I love watching all the holiday specials and movies etc during the Christmas season. My favorites though tend to be the older programs like Holiday Inn with Bing Crosby....I also love It's a wonderful life with James Stewart. Those are two of my very favorite things to watch...What is your favorite holiday program or movie?

Hiya jill, Favourite is "A Christmas Carol" I love this timeless Story and Film. The one I like the most is with George C. Scott and another where it´s based on a wicked businessman it was made in 1989 somewhere around and I have not seen it since where the Ghosts visit him at the Office. For the life of me I can remember the name of it but I loved that one too. Home Alone 1 & 2 of course are my very favourites I love the Characters. I thought Daniel Stern was really funny there and the Lady who played the Receptionist I was doubled laughing at her acting. "Little Women" is another favourite of mine too I love that one. Many other favourites and James Stewart is a very favourite Actor too.

Hiya Jill, Home Alone I love them but they are not on like they were before or I have a hard Job finding them because of all the Channel Changes that they have made here. It´s a real mess as you never know if a Film is going to start at the right time anymore. I am trying to record the best of them. I was trying to record a James Bond Film the other Week and it started and ended really late so I had to delete it as it had other programs on the end that I did not want on the Cd.

I always enjoyed "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Would watch it with our kids every year. I do like "It's a Wonderful Life" and also any and all of the holiday specials. Also like the holidays on ice specials and any country musicals. It's the best time of the year, in my opinion.

I have always loved White Christmas. A Charlie Brown Christmas is also one of my favorites, as well as one of my mom's favorites. I guess another favorite of mine is an acquired taste. It's pretty campy, but I saw it on TV as a child with my sister, so we always hope it comes on some staion every Christmas. It's called Smoky Mountain Christmas, and it stars Lee Majors and Dolly Parton. It was made in the mid-80s, I think.
