Have you seen the Ikea commercial?

This morning in my daily reminder on freekibble dot com, i got to see a video where in the UK they are having a wonderful commercial about 100 cats being let loose in an Ikea store.
it was so much fun to watch i had to share. but then again, some will probably say they've seen it. i just hope im not copying because i couldnt find anything on here about it.

Hi bunnybon7,
I have just seen it, I was wondering what all those cats doing before I realized it was an Ikea commercial, LOL! aren't they beautiful?

yes tamara, i think all cats are are just beautiful and wonderful. wish i knew if i could get one would coco get along with it.

Thank you for the link! I caught it on television downstairs just as my father was turning over, I love commercials that use animals, wonderful. After responding I will watch it and will bookmark the link. I love the meerkat commercial don't you? Simples eh... My aunt went out and bought a meerkat for me (stuffed!) He is sooooo cute.

I saw a link to where they were filming it - how cool is that? with my 28, I could've had over a quarter of their number handled - but some of mine are bad cats and I sure wouldn't have taken a chance they would be rude in the store...
However, Rygel would've been one of those up in the rafters!

yes thats what this link is to. about the filming it. i imagine a lot of cats were rude in the store but you know cats. they are a rambunctious and resourceful, fun animal and cant keep them out of much.

it may have taken patience for anyone that didnt care much for cats but i'll bet that anyone that loves cats as much as me it was pure joy for them.

Thanks for the link. My husband and I just got finished watching it....how cute! And the fact that they were running around in my favorite store - IKEA! I am sure that it too a lot of work to do, but how great it was to watch!

I also saw it on Freekibble.com. I thought it was a great idea, and kind of brave! I mean most people in charge of something like that would be thinking about the possible pee and poop the cats would leave. But the smart marketing will probably make up for any financial consequence of having 100 cats let loose in the store.

Oh my son and I loved this!!! We have three rescued cats and this was so fun to watch. I am not sure if I am impressed or shocked that the store would take a chance like that!! I think my cats (alone, let alone 100) would have broken a LOT of glass!!! Thanks for this, I had to pass it along myself!

Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoy commercials where they use animals. There is one on here occasionally that is African animals, I think it is an insurance commercial. It shows them getting along and I thought it was very thought provoking.

you are welcome and i'll tell you theres another kind of commercial i love and thats ones with good songs. only problem is, i find myself trying to look up the whole song or having it in my head for days which is aggravating at times.

I hadn't seen this before, but I really did enjoy watching it. I can tell you one thing for certain though, I don't think that I would have been one of those people that took their cats in for this. My cats can find some of the weirdest places to hide and I will admit that I would be afraid that they would never been found again until down the road somewhere when they started stinking because of their bodily functions.

I couldn't help but notice how many of those cats were long-haired and white or at least cream! Obviously NOT pound kitties! I'd like to see these folks use a herd of cats that I collected for them. LOL...Might not be so well-behaved.

yes i know what you mean. except for about 4 cats ive owned in the past all were pound or homeless kitties. and ive had like maybe 40, 50, cats over time through the years.
