Colorless Kite

Warning: Answer this thread at your own risk for the great god may declare this to be a sin. I have to admit that I never thought I'd admit that I am feeling green. The issues behind the fall from color is not needed for sharing, and I shall keep that for my lovely intimate discussions. It is safe to say that even after having returned after a much needed sabbatical and half the grace restored I am still only three marks above half way to the golden gates. It is disappointing to exhaust ones self in efforts that are either unnoticed or not rewarded, or even punished. It is difficult at times to look through the window and see so many plain kites lacking air, some not even lifting from the ground to be praised as I struggle against the currents. It is not to say that I should become arrogant with self-praise, but it is to say that at times I have a deep sadness that wonders if I truly am worthy at all of such color. Perhaps I am deemed to be a pasty color, or even without color because I do not deserve the reward of such beauty. Namaste-Anora

hi anora no God will not declare this a sin, and this is my second attempt at the same response. firtst one disappeared. Sometimes when we struggle and make great efforts that go unnoticed and not rewarded we need to remind ourselves that our efforts a re our own reward. revel in the world of colors as He gave us this gorgeous world with all its colors for our pleasure and our keeping. Yes you are on of His children and thus worthy of the most beautiful of colors. Glory in them and help take care of our wonderful world.

Hatley- I saw both messages, and I think you're right that we just have to remind ourselves that our efforts are worthwhile. And that we cannot simply give up when times get tough. Namaste-Anora

Perhaps it is the trolls or the little voices that want you to think you are not worthy. Don't listen to them!

Colourless kite maybe but I see translucence and through the translucence all the colours of the earth are collected and showing through and it is a wondrous and beautiful thing. Your green is a vibrant green and the colour denotes life. Enjoy the colour but disregard it's meaning here for to my way of thinking it is quite nonsensical and meaningless.

Ms.Tickle- Thanks for the reminder! I think I'll take that one and plaster it on my virtual office because you're so right. I'd forgotten that green symbolized life, growth, and development! Namaste-Anora

Hi, anora. Honestly, I was having a hard time trying to understand your discussion because there is so much in between the lines and I am not that keen enough yet to get it. Until I read the following response here that you are feeling a little down lately. I wish I could be somehow of help in comforting you because you are one of my favorite people here in mylot. Just like savy and some of my favorite people, you are one of my silver linings here because of your wisdom and honest heart. Maybe time is trying to test you at this moment but I want to say that I know you deserve more. Things are always going to get worse before they get better and I know you are strong enough to surpass your trials. I have faith in you my friend. Just trust yourself. You are one unstoppable force.

What's all this about? Where did it even come from? Feeling green? Why don't you feel you deserve such a reward? I would never of thought this of you! And if the great god does declare it a sin? What then? And, Hon, you do deserve such color. You are one of the good gals. you exude sort of a golden yellow.

I would hope that even though this is a good way to go that if you feel passionate about a given subject or happenstance that you would bring it out in discussion form to let us all have a swing at it and see what comes out of it all. I certanly understand the wanting to stay with in the safe circle but I hope you reach out when it is important to do so.

CE- Oh, I was being reflective about the lovely shade of green I am currently on this site. I think I have contributed and yet was wondering if maybe my contributions were somehow out there, or not the norm and that the color was reflective of that. I was wondering if I needed to change something. Some have suggested avoiding the "hot" topics and I'm beginning to see their point of view. I also think that staying inside the circle of friends for responses may be what is needed so that I can avoid any of the negative. I'm glad to see you again. Namaste-Anora

Well, I tend to think that all people are worthy of at least some color in their life. I know that it is difficult at times to realize that we are worthy of being beautiful in our lives, but there are values unique to each person in this world that makes them special and those are the reasons that we should be able to have beauty. If I was to be able to choose the color for myself, I would choose purple because that is the color that is the most representative of who I am. I am a light in the darkness and a very loyal friend as well.

Dora- I love that use of color! I think I would have to choose white then because I would hope that I am a beacon of light to those around me in the turbulent seas of life. Namaste-Anora

I am intrigued by the idea of a colorless kite, as I once had someone tell me that if there was such a color as "no color" that would be the one chosen for the walls of our home. I really do not think we always get what we deserve. Sometimes our efforts are their own reward. I

Gerty- I think that is sometimes the most difficult thing to keep in mind as a human, that our own efforts are the best rewards. At times I know I fall into that place where I look to my peers for affirmation, and that is not always the healthiest. I have to keep in mind that I am on the right path for me. Namaste-Anora

hi namaste No I do not think He will deem this to be a sin. I gueess sometimes we have to let our best efforts be our own reward as we cannot force others to notice us or to reward us, anyway' if we want to be happy, we have to go within and find our own' happiness. I cannot make anyone else happy even with all my love 'and trying as our happiness comes from deep within our own selves.Yes you are worthy of all glorious color as He made us and gave us this wonderful colorful world for our pleasure and for our stewardship.Reveal in the world of colors and let it restore you to happiness.

I am not afraid to respond and I understand your 'struggle' inside. If I could help, I would, but only my simple self will not do much good. I really hope the Mighty sees your effort and others, take hold of the issue and straighten it out. It has been discussed many times, so I don't understand why the Mighty did not interfere. I just hope you are not loosing hope. It might do you good to change your circle of environment in term of friends and how you respond to others. Let's pray for the best.

Jennyze- Thank you so much for the offer to pray for the situation, that is so very kind of you. I am not out of hope, not yet. I keep coming back during my scheduled time to work and plug away trying to figure out new ways to share information. I also like to check in and see what interesting things friends are up to in their lives. It is a pleasure to have you in my circle of friends. Namaste-Anora

Hi Anora Like a child God too has coloured his Prized Possesions only.Had there been no colours the univers would have lost sight.A kite is bound to have a colour of its own otherwise it will become another flying object but not a kite....a kite is born to do colors flying.. and thats what u do ...to me u r the kite drenched in rainbow riding high above the clouds. Now I am not sure of comitting a sin or worship. have a good day.

Cherry- I love your response of being a rainbow. What a beautiful analogy for life! Yes, we should all be ones to soar and fly, and help our fellow beings soar and fly as well. Namaste-Anora
