When we are out of our home then we can still remain connected to the internet and that way is our cell phone. It is the best way to surf on internet when we are out, and also it is a chep method as it doesn't cost much. I most of the time surf on my cell phone more than a computer because of no accessive bill and mobility. Do you use your cell phone to surf on internet?

I do not have a cell phone having a big screen and good graphics enough to view or use internet, though I do surf internet on my cell sometimes. I use my fathers cell for surfing internet as his cell phone is a good one. I use cell phone internet only when my PC internet is not working for some reason. I do think that cell phone internet is a great supplementary tool to PC internet, Though it can't be a primary internet for usage. I have friend who use cell phone internet after connecting the phone to PC and using phone modem. But mobile internet is way to slow and not comparable with PC internet. I use mobile internet as a secondary tool only when my PC internet is not working or when I am away from home and want to check out my updates on the internet.

Well, that's really sad that you don't have a good enough phone to surf internet on it, but anyway you have had the experiece of surfing online om your father's cell phone. And cell phone internet is not made for connecting it with a pc as it is very very slow but the speed on mobile is fast enough. Thanks for your response.

I tried using my phone to surf the web, but only once. I don't find it very practical or intuitive. The connection is too slow, I don't want to type with a keypad and I refuse to buy an overpriced phone (which includes most phones on the American market). Besides that I think it's just not worth the price (cell phone rates in the United States are HUGE ripoffs). However, I'm in the minority.

Yea the speed of intermet is slow in cell phone . But here in india the data rate plans for internet on phone are very cheap and that's the reason why i use my cell phone more than a computer. But as a said typing using a keypad is a big problem. Thanks for your response.

i just got a phone that will even allow me to get online! I do use it some, but from what I have seen they are still limited in some capacities. I have found it useful though to check out a few things. Especially football scores and weather. IT was cool bc when my dad and I traveled to go get my stuff I just punched in the weather channel and watched the forecast for the region to see if we needed to tarp the load or not! Awesome!

If I don't have my laptop with me,then I'll use my cellphone for surfing the internet. Nowadays the browser on the smartphones are getting better and better and there are tonnes of free wifi hotspots out there.Surfing the internet through the phone is getting more enjoyable compared to the old days where the browser is laggy and takes forever to load. Cheers.

Although using a desktop or laptop is still my recommended way of accessing the internet, it cannot be denied that having a phone with browsing capabilities is recommended too. This is advisable to those people who are dependent on the internet, like me. I have just bought a new phone with this feature and I think I'm loving it.

Yea computer is still best for everyone, but cell phone is a good alternative option of computer or laptop to get access to internet. No doubt that computer is more better than cell phone , as the internet speed in cell phone is a little slowdr than that in the computer. Thanks for your response.

Yes, I'm always on the go and surf a lot via my mobile phone when I dont have a computer and notebook around. Here in my country, we have unlimited mobile data plan. Just pay a fixed subscription fee and you can surf unlimited. Very convenient as I can search for any information no matter where I am.

Well you are doing similar to me then, i also access mylot mostly from my cell phone so as to save electricity, we know how much electricity a computer and cpu consumes, whatever you earn on mylot would be gone in your electricity bills, so its an intelligent idea to acces those sites on cell phones which can be easily accessed by your cell phone. Thanks for your response.

Right now i have Nokia 3600slide, but i bought it two years back and now a days more advanced and cheap phones with good features have come. I think you should go for a symbian applications based phones and download a opera mini software in that phone and you are ready to access almost everything. Thanks for your response.

Yes, I do. I use my cell phone to go online, especially during my working hour. I find it very convenient to use cell phone to surf the net when computer is inconvenient to be in place. It does not cost much for the operator I am using, which is around 0.01% of my salary per day.
