Never let a moment pass

Do you sometimes wish you could fast forward some things in your life? I do, especially the hard times. But then again, these times are the ones that strengthen and help us to be better. So I say never let a moment pass. Appreciate and always look on the positive side of things. Cherish and learn from each experience.

this is nice. metaphorically speaking, it is like our body that cannot be complete with a missing part. and life cannot be complete without the challenges or the hurdles.

Maybe when I was younger I might have said yest, but I think once you get past a certain point in your life you start to realize how short life really is and when your life is half over you don't want it to go faster you actually want it to slow down, at least I do. I want more of life and I don't want to miss a moment of it. I will accept every moment. I guess waiting in line or sitting at lights might be nice to fast forward through but you never know what you may miss while you are waiting.

I like your statement ladym33, i wouldn't let a moment pass as well. Not even all the hardships that I went through, for it made me what I am today better and wiser (i really hope so!).

How I REALLY wish I could fast forward these hard times for me. Been experiencing them for more than 2 years already. I know what you mean when you say that tough times make us tougher but actually it is easier said than done. Just fought with my husband a while ago. We currently have extreme financial difficulties and he is not doing anything to help and that really pisses me off. Sometimes I think that the man I married 16 years ago is really not the man for me. Sigh! I can no longer change the past, I just hope that in the VERY NEAR future (I HOPE IT STARTS TOMORROW), things will indeed be brighter and happier.

It is in the bad times that we grow stronger so we should not rush any moment of our lives. We should cherish each one of them and learn from them and live each moment to the best of our ability. I, too, want to rush some of the bad times or the times I am dreading something, but we shouldn't do that. We should cherish each one and learn from God how to handle each moment. After all, God is in control and we need to learn to let him guide us and direct our lives. God bless you!

Yes you are right. Even me I want to fast forward everything especially if don't like what happening to me. I also agree again of what you said this hard things makes us strong. After we had oversome all of this, the next time we experience this again it will be easy for us already.

If given that chance to fast forward some things in my life, I guess I'll be tempted. However, if I will do it, how can I learn the lessons that those situation has to offer? I believe that all of us are being placed in such situations because in it are lessons and missions that we have to accomplish...and the best that we can do is to savor each moment, keep the good things that you may get, and leave behind the bad things that may come with it...then move forward.

No I would not want to fast forward the good things happening to me because I don't want to let it end. We all would not want these things to end as well though. But with this I am not letting a great moment pass by enjoying every bit of it.

never let a moment pass...appreciate every morning of waking up, think to do all the good things for every moment pass it will never back...what is done is done, and if you let it pass by doing bad things in life, all you can do after is to "regret"...but definitely it's too late!!!

I have wanted to fast forward life before, but now that I've read this, I see your point and don't want to. This is a wonderful way to look at life. Thanks for sharing :)

I totally agree with you. Those hardship that we normally go through are the ones that makes as stronger, wiser and make as a better person. We should cherish it like those happy times in our life. I believe that experience is the best teacher. God bless (",)

You know sometimes, specially during those awkward moments in my life, where I want to fast forward the time. There are also times where I want to prolong the time as it seems to be moving too fast. I guess, its all in the mind because at the end of the day, we'll just realized that time moves the same phase.

hi! yes i do. its a normal reaction for anyone who is having a hard time of his/her life. but the thing is, in the process i also learn to appreciate what i am going through. because in every situations, the most important thing is we learn the lessons within it. then those make us stronger to face every challenges and hardships along the way... we should never get tired of standing after every fall, its all about life. good thing is there is no permanent thing in life, so we have a chance to get even and change our status of course that's always depend on us...

I never thought about fast forwarding things that happen in life. It's so true that those bad moments in life strengthen us and to be better. Thanks for reminding me of that....

Yeah, everybody "wishes" that. But I like living one day at the time, it gives me peace and fun. So, I tell everybody to do the same. Don't worry about tomorrow, unless you got an exam or homeowork :p But if I would like to flashforward some hard times of my life? Sure, who doesn't? But then, there would be no "phun" (fun) :( Cheers mate =)
