Go to your local supermarket and buy a bread mix, these come in pre mixed up bags to which you usually just add water....very very easy! Then you pop it in the machine once mixed up (some machines you put the ingredients into the machine and it will mix and knead for you, look your machine up online), then you can chose to either make a loaf in the bread machine, or take out the kneaded bread and shape it, but most people make a loaf! The machine does everything for you, it mixes, kneads, rises and then cooks the bread!!!!! Just look online for the simple insrtuction manual so you know what buttons to press!!! But i definitely recommend buying a bread mix rather than trying to make it yourself!!! :)

I can tell you how to make bread from scratch, but I've never used a bread machine. However, if you purchase the ingredients, there are directions on the box. Look for bread machine mixes at the grocery store.

It is very kind of your husband to do so. I have a bread machine at all because I like DIY cooking. It is just so easy to make the bread by the bread machine. I am not sure whether you have the instructions book of this bread machine. Usually there are several buttons to make different bread. All you have to do is to add the right ingredients to the bread machine and then press the button. Everything will be done automatically, including baking. Such as you will add the water, oil, sugar, salt, flour, yeast etc. into the bread machine. And after two or three hours a bread is ready. Or you can use the bread machine to make the dough only. It is just so convenient. I love China

I love making bread but I dont use a machine....maybe I should. Try this site, http://allrecipes.com//Recipes/bread/bread-machine/Main.aspx, they give recipes for bread machine, BUT make sure about how your machine works first, if its the right size and all. Oh the smell of bread.....mmmm I cant make bread now because we're having a heat wave but I sure will as soon as the weather cools a little. Have fun!!

You sound like me. I make bread each and every week but the only machine around is the electric stove. The machine I use is a spoon and me. Look on line and check out ideas on how much flour versus water and yeast etc. Good luck.

If you go to your local bookstore, they will have cookbooks for breadmachine recipes. Also you can search on the internet. Just type in bread machine recipes. Another thing you can do is if the name of the manufacturer is on the machine plus the serial number or model number, you can go to the manufacturer's website and they will probably have a way for you to get the booklet or you can download it in pdf format. Most breadmachines are the same. The one you got probably does 1 lb loaves.

I've worn out at least 4 bread-machines. presently I own 3, but I use them one at a time. Women buy bread-machines, try them once or twice then give up, and put them away. Making bread with a bread-machine is easy and fun, but there are a few tricks you need to know. Put all the wet ingredients into the machine first. Then add the dry, leaving the yeast to the very last. Don't get the yeast wet. Use enough moisture to make a smooth ball in your machine, if its sticks to the sides its too wet ( add some more flour) Use Bread flour. Canadian Bread Flour is the best, but The US flour will work. I use Olive oil instead of butter. and honey instead of sugar. use the same amounts as in the recipe. The book stores are filled with bread-machine recipe books. most machines are similar, so any bread-machine recipe will work on most machines. Stick with it, and you will soon be baking delicious bread. Have Fun!

We have a bread making machine and my husband tends to make bread every now and again. When we were given the bread machine he seemed to use it all of the time, where as now he do not tend to get it out that much.It makes the whole house smell great when he uses it.I find that there are also alot of friends that also like his bread, including the sister in law,who gets a loaf off him sometimes when he has made one.If you go on the internet type in the make and then you can download all the info that you need aswell as the different things that can be added to make the bread.

Hi snow Since it is a machine, manufactured by a reputed (or some) company, they might be having a website, email id or contact number over the packet or gurantte card, you can contact them and request for a literature on how to make bread.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

I bought a new bread machine and when it went out on me I found another one at Goodwill. I bought it and it did not have instructions either So what I did was get the make and model off the machine (probably bottom) and did a search on it and found out the instruction booklet for that particular machine. Then all I did was buy a couple of bread machine books, and also do searches for Bread Machine recipes. By the time you read this you are probably already enjoying your fresh loaf of bread because I am late finding this discussion but hope you are enjoying your new breadmachine. When my second one gave up I went back to making homemade bread I usually turn the bread into rolls instead of loaves that way I cut them in half and use them for sandwiches too. Happy Bread to you love the kitchen with the armoma of fresh bread!

Could you go on the bread machines website? They may have instructions to use the bread machine, and maybe even a few recipes. If there's nothing on the website you could try writing the company and letting them know you got a bread machine used and it didn't have the instructions. There should be a model number somewhere on the machine, if there's not you could snap a picture to send with it.
