In ancient times news used to be carried by parrots and messengers. After invention of printing press news was printed in phamphlets and distributed. Gradually news paper came in vogue. Now we get news from news papers, through radio and of late in TV channels. We can get news through any one of these means. Many like reading news in papers regularly as soon they get up in the morning. That is only once but in some places hourly newspapers are available. Then TV channels.News channels like BBC CNA FOX telecast news all the 24 hrs.Similarly radio station allover the word broadcast news at regular intervals all through the day.News papers are not for busy people who find no time to go through them.Similarly radios are also not useful to those who are on the move always. They can listen transisters but where is time for them?.TV is for those who do not want to move from one place. But one should sit and watch. As far as I am concerned I like listening radio for news for one thing I can hear news and attend to my domestic duties as well which is not possible ether with news papers or with TV.What about you....... ?

Hi chayapathys, every one of us must be having the news either of those ways you have mentioned, yes the preference is by what means is what matters, I really do wait for the News paper as soon as it delivered I pounce upon it, and at times when there is some kind of national holiday or holiday due to some festivity the paper does not arrive, its really hurts, due to the habit of reading it daily is some kind of addiction which does not get satisfied even I go through the TV News channel. Most of the time I have noticed on the electronic media particularly the TV its like a stereo type and very cyclic one as if on certain time the same old news comes on its like seasonal one particularly our local news channel. Happy mylotting.

Is reading addiction is good or bad? I think it is good one,and one must pick it up as early as possible so we the elder one should encourage our little ones to read it out loud as muck as you like. Happy mylotting.

What you say is correct. Why children? Many people do not read anything because of TV.They prefer TV and not news papers or books. As you rightly said we should encourage children to read.It is a very good habit which is gradually vanishing...

Most of the time it's TV if I am not online. I used to read News Paper but now a days it's only electronic media which I prefer to go with for any news. I start my day with TV news and visit news websites at work for news.

Therefore you see Tv and read News papers for daily news.No hearing business. Thus the radio has become out dated. Not only to you but to all.If at radio is on it is only for cinema music and nothing else.Earlier in my village people used to listen radio for entertainment dramas and music news etc. There also no one listens to radio now days.In future what will be the media to convey news...
