Ain't You Suppose To Be Doing Something Else Other Than Mylotting?

I had a severe Mylot habit by always jumping on Mylot as soon as I get up out of bed in the morning, of course after I take care of some minor, but necessary things, like use the bathroom and get the sleep out of my eyes.
I would put the household duties on hold for a while so I can Mylot and get some posts in early, but I would switch it up and do some cleaning for about 30 minutes, and then Mylot for a few minutes, and so on.
I honestly say that I don't have much to do right now because I played it smart and wiped out almost all the housework I have to do today, including serving breakfast, well this morning I served my husband and my daughter some brunch (lunch mixed with breakfast), which included dry Cheerios, cold slaw and turkey hot dogs, but not because I'm too lazy to hook something up, but because that's what they wanted.
Now all I have to do today is cook some chicken and shells-n-cheese for dinner and make some tea. I might have to sweep the floor and have it mopped, and spend some time on Mylot. I have to earn 0.6 more cents to reach payout, so I better get moving, I just came back to Mylot about a week ago. I also have to work on my online business for about 2 hours today.
Mylot is great for interesting chat, the money isn't a big deal but it's still good to see it say $10.00, it comes in good handy.

That's the best way to do it. I think i'm going to get into the habit of doing the housework when I get up, and save my online stuff for later.

i really like my lot compared to facebook... my lot just makes me express myself... and make otheres accept me what i am. asnwering others questions makes me feel like others accept me for what i am... awhile asking answered by others make me feel like im not alone... theres someone who cares.. eheheh!! and hey were getting paid...!?

I only used Facebook to get prospects for my business. But I don't just chat on that for fun like I do here. And yes Mylot pays us for starting and responding to discussions. To make the most money here it's necessary to write quality posts that gives value and relevant to the discussions. It's fun to chat here with my friends.

Oh yes! I’m supposed to be working full time in this office instead of mylotting LOL…actually I accidentally chanced upon mylot while surfing the net on the office computer and its been four years since and mylot has become an addiction! Whenever I get some free time in between all the work I do in office, I try to post in some responses. As you said, the money’s not too great and since its in dollars and I’m in India, its quite difficult to actually see the money, but then it’s the site and the people here that’s got me hooked to it.

Hey sudipta, I know what you mean about mylot addiction. It sneaks up on you if you ain't looking, like it did me when I first joined. If Mylot wasn't paying money and if the people was still here, heck I'll still come by and chat.

Mylot used to be my priority in the past but not now.. haha =D Because most of my regular friends are not around or not as active, thus i'm not logging in as often too.. lol =D Plus, my workload has increased as well, so i cant be in here daily too. hehe ^_^
BUt once i have any free moments, mylot will be the first site that comes to my mind, because it's earning me some extra money.. haha =D

I've been away from Mylot for I think 6 months now, and I notice that a lot of my friends aren't around here much, or not at all. I truly miss them, they surely brought out the best in Mylot for me.
On the other hand, I'm glad I do have a few friends around here who are regular, and they seem to make my day every time. I love them dearly.

yeah,since i have joined mylot,i know you are not always here,my brother and i know you have close friends here which i also find not here always nowadays,not like before.we all have different lives facing inn front of us and mylot is like a hang out place for us,we find ourselves missing mylot when we are really busy with other stuffs inour lives.
i also have close friends here,who i am not able to interact nowadays.they re all busy offline. i missed them so much,and i hope i can interact with them in the coming days.even outside this site. well,i do hope they are always fine.

hello freebies,well yes it's much fun to be here cause of the friends you already became close with.but i guess people really come and go here and we all face our own busy lives outside this site. well,as long as we get to interact and have fun with other members,it's good to be here.and who might know,by those absence of others,we might found some other members who are friendly and fun to be with,right?
that's what i like here at mylot,we can interact to all members here,and be close to themif we all wanted.

well,now i think i don't have to do anything rather than sleeping and take a rest of my eyes,because of too much computer exposure.our eyes need to rest for some time for it can help us with our everyday lives. and later i'll have a bath cause i felt a little sweaty now,and for me to freshen up and energize later.
there are times i would really check mylot during mornings but sometimes i really hooked up that i can't do anything to get rid of it. that's why sometimes i like to turn on my computer in the afternoons or evenings to make my whole day worth productive inside the house. and i feel headache if i stayed too much in front of computer.i can't take it.

I've had headaches before, but not sure if it's from staring at the computer too much. Lately I've had pain near my ear. Don't know whether it's an ear infection or not. The computer don't bother me too much, I just need a good night sleep and I'm ready to get to work again.

of course,we all need to have a rest for some time,not mylotting the whole day.it will really bring headache if you just sit and type the whole day,right?really achy head to have! and i felt i am lack of sleep because of mylot for some time.that's why it's better to have a break for a while.we can always get back here every now and then.

I am just like you as soon as I am awake and ready I jump right into myLot. I do not have small children at home and my boyfriend is to self sufficient, God Bless him, I will immediately get to all my alerts and respond to new discussions by my friends, which basically can keep me busy of at least an hour in half. Then I will skip around a bit and see if there is any new discussions that I can respond to.
As soon as I am done in this area I get housework done and or make a meal. Then I am back on here to catch up again.
So I juggle everything in between and it seems to work out well for me, as it also gives me a chance to recycle my brain for a bit.

