My Bleach Is Like Snot!

Mum is an expert when it comes to bleach as she uses it a lot at work. She reckons Parazone is the best at killing germs so she uses it at home as well. I do too but John bought me some Domestos from the corner shop the other day. I couldn't believe it when I used it for the first time. It really has the consistency of snot..and I should know because I have a cold at the moment and can compare the two! Disgusting, eh? It's really thick but I suppose it will last a long time. And it works, although it says on the bottle "kills all known germs" but what about the ones we DON'T know about? Does your bleach have the consistency of snot or is it at the other end of the spectrum..runny like pee.

Bleach? I do not use the stuff, not much anyway. I use a variety of other cleaners such as Pine Sol and Lysol, but I rarely use bleach. but oh the things you come up with !

Well, bleach is the only substance that will get rid of tea stains on my cups..oh, and I use it down the bog (toilet) as well! I've seen some thick bleach in my time but this stuff is..well, like snot. Haha!

Aha, well if I really want to get tea stains out, I use cleanser (like Ajax). That works pretty well too.

LOL, Janey, that's so hilarious!!! Well, my bleach is runny like - well, clear pee - hehe - and its the oxygen bleach that's environmentally-friendly. I've never, ever heard of thick bleach before, so yeah, I guess we learn something new every day! I just use the bleach to clean the loo and also to kill the smell of the knitted dishcloths I use. I find the regular wash doesn't do the trick, but the oxygen bleach does, and what's best, is that it's odourless and doesn't react with dish soap. Thanks for the laugh and happy Mylotting!

I'm glad I have made you laugh, it makes me feel good that people like yourself like reading my inane ramblings lol. I have learned something from YOU too. I can honestly say I have NEVER heard of oxygen bleach! Next time we go in Morrison's I shall be on a mission to find some, although with it being environmentally friendly it might only be bought from organic shops online. If it turns out that Morrison's don't sell it I shall then email them and ask "why not?" and let them know that a friend of mine says it's "ace" and "doesn't smell" and it would be a "missed opportunity" to help out those who don't like the thick, smelly, snotty bleach!

It's in any regular supermarket here in Canada and the UK, I'm not sure about the USA but I would imagine so. I got it out of the cleaning aisle next to the regular bleaches.

I do not use bleach hardly at all. A bottle would last about 3 years in my house.....and it is runny like pee. lol

It does last a long time with me, to be fair. This snotty version will last even longer I would think!

By bleach is liquid, but my dish wash is a bit gooey! With the comparison you have given how will I ever eat in a plate washed by that! I have to but some other thing.

Dish wash as in dishwasher liquid. Or do you mean washing-up liquid that is used in sinks. Remember them? LOL!

It makes this horrible sound when it comes out of the bottle. Something out of a cartoon like a custard pie being thrown at someone's face, you know the sound I mean?

Maybe they make it thick so it will not splash on things. I do not use bleach for much, but I have some. It is runny like water.

Mmmm, I'd never thought of that. I can always rely on you to give me a logical explanation my friend. And, d'you know something? It HASN'T splashed on anything either.
