Triond have high standards and you are expected to meet them. I see that you already have many articles published but it's possible that Triond have recently become more strict and are declining more articles that don't meet their standards. You should be very careful to review your articles before you publish them. Use a good spell checker (and a dictionary or thesaurus); be meticulous about punctuation and capitalisation and accept that, if it's not good enough for Triond, then it's certainly not going to be good enough for your readers! You want your articles to be read, right? Good grammar and spelling is vital: If an article is hard to read, people will not read it!

I agree, Catana, some of the stuff there is very low quality. I'm sure that it depends a great deal on the editor and it is possible that they have recently employed some new editors. I do have to say, Johnpillai, that, even though you have followed an extra course for writing and allowing for the fact that you are not an 'English professional', it really should be plain that 'plan' and 'plane' are two completely different words and that ALL sentences begin with a capital letter in English and that the first person pronoun 'I' is also always capitalised. I would certainly say that what you have published already is original (I cannot, of course, comment on what has been rejected). Sites, such as Triond, use software to determine whether an article is sufficiently different from what has already been published anywhere on the web. It's possible that you have, unfortunately, written something which is similar enough to something which has been published not to have passed the censors. Do not give up, Johnpillai. Always strive to improve your English. That is really what sites like Triond and MyLot should be seen as: on the one hand places which set standards to which we should aspire and, on the other, places where the standards may not be so rigorous but where we can, nevertheless, learn about the art of writing English.

I have two months experience in triond. i was very comfortable with triond. More than 25 articles of mine were published by triond. most of them are accepetd less than in 30 minutes. i use the same style. if they change any policy they should informe us. some times they say, sorry we need original contants. My articles are very original. i write only my day to day experience. My articles are never hard to read. I am not an English proffi. Ii use very simple English. everybody can read them. I followede an Extra cause for writing. I am always careful about my punctuation marks. i don#t think this can be a reason. if one or tow of my articles are rejected i can accept. But all of my articles are refected this month.

Actually, Owlwings, Triond has very low standards for acceptance. Have you read some of the stuff they publish? But whether an article is refused or accepted probably depends on the editor who happens to get it. The editors on sites aren't always qualified to judge the writing. Johnpillai, maybe you made some money from your writing there, but I suspect you just lucked out for some reason. 80 to 100 words is *not* an article. Maybe if you work on your grammar and learn how to write articles, you'll have more success with getting your work accepted.

....Hi there johnpillai, I too write over at Triond and have had an article or two sent back as unacceptable, mostly for spelling errors. It makes your article look unprofessional if there are a lot of spelling errors and it interferes with the reader's concentration. Errors in grammar would do the same thing. If you are in a rush to get an article published one might be inclined to make errors. When I type late at night I make many spelling errors and have to recheck all the time. As writers we have to be very self-critical. We also have to have very thick skins. You asked for help or information to help you. Analyze your discussion paragraph here. What do you see? We have to be our own first critic to see what others will see when they read. Here's what I see. The word declain should be decline...articles should be article...your i's should be capitalized...grammer should be spelled grammar.....plese should be spelled please. These are all mistakes within your paragraph. Now what you did in posting this was to share with us a possible reason your articles are being rejected. Perhaps you are not as diligent now as with your first articles at Triond. As I stated in essence you must help yourself and be more critical and you must be objective with your work. You must be able to write well to have gotten so many articles published at Triond. So go back to the way you wrote earlier. You should always have a dictionary handy as well, I always have mine by my side when writing. An article should be reviewed no less than three times. You want your best on the market place. So stick with it but review, review, review. Writing is not an easy task but if you like to write you should stick to it. Every good writer has had rejections many times, but you keep trying, so don't give up. But you have to have a third eye to see what you might have missed the first time. "o) Take care and good luck.

Hi jhon, i am not here to discourage you and i have come to this topic through darshika. As you have mentioned that your 40 articles are already published but latest articles are declined, i think spelling and grammatical mistakes are the major cause of it. You should be conscious to it as i have seen mistakes here too. Don't misunderstand, we are here with you. Take care.

There are no chance to have spelling mistakes. because they have spell check on submiting board. Some times they say my articles are duplicares. My articles are very fresh. i just write my day to day eyperiences about childrn and parenting. Their way of rejecting make me loose my confidence.

I know sometimes even good writers commit spelling errors. Their minds run faster than their fingers, typing ever word that comprises their article. As a result, spelling errors and omitted words are experienced- perceived as grammatical error. The truth there is, these errors are simply unintentional. My suggestion is to write your articles in the Word document first so you can spell-check and review it before you submit them.

What you state in your 1st pragraph in perfectly correct. You seem to be a experienced writer. Your statememt suits my post in mylot. Yes i accept there is a lot of spelling mistakes in it. i was in a very bad, discuraged, and dipressed mood when posting it. But when writing articles in triond there is a spell check just like word or word document. We used to check our spelling by using it. So there are no chance for spelling mistakes. Ant Triond never deleate any article for spelling mistake. They just ask us to correct them. I have experience in it. Thanking for your ploeasing answer.

Hi, I have been trying Triond without any luck. I guess my writing has plenty of improvements to be made. So, I have decided that I will rather focus on other article writing sites. These days I am finding hubpages quite interesting.
