stitute teaching at the school. I received a letter in the mail telling me that Sep. 7th from 7:30 am to noon will be pictures for our ID badges. Well, I'm not wearing a Rosacea-faced looking picture of myself with scraggly hair for an entire school year. So I made an appointment to get my hair and face done. Sounds easy, but up here, fewer and fewer places do make up and this place only has 1 person who does make up, she works afternoon and evenings, so she has to come in special for me. A friend of mine reminded me that this person also does the hair and make-up for Channel 5 News. So wish me luck! Sometimes I like the make-up other people do for me and sometimes I'm not crazy about it. I hope she can get my rosacea skin to be more like the color of the rest of my face. So when was the last time you had your hair done? Make-up done by someone else? What were the circumstances or what was the event? I have my Driver's license where I look like a tomato and my military dependent ID where they seemed to have filtered out the red, but I look like a ghost. But this ID, I will be wearing all the time, so I don't want it to look horrible. I had one when I worked for another school that was taken at a newspaper printing place and no one told me in advance, I looked terrible and had to wear it for a year! UGH!

Photos done for ids are usually unusual as is the case with your Driver's License and Govt ids. Any way all the best for you new hair do and hope looks good in the id too!

Thank you. The hair I could probably do somewhat well, (not as well as they could), it's the make-up so I don't look like a zombie or like a tomato that is the problem. I can't do that at all. So both the hair and the make-up will be interesting.

Some of us look forward to getting our pictures taken, even if it is just for an ID. Some of us dread the experience. I don't think i ever had an ID picture that i was completely satisfied with. i hope your day goes well as you get both your make up and hair done for your ID experience.

Other than in plays, I am sure I have not had my makeup done. Usually I did it myself then as well. I have not had my hair cut professionally in about a year and a half, but it is not scraggly. I do, however, keep it very pulled back. I am glad you are doing this for yourself, it will look very professional. Some districts do not make new ones every year.

I missed having a picture made last year, caused no end to problems. My brother sometimes cuts my hair for me, but he's working construction right now. I can't do my eyes for make up and I never get the greening (anti-red) stuff right for the rest of my face. So I normally don't wear make-up. I wish their was a course or class for those of us with rosacea. But they would have to have alot of patience with me!

I had my hair done for my senior pix in high school, and since it was sepia, the make up didn't matter too much Then, when I was on Judge Alex I got it done by their hair and make-up person - spray on color for the face - covers a multitude of sins! (moles actually)... As the roommate said - I cleaned up pretty nice...

They filmed it but never showed it. It really was a no brainer, all her medical bills were paid by Medicaid, and since they had already brought us down, put us up over night and I didn't want money, just a ruling that she couldn't bring suit again, they went ahead and found in my favor

You were on Judge Alex? I never knew anyone who was on any of those shows. So how did that turn out casewise? Spray-on color? That sounds interesting. I've never had that before.

I'd like to see it, I think that's wonderful..I can't remember the last time I had my hair and and the last time I had my makeup done was about 3 years ago when I won a Mary Kay makeover and she did a good enough job that I bought the overpriced eye shadow and still have it..I love that color. Unfortunately in order for me to get my order I had to make a complaint on the girl. She never sent my order or my friend who also ordered something from her. After many times of trying to get my order, they finally sent it, but I doubt she is involved anymore, not when both my friend and I complained. My friend, she just wanted her money back..

I had a Mary Kay Make-over once. The person way overdid my eyes. We're talking tons of makeup on them. It was OK other than that.

Oh this girl did such a good job, I hated that she didn't follow through..She did have a little one with her so I felt bad, thinking that she needed the money that bad,but I couldn't let her get away from not only my order, but my friends too..

Well either she was in business or she wasn't. I had a similar problem. I was supposed to be selling products for this woman. I gave her an order and I didn't hear and didn't hear. Left her messages and finally she said the place reorganized and she had contacted them, but they didn't return her messages, so they didn't get back to her and so I could forget my order. I hadn't put any $ down so it wasn't a big deal in a way, but I wanted the items for presents for my family.

You should see my driver's license picture. OMG! It reminds me of a picture of Ma Barker the head of family of theives. It is horrible. The lighting they use is sure not very flattering. Last time I had my hair done? Back when I had my daughter my girlfriend gave me a sort of a make over to cheer me up.( Post pardem depression.) I had long hair and she did it up for me. I have a picture of it somewhere.

One time, I needed my hair and make-up done for something, auditioning for a play, wedding, something, I don't remember what, but I dedided that since it was close enough to getting my driver's license that I would go get it plus have my picture taken. Best driver's license picture I ever had. That was nice of your friend to do that for you. Sorry you had post pardum depression. I hope it didn't last long. Having and taking care of a baby is hardenough even withut that.

Hi! Well, I guess I didn't mine about my bright red face in my ID. Maybe you can try proscea gel and metro gel 1% if you're not doing anything for it.