I'm not the best time manager but I try. And yeah, he's a good daddy, he tries to take her out for at least 2-3 hours each day before he goes to work.

Like you I do my Housework bit by bit but as there is only Gissi (my little Dog) and me there is not a lot to do
I don't just do mylot though there are other Sites I am on as well and I have my own little Gissi fun Site lol so in between Housework and that I am on my Laptop

Hi gabs, it feels like I have a lot to do because I have a toddler and the house is a playground for her. I usually clean it up once a day, and if it gets back messing again, I let it stay that way until my daughter goes to bed for the night. I don't know any other sites that's fun as Mylot, that pays.

I've been so busy for so long that it takes me two months to reach payout now. I had no problem reaching payout every month for the first two years I've been here but, now, it just seems that I have so much to do.
I learned of my surgery date two weeks early and I must say that the first week of "waiting" was anything but. I just spent the past two days at my son's house, helping him and my husband put new siding on my son's shed. We were going to do his house but, after spending two days out in the blazing sun with temps in the upper 90's, we unanimously decided to let a contractor do his house.
I'm sunburned and aching from head to foot. My HAIR hurts! My fingernails hurt! I hurt in places I never knew I had before now. 
I think I'll be spending a bit more time here until Friday morning which is my surgery date. I do have to be at my son's house tomorrow to meet with the contractors for the estimate on siding my son's house, then I have to take my kitty back to the vet's on Wednesday for another vaccination (feline leukemia). Thursday, I have nothing planned so I'll probably be here most of the day. I'm going to take my netbook to the hospital with me so, if I'm feeling good enough Friday afternoon or evening, I'll definitely be here.

If I work everyday and started 6-10 discussions a month on Mylot I can reach pay out. If I don't, and just work occasionally it takes a couple of months. I usually work on my writing, do some surverys and work on here then go to Facebook and play a game or two for a break. Works out well for me.

That reminds me about Facebook games. I've always wanted to try out the games on Facebook because I hear so much chat about it. I might do that today or tomorrow for the heck of it. 6-10 discussions is good for reaching payout. You must get a lot of responses to your discussions to reach payout from just 6-10 discussions.

I am very fortunate because I can spend most of every day here while my daughter is at school because I work from home freelance writing and I consider MyLot part of my work although money is certainly not the primary reason I am here although the small earnings sure help my income! I could be doing a million things instead of MyLotting like cleaning the house, cooking or working on the book I would like to write one day but I can’t help it; I love coming here and it’s hard for me to stay away. I am planning to go away next January and chances are I will be taking my laptop with me!

Yes you are very fortunate. My daughter is with me most of the time (which I enjoy) so I can't just hang around like I would if I was by myself.

I also did the same with you. Since I logged in Mylot use the phone, I often log into Mylot, wake from sleep I took the phone and log on Mylot, make a few responses. Then I do another job. Like cooking for breakfast, while cooking I took my phone, while waiting for the food cooked, I logged on Mylot. One day I logged in Mylot so many times. In one day I can get $ 0.30 - $ 0.40. I was very surprised with what I got, because before I only get $ 0.08 - $ 0.10 while still using the computer.

hi, guilty as charged! today though is a bankholiday here in the u.k. so i feel i earned my time on mylot as on sunday i did overtime at work (yuk). this is such a fun site and i find a few pennies is a bonus too. i love to hear what other people think and the answers to some of my crazy questions often make me laugh . i have cut down though as my first week i got nothing done around the house and my husbands 'milk of human kindness' was begining to turn sour! lol

It's really easy to get lost in Mylot world when you start chatting here. I was an Mylot addict when I first joined 3 years ago, but I got more into an online business that took me away from it for a while. It's like I'm only here for a season or something, but I plan to stick around a while this time.

I did a lot of housework today just because there was nothing in my mailbox! I had other work online to do but I just had to clean the shower and I'm tired of living out of the laundry basket--I actually put all my clean clothes away!!

I'm still working on setting up my Attraction Marketing business that where I teach people how to use attraction marketing to get free targeted leads for their business each month. I started doing this a few months ago and it's crazy! I got too many phone calls from people wanting help growing their business.
I know many people are having trouble getting signups for their business opportunity, so I give them the option of joining me and I will teach them how to get leads and signups also.
I don't have it on my profile because right now I am updating my marketing system and I'm not accepting students until I'm finished doing that.

hi miraclefreebies no I am not, so I can mylot all I want, thefloor of our room is vacumned daily, our beds made and the bathroom cleaned
so I have lots of time to mylot as much as I can do. And I am on here til almost four o clock,then back on after our early dinner. lots of my lotting and lots of fun too.

I don't have anything else to do. i just finished my summer class a few weeks from now and class is starting agan in a week. So I have some time on my hands now. I didn't really eat alot today. I am just not that hungry. Just reading the descriptions of your meals makes me hungry though. I want to eat mac and cheese but I don't have enough ingredients :( and i am too lazy to drive at the supermarket..bad me

I have a bad habit of running to the computer to see what kind of discussions are on Mylot. Sometimes I stay up to the wee hours of the morning responding to a discussion in politics or religion. Of course I'm not worth much after that. It's a good thing I'm retired.

yep. the money is not that big a deal but mylot is really enjoyable and it's better to log in here than on other social sites where you dont earn anything. this site is also helpful for us whose first language is not english. it helps us improve our conversational skills.
