....God didn't create the universe but it was actually a result of the inevitable laws of physics,British physicist Prof Stephen Hawking has concluded...he argues that God had nothing to do with creating the universe and that the “Big Bang”was just an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics."Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing,” he writes in his latest books.......what do you think? please reply

God created the universe and the galaxy and anything there is... Religion tells us why it was done and Science tells us how it was done... Simple, it's not a conflict between science and religion. It's actually a justification on how and why it was done.

Couldn't have said it any better....the answer should satisfy the believers and atheists too.

It's possible that there was a big bang and all these things, but they were planned. Something doesn't happen for no reason at all, and something doesn't come out of nothing. It's funny that people like crazy Stephen Hawking would say there is no God, and laugh at people who believe in a God, but they could believe in things even more impossible. It's easy to believe in a God. It takes great faith in magical miracles to believe that something would come out of nothing for no reason at all.

Being both a scientist and a Christian as well, I really don't think that either theory is entirely correct. Instead, I think that the way that the world that we know and love came about as some sort of a combination of the big bang theory and also the theory of creation. I know that there is no proof to back this up, but that is what I've come to believe to be the truth based on both the scientific education that I've received and also the theological education that I've had.

Its a good thought for atheists But I disagree. Well, There is always a reason for everything. Like when we drive a car , when we push the race pedal, it accelerates. So shall we say its due to the fact that engine makes it accelerate on pushing the pedal. It is governed by a law of mechanical engineering and the person who made that engine and invented the car has nothing to do with it, because now we have a simple law 'push the pedal and it will accelerate' and so we can just forget about the one who designed it so and made this law work. Would it ever existed if that mechanical engineer didn't created it? Same is the case with God and Universe. . We can give a reason for every activity of universe, like it is so due to gravity.. but who made the power of gravity so versatile that it is controlling the whole universe? Day & Night are due to the fact that earth rotates on its own axis.. Fine. But who rotated it for the very first time?? Weather changes are due to revolution of earth around sun..okay.. But who set this revolution for the very first time? So that is the problem, we just try to neglect the God the very moment we feel that we have figured out the reason for something. The universe could not possibly come into existence on its own. Something had to design it all and then put it into motion. That is beyond our ability to do, yet it is something that we can understand.

I agree with you! A nice explanation on your part. There is a popular saying, " God is in details". If we look around us, each and everything has its own charisma which I won't agree, got created by itself. The hand behind this universe is really a great mechanic with taste of beauty. Without someone to create, this existence is not possible. But I don't agree it to be some one in the form of human or any alien.

God is beyond Laws of physics and beyond Stephen Hawking. If Laws of physics were so perfect how he became physically warped? No I believe his mind is churning out things, which does not make sense.

ROFLOL the guy is a nut case. So there was a bunch of stuff that was all jumbled together in a mess and some how by the law of physics it just poofed into the creation we now live with and in. DNA just so happened? Right and I can put a bunch of screws, bolts, springs, nuts and other stuff in a big paper bag, shake it around and it is going to come out a perfectly made pocket or wrist watch or clock. Or maybe a Jigsaw puzzle will just poof come together all on it's own. If that were true as the dude claims then it would still be happening. Where there is creation there has to be a creator. I have yet to see a chocolate cake make itself and come out iced and looking pretty all by itself without some intelligent person putting all the needed ingredients together and pouring into a pan to bake for 34 minutes or so and then finishing it off with an iced frosting and decor. Go read the book of Job. And for all those who deny tell me who made you so wonderful and make everything mesh together and keeps things in balance so we don't fall of the earth or burn to crispy critters or freeze. Just because you cannot see something does not mean it is not there. So if you cannot see air there is none? If you cannot see gravity it does not exist? We know better and Knowing God is the same way.

I think he is just non believer person, because he can't see it, he never trust it until he is see, i hopes God can forgive him for that, and i hope he can realize that God is exist before it is too late for him ... He might be forget Who gives him a soul ...

When science can prove that combustion (which comes from what?) can make something from nothing... I'll think about believing them. So far no one can even make combustion from nothing, nor can they make dirt from nothing, nor can they make people from nothing.... nothing makes nothing...

I disagree with it, i believe that god is the creator of everything. He made us all, I have a strong faith with god and i wont question his existence. I respect also the belief of other people, some people really doesnt belive that god exists. But for me, i have many proof that god really exist and always god us no matter what conclusions everyone might have against him.

We really don't know the real facts, we read lots of Books and Human tend to believe it,or not so these are all plain speculations or theory..When our answers are base on the Bible then we use faith.which the nonbelievers dis agree..It's a complicated world no one knows the real happenings of the beginnings...some believe, some don't its just a Matter of choice....Thanks!

God created the universe - Let us think about this one for a moment. Universe - we are the Universe and there we created all scientific claims. Therefore I would accredit all people, science knowledge and the universe to God!

OK. If God has not created this universe who else? You should that man has not created by man because he is himself a creature. You say that universe is the result of inevitable laws of physics. Then who created laws of physics? The laws did not overnight become active.Who invested laws of physics. There should be some one who created laws of physics. There should be an author for every thing.Without author nothing springs up on its own.Do you know that science ends where philosophy begins. When you go on questioning you will reach a point when you cannot answer with reference to science.Best thing is "believe in God"

If you see with the eyes of science, then the answer will be no that god didn't created the universe. It is whole done by the science. And if you see from the eyes of religion and the answer will be that yes ,it is created by the god but the science name itself for the reason and gives false statement created by the scientists. But If you see from my eyes ,The answer will be it is done both by god and science , u know , PARTNERSHIP !!!

lol he's crazy, god made this planet so do you think he didn't created the whole universe itself?the bible is the proof but big bang doesn't have any proof that i happens..there are lots of crazy scientist nowadays, they just want to gain popularity while risking their souls.
