Hi, I know you love children. Everybody does. I love the way they smile. I love their simplicity. I envy their carefree life. Cuddling a child always makes you happy. No matter how old you are, you will always love to play with a child. A child reminds me of my own childhood. When a child thinks I am his friend, that means a lot to me. What do you love about children? Thanks in advance for your participations. God bless you

I love a child's honesty and that naughty giggle when you catch them at being naughty. Nothing can beat a child's honesty. TATA.

I am not Everybody. I don't love children. The one thing I love about children is I don't Have to have any, nor be around any.

Can I ask something? Have you been around babies of your aunts and relatives for too long? I mean, it is possible to get an overdose of it to a level that you no longer want them. Each one has a different level of course. If you were young and wanted to go and play but had to take care of siblings at that stage - be older than what you were - then some resentment can start building up. And that eventually leads to such feelings. I congratulate you for your honesty. It is understandable sarah. I think we all should be open to this aspect rather than try to coerce a person to go against their desires and feelings. Otherwise we will have cases like that mother who killed so many of her babies and buried them in her yard.

The child's face and looks are innocent that is why it is love to see. I am really a fond of babies and young children because they speak the truth. They say what they see and they are really cute of speaking the truth about you. Children are love to be with because they are express their true feelings. You can feel from them if they are happy or lonely. They have a true expressions of themselves. If they feel hungry so easy for them to ask for food. If they are angry they do it by expressing themselves. They cried or laugh or angry any emotions comes out and this are all true from a child which are innocent in many ways.

Dear, I also believe that honesty is next to divinity. They always speak the truth because they don't feel the need to lie. Why do we lie? We lie mostly because we are afraid or want to be excessively pleasing. They don't have any such obligation. If they are hungry they will ask you directly. They are shameless because they are too simple to hide their feelings with hypocrisy. That is such a wonderful thing. Most of us have lost this very important key to happiness and are searching for it everywhere. Thanks so much for your participation. God bless you

getbiswa, not everyone loves children. But I do. What do I like about children? They trust me! Seriously, they are so trusting and loving and caring. They wrap their arms around my legs, they give me cookies when I'm not hungry, they listen to my voice even when I am angry. How can I not love them! They are soft yet cunning and wily. They still look adorable when they have spaghetti all over their faces. And they get away tearing pages of a book, breaking a crayon, smashing a glass broken with only two words - I'm sorry! Ooops, that's three.

Perhaps no one can describe a child as you have done here. Well, 'I'm sorry' is two words all right. You know how they mumble. They always make wise and economic use of words.

They are soft, wide eyed animals who at times try to give me such intellectual lectures which I am too dumb to understand, and then they are cheeky little specimens who dont have any manners when they should sh$t or piss, and have the audacity to smile and laugh at you when you clean them, and they keep on moving their hands up and down as if they were conducting the last part of an orchestra - when they are bathing. Oh there are simply too many things I love about babies. I love their smell, I love their dependence, the way they hold your finger tight, he he. Only problem is babies grow up and become intelligent like you and we the mamas are forced to treat you all as grown ups. :(

I wish I was a dumb blond!!! I prefer babies to remain babies. And I have played with quite a few, they are dependent on everybody who has love to spare. :)

I remember once scaring a child away. I had this beard and I went straight to this child, covered my face with towel and said, "Where is the baby", then removing the towel, "Here he is". The child gave out a terrible shriek and started crying incessantly. That was one heck of an incident.

Babies are smelly because they drink milk too much. Babies are dependent only on their mothers and not to rest of the world. There is always an invisible force that protects a baby when her mother is not around. We never actually grow up you know. We still have babies inside us. Some of these babies fight, some play with their dolls, some still stare at the television with awe and surprise. When you are surprised like that by some beautiful thing, you surely know there is a baby inside you. When you love someone beyond measure yet never get attached to him you know that only a child has the power to do such a sacrifice. There is a child in everyone of us that peeks into outside world sometimes.

hi,i agree totaly, children are amaizing, they dont have have to wory about anything, money, responsibilities e.t.c.they are like free spirits, they have lots of feature expectations evenif they dont know it yet, sometimes i wish i could become a child again.thanks

Oh yes. You can surely be a child anytime you wish. You are actually carrying your childhood inside you all the time. The money, responsibilities etc, like you said are not beings. They are mere 'things'. So you can surely detach yourself from it any time at your will. This momentary detachment will give you back your childhood again.

Oh yes, they trust everyone around them. They trust their parents above all. They are loving and have great energy, all this because they are simple. I believe that they are protected by some invisible power. There is always something heavenly around them.

