Is it true...? Red colour attracts girls !!

Hi mylotters,
Day before yesterday, when I was browsing I just found one article regarding men who wears red colour dress will be attracting more girls..And it is proven by a research done by University of Rochester and other institutions..
I never thought of people will do research in these things too..
While reading this I just remembered a movie in which the boy wearing red shirt goes to propose a girl...and the girl too say you are looking great in red shirt..
..
But I never know this before reading this article..
Whats your thought on this..is it really true ..?

I don't think that applies to everyone. Maybe it worked for that particular individual. It really depends where you are and when it is. If everyone is wearing bright colors then you won't stand out if you wear bright colors. You can try wearing red and see if women are attract to you because you wear red.

In their research their were some boys wearing red shirts and some other colours..when girls asked they said they were attracted more by red shirts..

Lol, I don't believe that. Though in some extents, red is always supposed like that. For instance, in football games, the goalkeeper is suggested to wear in red. By wearing red custom, the opponents will tend to shoot the ball to his body straightly. So, the goalkeeper will be easy to get the ball. But in girl case, I don't know whether it really works or not. Try that, bro, and tell me later :-p.

maybe for some other girls. but for me im not attracted to the color red. I'm more attracted to the color white, it looks really neat and clean! hahahahhaha red is ok, but i prefer white=) most especially if the guy wearing it has a fair complexion.

I am also a girl and i never thought that red attracts more women when wear by guys.
Well,i like guys who wears white shirt or black depends on his complexion of course.
Red is never attractive to me when wears by a guy.
Maybe the research is not that accurate or,they just done in a certain place.

I don’t think that red color always attract girls but I think they like pink colors and they attracted by it. But sometimes there is different-2 choice of every girls. So it is very difficult to say that what the particular colors they like are. Because I have also many female friends and their choices are different in colors.

With reference to your query, I can say that red colours do attracts the attention of many. As this colour really captures the eye of the beholder. It does not matter who wears a colour red, whether a male or a female, once a red colour of clothes was being worn, it tends to captivate the attention of the one seeing it.

I don't think that it is any colour that attracts the girls, or if you are a girl, the boys. I think it is more to do with the personality and to be attractive, I have learned that it is best to be interested in a potential partner and not try and show one self off as a "good catch". People like other people who are interested in them. Whether they feel attracted towards them, is really a mystery that can only be lived, but rarely explained. _Derek

I am thinking hard and I do not believe I have ever seen any man that I know wearing red. I had a red sweater once. A research study that I read once said that people of either gender like people best if they wear turquoise (blue-green) and that people prefer walls painted in burgundy and grey. I prefer white walls myself, and blue shirts on guys.

Hiya gany,
Red is a vibrant full of life colour and is and attractive colour nice to look at. I think that they are right. You can attract others wearing it too. I like Red but I like other version of the colour too like Magenta. I often wear the colour Magenta also love blue green colours. But Red is a very good colour to put you in an optimistic mood and you feel more sociable as well. I often wear a Red Jacket as well.

Hi Gany- that is amusing. Red is a very conspicuous color, and unusual on boys because you hardly find guys wearing red. That may be the thing that gets a guy wearing red shirt the attention from girls. Beyond that ... it is BS and you know it. :) I like pinks, peaches, and shades of yellow and green. :)

I don't know if red attracts girls, but I know it is my sisters' favorite color. I know it is easy to see the color red than other colors. I know that people tends to look at me when I'm wearing red, maybe it is because it is easier to spot, it kind of stands out.

No offense, but I think it's ridiculous. As a female, I can tell you that the color of a guy's shirt has no bearing in how appealing he is to me. In fact, I think a lot of guys look better in blue than red. I think the people who did that study wasted their time and money.

Red is used to fight bulls. It is an attracting color. Notice I said attracting not attractive. I don't care for the color red. I think it makes women look cheap. Red lipstick and all. FOr men it is attracting. It does look pretty slick and attractive. It also shows up on a scan. Hehe

I think that not true,because women like or love men cause he is handsome or he is very smart and good looking.but,if there are article like that purpose that's true.
