Lady Gaga wore a dress made of meat (flank steak to be exact) to the MTV music awards. If you want to see it and read more about it you can see it here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/sep/13/lady-gaga-meat-dress-vmas What do you think of the meat dress? I think it is just an attention getting stunt. I don't think she really needs any more attention, so it just leaves me asking why any one would wear a dress made of meat. What do you think of Lady Gaga's meat dress.

Disgusting. I don't say this because I hate meat or because I am a PETA member (I AM NOT A MEMBER OF PETA), I say this because it's just tacky! I understand that she wants attention, but this is not the way to do it. There are so many other ways that she can gain attention, and this isn't it.

I agree. Not to mention how disgusting that is. I mean she had to sit down in that dress. Would you want to sit in raw meat. Even if it was dried out I am sure her legs started to sweat after sitting a while. Just disgusting.

SHE. HAS. PUBLIC. APPEAL. Why? I just don't get it. But I dare say Lady Gaga's name suits her extremely well.

Personally, this is kinda gross. I'm not a vegetarian or anything, but why would you wear such a thing in public? I think honestly she stole this idea from a video that was making fun of her on the internet where it said she would probably wear a bathing suit made out of raw meat! Really, the only thing I have to say after reading this is that hopefully she didn't eat the steak afterwards. D:

LOL while I do think it is gross I had the same thought you did, I will bet money that the smell of the raw meat was disgusting. Especially under all the hot lights while on stage.

The thing is absolutely not to my taste (pardon my pun), but I don't really care what she wears. I wonder if she is planning on barbacuing her dress after the awards?

I don't know what she think, but she just over do it this time with her outfit. Whos' idea is it? In my opinion Lady Gaga just try to get some cheap publicity. How long can she go with this attitude? I'm not a pop music listener but I just can't help looking her outfit when it was piblished all over internet. I guess if people are sick of her, then she will realise it takes a lot more than a cheap publicity to have success in music industry for a long time. Just try to adopt the approach used by the heavy metal legend like Iron Maiden, Helloween, Metallica, Megadeth & etc.. Let your music do the publicity and I'm sure you will be successful in the music industry. Lady Gaga? I doubt she will last for 10 years.

Peoples in the same world dying from hunger and on the other hand such disgusting publicity stunts. She has done a cheap move. We need to think about these differences.

When I first saw the pictures of it I was just speechless to tell you the truth. I'm a Lady Gaga fan and everything but I just don't know what to think. Won't it stink? And is going to waste? Because I can sure feed my family for more than a week with all that meat. Before the show I was wondering how she would top off her other costumes but this just takes the cake. I mean wow! Of course she is different yeah but wow! I hope she took a five hour bath after that. I don't think it's hygienic to wear meat like that on your body.

Well, she is one of those performers that stands out no matter where she is. Her outfits are outrageous but you have to give her credit for imagination and creativity.Whether you like her or don't, you have to admit that she is an interesting person and not one that you would likely forget.

I actually don't understand the fashion statement of Lady Gaga. It is alright if she wants to be unique or different fromthe other artists but sometimes she overdresses. Well, the meat dress is not fine with me.

One word: GROSS! I've got to admit that she's weird in the sense that she loves to reveal parts of her body when she's singing and now what? Wearing a dress made out of a cow skin??? Oh my god! What the heck! I don't think the meat has gone through any chemical cleansing right? Oh gosh. I can't imagine millions and millions of bacteria on her. YUCKS!

I missed the MTV music awards this year. If the highlight of the show was Lady Gaga wearing a meat dress, i don't think that i could have missed too much.

Well, in a place like the MTV music awards, with all of the artificial light and stuff it was probably super hot, so wearing raw meat in a place like that might mean that it will start rotting quicker. Probably that dress was stinking, but I don't really know. Apart from that, I find it an original idea.

I feel sick to this dress. If Lady Gaga wanted to got attention in public, then she won because this kind of dress is very weird. And I think it is really not comfortable to put on flesh on the body. It is dirty and it is a kind of big waste. I love China

I heard about this on the news and I saw the news clip and I thought that it was quite funny! She is strange in her ways but I guess she is unique as well! I'm not sure that it was real meat, I may be wrong but I thought they said it was fabric that had been cut in a certain way in order to look like meat! I don't know if you noticed her platform shoes, they were supposed to look like armedillos! Anyway, I give her credit for having the courage to dress the way she does, I cannot think of many people that would want to dress the way she does, perhaps she does enjoy the publicity anyhow. I think by now we all know that Lady Gaga doesn't care what other people think or her or how she dresses. I will say that she is a very creative individual, but some of her "outfits" aren't even clothes and it's a bit sad. I don't think it's proper for her to go out in public half naked or every event she goes to. Apart from the meat dress at the VMA's she wore very decent stuff for being Lady Gaga and looked lovely for her standards. The meat dress was a bit to out there for my liking though. She also had a meat purse and hat...that is pushing it as well. There has been so much talk of this, and no doubt people will be talking about this one for years.

I wonder how PETA will react to her. Poor animal he/she sacrifice to be slaughter just to be a dressed by Lady Gaga. How awful this world can be!

Well, first of all, Lady Gaga is a unique artist. What her fashion is and what songs she makes reflects her personality. It would probably be bad if we judge her directly on the outside (i think im getting far from the question ^^,).So, i think Gaga's meat dress is...ahmmm...a "head turner". It's a stunning work of art, not to mention, she is probably the first artist to wear that kind of thing...(Correct me if im wrong).

I really feel that she is out of her mind. Even attention getting stunts have to have a line that you don't cross. She saw the line and walked right over it. Is this really what we want our young people to aspire to be?
