For the writers, how many sites do you write on?

I personally only write for just a couple sites that have have low minimum payout because I don't write a lot. I like writing on sites with lower restrictions on what I can write about as well. Writing was not a strong suit growing up, or something I can easily do. So it's nice to get a little bit of extra income from extra sources I'm not skilled in. I've been wondering how many writing sites most people use, and why they choose that amount?

hi! i am new here in MyLot and this is my first post ever. :) ok, i write primarily on Triond. It's easier to promote articles there. besides, there is an existing community where you can ask those people to look at your articles. my secondary writing site is Bukisa. they pay higher than triond, though cash out is higher too.

Just two sites for me. Triond is my main one, Bukisa is my secondary one. I make about 30-50 dollars a month on Triond, and about 10 dollars a month on Bukisa. I am planning on making at least 100 dollars a month on Triond by the end of this year(at the rate I am going it seems plausible :) All I basically write is short little recipes, in my spare time only.

Well it's now 2 days since I posted an article on Triond, but they hadn't accepted it yet. It's still pending. How long does it take to get it published?

First one usually takes 1-2 days. Also depends on what kind of article it is though, recipes for me get accepted in less than 10 minutes, but other things take me a day or so.

I write for a few sites like Bukisa, Squidoo, Hubpages. But I'm most active on Triond. I think I need to move away from my comfort zone and explore other grounds. Which sites are you writing for?

Hi 2EarnMoney2, Before find out about Mylot, I was writing exclusively on Triond and of course, I still do write there. I enjoy writing on both these sites. The fun part about Triond is there is residual earnings. If I don't visit for a while I still can earn just from people viewing my work. The writing sites take up a lot of time because you have to response to others or you have to have a creative mind ope to an idea about what to write. Therefore, two sites are just enough for me right now.

I write for Helium and Wikinut for now. I used to write for Triond, but then I stop. I earn so little there. I am now trying out poetry vibe. Anyone knows about that?

I stick to Helium and Demand Studios these days. I have checked out Odesk and Elance, but I feel like the amount of work you have to do to get a job just isn't worth it; it cuts into how much money I'm earning, and I don't have that much spare time. On Helium there is a marketplace where you can submit articles which, if they get chosen by a publisher, can earn you up to $200 for an article.

Hi 2earnmoney, I started with Helium and Associated Content, back when Associated Content still paid international writers. I would post in Helium, then repost the same content in Associated Content. I wrote a few original content on Hubpages and repost a few duplicate content too. AT this moment, I write mainly for Triond and Infobarrel. I think it is good to diversify, and have a few income streams. I prefer to build up a bulk of articles before seeking new websites to post articles. As long as the seo knowledge is good, the articles will attract readers regardless of where they are published.

I write for three sites, because if I write for more than three I won't be able to keep track of them all, and the ones I write for do pay, so it works well for me.

I am not a professional writer.I only work in paid forum sites. However I write more here in Mylot because it is probably the only site pays it members for participation. There are some other paid forum sites where I spend a little time to get a handsome Pocket money 1 Extreme Surfs ( It pays for just typing a comment of 10 to 12 words) 2 T D D ( Most of us here might be familiar with this site ) 3 The Cash Chat 4 Earning Palace I haven't tried Triond and Helium yet for the simple as I have mentioned earlier I am not a professional writer.Anyways Have a nice day Regards Saurav

I write on three sites, although I will be starting my fourth soon. I write on Bukisa, Associated Content and Triond. (The new one I will be trying out is Factoidz). I write on them for different things. For example, articles that I like I post on Bukisa, small snippets of poetry or just general information goes on Triond and I do the task board on Associated Content and claim articles to write for them. I'm not sure what I'll be posting on Factoidz, but we'll see :) I guess I just chose that amount because I love to write and I like separating the articles from each other.

I am considering writing for money (articles and such). Can you please tell me which one(s) you write for and how easy is it, and how do I get started? Any pointers to get me going?.

At this time I am only actively doing freelance work for a contractor. I am just not disciplined enough. I think I have memberships on about five other sites, not counting here and Gather and Sidetick, which are more social for me than anything else. Where do you write? I have one hub up on hub pages, and I have twelve articles up on Helium.

I don't give anything about writing sites with minimum payouts and things like that. I prefer Squidoo, just a little link love and an article is guaranteed top 10 material for 75% of all keywords. That gets you insane traffic that can be converted to buyers and referrals easily. Squidoo also gives a little compensation for what they make of off you. I get some pocket money of off them but much more from the readers I converted into referrals for programs like Kooday and Cash Gopher. ( had over 100 added up)

There's Bukisa.com where you can post your article but you need build an audience first to earn very well. There's also odesk.com where you get legal online writing jobs.

glad to make comments about it .but it's a pity that i have never taken up some site paying to write articles.since i am not a native man .sometimes it happens that part of sites don't stand for people from China .in addition ,so many scams exist on the internet ,i suffered again and again ,most of my efforts bring no pay ,most of such sites call for both patience and time consuming .eventually i did nothings in vain.time wasting seems so cruel to me .i just dare not to make a try . nice to meet you !
