Bring your senses under control

Friends, if you want to regain your constitutional position of unlimited happiness, you must bring your senses under control because as long as you allow them to control you, you will remain subject to the fourfold misery of birth, death, old age, and disease. Controlled senses means to engage the senses in the service of the master of the senses, the Almighty, by whatever names you call. In other words be the master of your senses, not the slave of your senses. Please share your views. Thank you so much in advance. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

It is difficult to have a complete control over our thoughts, beliefs, actions, reactions, emotions, etc. etc. It takes a lot of effort and attitude for ensuring proper control over ourselves. You would be glad to know that there are varieties of courses organized for this purpose. They teach you how to get hold of your emotions. At times, I realize it is very important to do so. Still it is difficult to implement, something, you know well but you cannot apply always. We tend to loose control and sense. We do mistake. May not it get transformed into some sort of actions always but we can feel the restlessness. Thanks anyway for your good words.

Sorry! I do not really want to name any specific organization. Search 'lifestyle education' instead. Hope it helps.

I think as long we are contended with our daily life, then we won't feel any misery or sadness in our life. As you had mentioned that we should always put our senses under control, which is a right attitude. I am always looking to the positive side of life, whenever i came across any difficulty in life. In the end, i always managed to put a smile back to my life. That's for this reminder....

Happiness is achieved if only one let go of the memories and effect of past traumas so inner healing can take place.

That is a wise statement and true although it is not always easy to have control of one's senses when surrounded by different and all sort of environment. But overcoming these hurdles make it even worth our while. And yes, leads to happiness. Cheers to you too, professor.

Certainly it is true we must be the master of our senses and passions to be happy, we must remember, however, to be their master not to renounce them all the best urban
