unfortunately i didn't mudik to my hometown in Bandung this Lebaran. I went to my husband's home town. but it doesn't matter for me. the most important thing is the spirit of lebaran itself.

Emine is my little kid's name. Emine is turkish name and it is Aminah in Indonesian and it means the trusted female. you have visited my blog adhyz, I think you know my real name. Back to the topic, My husband comes from Kudus, central java. where the Djarum company and Menara Kudus are. Have you ever been gone to Kudus Adhyz?

From what I read when I looked up lebaran and mudik online,it seems to be similar to our Thanksgiving, except our holiday is not so spiritual. I hope you have a safe journey and gain many spiritual blessings along the way.

Only what I read online, that it marks the end of Ramadan for Muslims and it is a time to celebrate. The site I read said that it is very important. It reminds me of Thanksgiving.

yea..we plan to go to Cirebon. I don't have much preparation about it. I used to go for few days in holiday. so i think the preparation just like usually. but the more important is the vehicle. make sure the vehicle is okay or i will get some troubles

i use my own vehicle. i will go on Friday after 'sholat Ied'. it helps me to avoid some traffic jam. it is miserable to be trap in traffic jam.
