!--is pushing damnesty for illegals, hoping no-one knows why he's not legally allowed to do so.
Drat that pesky Constitution, anyway!
Oy. BO...

LOL...My daughter loves your use of the "BO" initials for our illegal prez...she thought her initials were weird "ER". Now she doesn't feel so bad.
It's nice to see a movement against this illegal prez and I pray for success in it! Power needs to be back in the hands of the people!

Maggie, you have to go deeper and look at the U.S. Code. That says that, if you're born in the United States, you are a natural born citizen and eligible to be the president or the vice president. The claim that Obama had Indonesian citizenship has been debunked, he was a foreign student while in school there.
This is the question that I ask myself about this issue. With the division that exists between the democrats and the republicans right now, it would seem to me that there would be a whole bunch of Republicans pushing for the impeachment process if there was a snowball's chance in he11 that Obama was not born in Hawaii. I believe that every member of congress has seen the proof which the general public is not privy to because of the lawsuits. As far as his expensive legal fight, I'm sure you realize that anyone who is sued has the right to present a defense and the first thing the lawyers do is to lock up all personal information. Obama is not above the law but he's not below it either to waging a defense does not equal guilt.
