So i am going to give a token to a speaker at graduation and i want some tips on how to say thanks and that i appreciate. I would also be glad if you give some big words which can amaze him so he sees that my school was good for something. Any help please. As soon as possible.

Tell him how the words he said impacted your life. A heartfelt, short note will tell him more than false words of congratulations. If he touched your soul at all, let him know. He will want to know if he made a difference in your attitude, your goals or a personal situation. Be sincere. I remember a speaker that made a difference in my life and whose words still resound. I was privileged to get to speak to him face to face and I told him how he made a difference in my attitude and how he made a difference in my daily life. While I'm sure he's heard that many times, he let me know that each time he heard it spurred him on to higher goals. He truly appreciated it. Speak from the heart or not at all.

You're right. If you can't say something like that and must say something anyway, tell him you're sure he has made a solid impression on those he talked to and you appreciate his speech and his sharing his ideas with everyone. Sometimes it's tough to find sincere words to perform your duties, especially when the service performed didn't mean much to you. But the guy worked hard preparing and giving the speech so recognize that and thank him for his effort to reach out and try to make a difference in peoples' lives.

But what if he didnt make me feel anything. i cant say how he truly makes me feel in front of all those parents. That would truly be disrespectful, dont you think?

No need for big words if you don't speak big words. Just say thank you. Be honest

What if you dont mean it. I keep asking that same questions. I'm sure you cant tell him that you hate the speech, that would be totally disrespectful. So please can you help me write a thank you thing

hi rehard would it not be better to be yourself just the way you are. erudite and well spoken, and postulate the results of your schooling so this speaker will know you are not just using someone else's big words. big words in themselves do not make an amazing student, hard work which I am sure you have done, and loads of self esteem. yOU REHARD,are somebody you are unique, nobody else is just like you. Smart and charming, and self assured. You will tell the speaker that you thank him from the bottom of your heart, and wish him well as he sails forth on some new seas.I have one big word but I must look it up and get back to you. good luck God bless happy graduation day.

Sweetie, why on earth do you want to amaze him? In any way. "I thank you so kindly, i really appreciate it." You can add, " i am swooning with delight" But that would be taking it too far, though. There. Short and sweet. And impressive. TATA.

I can only give you some phrases as I am not sure how this speaker contributed to your school but some direct and interesting words like: Thank you for being part of our lives, Thank you for supporting and celebrating our lives with us over the years Our graduation was made all the more special, with your attendance today, Because we were able to share it with you. We will always hold you close to our hearts, and we will remember today very fondly, Hope some of it helps, I tried.

What is the first thing you think of when you think of getting this award? How does it make you feel? I wouldn't worry about the large words. I would worry about enunciating your words and the feeling that you express. These mean alot more than fancy words. These are truth and wisdom.
