Horrible, isn't it? Almost like nightmare coming true. But can you imagine if internet is cut off for a whole day all over the world. No sharing of information, no facebook, no Google, no mylot and most importantly billions and billions of dollars of business will get hampered. What do you think mate, what will happen?

Maybe the stock market will crash and we will end up in an economic depression. But the world would be very silent, I'm sure.

Well, I don't think that a day without internet could be that critic, but in my case I would feel kind of anxious not being able to check my e-mail, as that's one of my ways of working. However, it's just a day, so I would have to wait patiently until it pases and find a different thing to spend time. Maybe going out to let the sun tan my skin or something

I dare say that the world will collapse provided internet all over the globe is cut off for a whole day. Everything will fall into big mess. But it won't happen, though. waazula.com

Well a lot of people depend on the internet for their job. So it would be damaging for them for example, if they're a freelancer on the internet. And also it'd be kind of boring. I even watch the tv schedules on the internet, so I wouldn't know what to watch on tv either. Of course for me it wouldn't be such a big deal. I've been without the internet before as well. And I could always find something to do. People would talk more face to face.

Scary thought that the world is so dependent on internet and that a simple little "switch" or crash could literally crash the entire world! FOrget Mylot and Facebook... those would be the least of the worries...electric grids, banking, utilitiy this and that, military stuff...a day without the internet would probably cripple the world for days to come! Chase Morgan bank just recently had a "down time" and you couldn't go online that day to pay your bill or do anything with the bank. No notice, just something they found out and then sent everyone an email I guess... that is how I found out about it. It was mainly a "we were "down' on this day so any activity done that day will be accepted the next day/date and no late fees will be charged. Thank you and have a nice day". Good thing I don't do much with that bank!

Than everyone will have to start using their phone, go to the library for information, etc. Problem is that not a lot is possible anymore - I realise this when I have to spend some time without internet. I feel handicapped because I can't send an email for work and have to call, and sometimes its not possible. And so on.

Well I believe it will give a serious or little problem to many companies and individual. But if it's really guaranteed to be only a day and I think it should be ok for me then. I know I'm also earning money online but then I can just use that whole day without internet to sleep or spend time with my family or do anything I can. But yes I still believe it would give a problem to some people and companies as I said above.

For one day? I think we would survive. If it were longer, then I think it would cause a ripple effect through the economy and even perhaps National Security. I don't think it is unreasonable to assume that this may happen one day. Overall people are so hooked on the internet (myself included) they would be lost. As another myLotter answered, they simply send a letter than email and go to the post office. I wonder if grid systems, and utilities would be affected. Everything is so interconnected with the internet these days, it is hard to say what services would still be available.

Hey internet is a very important part of our daily life. So if internet cuts from the globe for one day then their will be creates many problems and many technology not works properly due to unavailability of internet. And also peoples face many problems and whole world’s security systems also can be stopped. So I think this will be a bad sign for whole worlds.
