but which do you find yourself going to first? For information which site do you enjoy most. YouTube, wikipedia, locatetv, snopes, yelp, etc. What site do you navigate toward for information and research?

I have not heard of some of these. I do not regard YouTube as necessarily informational. I usually end up on Wikipedia, even if I go to some other places as well.

Hi G G. YouTube is fabulous. Ofcourse it is famous for music and all but it also has great videos on the secret socities( i.e.the bilderbergs) and political stuff too. You can find nearly anything on there. Those college downloads I was talking about recently are there too.

I guess it's a combination of wikipedia and youtube, but only for a first glance, to accommodate with a certain subject. A serious research requires some serious material.

For my own use I usually go to youtube or wikipedia. For school research I go to college databases. There are several links out of my school's database library to other colleges throughout the world. It really takes a lot of searching that way though versus the keyword search on youtube or wikipedia. You can search by keywords but I never get what I am looking for that way in those databases..lol

Great! Did you catch my discussion about MIT offering free online data to anyone for free. You can get alot of it off YouTube. I was pretty amazed. Several colleges across the country and world have added to it as well. Pretty interested I thought for people like me who are self educated.