Hi, I should say that "my child" is my everything. I am a mother of one little boy and my son is also my sunshine. His smile and laughter will brighten up my days. He makes my life so wonderful and full of suprises. I love my son so much and want the best for him. Although it is not an easy task to bring up a child, but do enjoy my motherhood. I spent lot time with my son,we play together, sing together, have fun together. Seeing him so happy, I feel happy too.

Shia, That is such a great thing you've written up there. I wonder if there is any relationship as wonderful as that of a mother and her child. Perhaps it is the best. You know, I personally think that the day our childhood is lost is a day to be mourned for life. A child as simple-minded as he is, contains divinity within himself. A mother being his nearest always shares a part of that divinity. What you wrote here reminds me of Sistine Madonna by Raphael. Thanks so much for this wonderful post. God bless you.

I love children, they make me smile. Children are so special and amazing. They talk to you and listen to your words of wisdom. If you do it right, they will come to you with questions about life and mimick you when you are not looking. Children are such a wonderful gift of love. We must raise our children to be good, loving, caring.

I completely agree to that. Children have a special ability to imitate everything you do in front of them. So it is important that you always come up with the best of your behavior. If you want to teach them something, the best way is to do it yourself in front of them.

What I love about children is that they dont hold grudges. There are times that they are going to feel bad about something and not want to talk to you but afterward they are already fine. There are so many things that even adults could learn from them.
• India
20 Aug 10
That is quite true. They no nothing about vengeance. Sometimes they are afraid of adults who don't treat them well. They don't trust them and try to hide away. But then if the adult starts demonstrating love again, the children forget everything and become friends once with that person once again. It's in their nature. Wish we could be that simple and open-minded too.

I love it when the children are naughty. I also like their innocence. I love to trouble them with questions and hear their innocent replies. I also love to carry the small babies and their smell. There is always a good smell of powder around the small babies. And i love to watch the babies when they are asleep. It makes me very happy to see them smiling in their sleep.

Oh yes. When they sleep they dream about fantastic things. They dream about kings and queens and all wonderful things that they see around them. These things are often quite amusing. When they sleep they are in a different world filled with all sorts of imaginary things and beings. That usually makes them smile in their sleep. I wish I could have some of their dreams. But alas! As we grow up our imagination gets blunt. What a waste.

Children are the best thing about life. I love children. I think that having children and being a good mother is the reason why I was put on this earth. I haven't had any children yet, but I am looking forward to when I start. I love the innocence that children have. The way they light up your life in the hard times. They are beautiful in the most complicated ways. I love the way they attach to you like they never want to leave your side. They are the best because they're you! It's crazy to look at your child and know that they are exactly half of you and to look at them and see your features on their face. Almost like looking into a mirror. Anyways, that's why I think that children are awesome. :)

Children are awesome indeed, even when they are some others'. They are the ones always reminding us of our own childhood days. They also, in a way, revitalizes our own simplistic mind that we've left long behind. They are just amazing.

I love the innocence of children, they are uncorrupted minded little ones. They are cute, sweet, thoughtful and eager to listen and learn new things in life. They are innocent spirits that give us joy and inspiration. They are the motivating factor why parents work hard for a better future. They are the greatest blessing from God that every person can have in his/her lifetime... They are not negotiable, they are uncomparable beyond words...I will forever value and love children for they are precious and need to be forever nurtured and cherished.I never knew how much I could love children this much, not until it was revealed to me by God...when I had a child of my own...my one and only daughter... =)

Hi getbiswa2000, a child can teach you something that no adult can do. When they talk to you, a child will always look into your eyes for they will asked only a question from their heart and they will listen to you as you speak and believe in everything that you will tell them because they don't doubt and only knows how to love people because they have a pure heart.

I love children. I love their innocence, curiosity and simplicity. I love hearing them laugh and seeing them smile. And yes, I love cuddling them, too. It is always nice to be reminded of your own childhood. Sometimes, children surprise me because they can be wise and sometimes, you can't help wondering where they get their wisdom.

My absolute favorite things about children is the fact that they get the most enjoyment out of the simplest things. You would think that my children and my nieces hit the lottery whenever I get a Tupperware order in because it means that they have a new box to play with. They will play with the box for hours and it can be a boat, a space shuttle, even a car in the time that it lasts. Children are just learning about the world and that is one of the reasons that I enjoy watching them so.

What I love about children is their being a child in everyway but thinks like an adult. I remember ont time when my kid asked me the reason why people live on earth, does God created earth for people only? Then he asked," Then why are there any other planets? Does people live there too?" Do you think this is a question of a five year old boy? Nonetheless, they are not afraid to ask unlike adult people because kids doesn't care what other people will think when they ask. I think that's the best part of being a child, being carefree and not afraid to ask.
