So I got bored and was sifting around through some freebie's forums and I noticed some product recalls for cribs, spaghetti-O's and a few other misc products. They were saying to recall stuff that was like. three-four years old to the current date of June, 2010. I mean, really? That long for them to find out and then they want you to perhaps return the product? Isn't it a bit late? Don't Spaghetti-O's get bad after like. A month? Does anyone else think this is ridiculous? If you're going to do a recall it should be within the first week or two from which the product was released to the market. Not, Months.. or years later. *sigh*.
What's your take on this?

That is rediculous. You found it on the forum so hopefully others knew of it and took heed. There are sure being more and more of this sort of thing over the last few years. It scarey to think of what we have infront of us. I am sure they do the recall as soon as they learn there needs to be one.

Well the "Spaghetti-O" recall was supposedly because a number of them were "undercooked" but doesnt cooking them in the microwave get rid of the "undercooked" notion? Or is it simply that cooking needed to have been done a lot further then that? *siiigh*. Haha. I have been limiting my "Spaghetti-O" dosage lately so i'm good.

Spaghetti-Os are a canned product, they are good on the shelf for a number of years. Cribs often get recalled after some data comes in about children being hurt or killed when using them. Recalls are important whenever they come out.
